Recently, a friend experienced harassment and hacking on Instagram by an anonymous account. We discovered that the account owner resides in our town and intend to file a police report, although this incident occurred a few months ago. I wonder if Instagram retains login information such as IP addresses for situations like this. How long does Instagram store this data? If the police investigate, how thoroughly will they look into this? Will they be able to see all IP locations or just focus on the one related to the hacking incident? Can they trace the device and location as well?

Hello, I have exhausted all avenues on Instagram's help pages trying to resolve my issue. In [redacted], I connected my business Instagram account to the Marvelous Mouse Travels travel agency. However, now that I've started my own business, Making The Magic Happen Travel, I've updated my Facebook page and created a new Instagram account. Despite my efforts, I've been unable to unlink the old Marvelous Mouse Travels Instagram account from my Facebook page. I disconnected it from Facebook and connected my new account, but it still appears linked to the old one. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the Marvelous Mouse Travels Instagram account as the email and phone number associated with it have been deactivated. I need help unlinking this old account from my Facebook page. The Instagram username in question is cheryladamsmmt, and the Facebook account it remains linked to is Cheryl - Making The Magic Happen Travel.

Hello, My account @malu_lab has been disabled for 10 days now. The block happened during a promotion of a post, which was stopped with the following explanation: Hello Luca, I have checked your advertising account again, and unfortunately, we cannot reactivate it. All advertising accounts are evaluated based on compliance with guidelines and the quality of ad content. When accounts publish ads that do not comply with our Advertising Policies, they are deactivated. There is nothing you can do. We do not support ads for your business model. This decision is final. I would like to know which specific content violates Instagram's guidelines and how we can reinstate the account. Thank you for your help.

Dear Team, I am a member of the marketing team for Pacific Resort Hotel Group. We are the leading collection of resorts in the Cook Islands, with properties on Rarotonga and Aitutaki. I am currently looking into obtaining verified badges for each of our resort profiles on Instagram. I have attempted to apply for a Verified badge for the Pacific Resort Aitutaki (@pacificaitutaki) account following the standard Instagram process. Despite submitting the Certificate of Incorporation (attached), we have not received any response. We have recently rebranded, changing the resort name to Pacific Resort Aitutaki, different from our trade name on the certificate. The same situation applies to the Pacific Resort Rarotonga (@pacificrarotonga) profile. I am preparing to apply for verification for our other property profiles listed below and would like to ensure we have all the necessary documentation. I was recently tagged by a spam account in a post called "Pictures Exposed." Curious, I clicked on the link expecting funny celebrity photos. It prompted me to log back into my account, which I did since it seemed standard. Later, a friend warned me that I might have been hacked. Upon returning home, I tried to log in but was blocked due to suspicious activity. Instagram offered to send a security code to an email that my school blocks, leaving me unable to access it to receive the code. I am unable to log in to change my password. I am now seeking a way to update my email without needing to access my account. I need a solution urgently.

I temporarily deactivated my Instagram account for a break but when I tried to log back in during my vacation to share my spring break pictures, I encountered a problem. I reached out to Instagram support and followed their instructions to send a picture with a code, my name, and account name. Unfortunately, I have not received a response for days despite following the process. It seems like the issue might be related to my old phone number being linked to the account recovery link, which is causing difficulty since I now have a new number.

Hello, my name is Kobe. About 8 weeks ago, someone tried to access my Instagram account. I am now being asked to input a code to regain access. The code was supposedly sent to an email that was set up by my uncle, who is no longer available to provide the information due to personal reasons. Hi there, I'm Vaishnavi Singh. I forgot the password to my Instagram account last year. I want to address the issue of impersonators pretending to be Louis Thomas on various social media platforms, particularly related to Bitcoin mining. Scammers have created fake accounts using variations of Louis Thomas's name. I have reported these accounts, but they remain active. The impostors use similar names like LouisThomasChannell, LouisThomasChannel_, and LouisThomasChanel to deceive followers. Louis Thomas has made it clear that he is not involved in Bitcoin mining and has no connection to these fraudulent accounts. Despite my efforts to report these scams, the company has not taken action. I have contacted Louis Thomas directly through Instagram to make him aware of the situation. It is concerning to see these accounts continue to deceive thousands of people and exploit their trust. I hope that steps will be taken to address this ongoing issue and protect others from falling victim to these scams.

I've been attempting to access my account for the last two days @Jessmyvibes11, but I'm unable to due to an "unusual login attempt." The system said it would send a code to my email, but I no longer have access to that email address and can't recall the password. While I can login, I'm restricted from doing anything on the account due to this issue. I kindly request for your assistance in resolving this matter by either removing the restriction or sending the code to my current email address. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am Samira Bina. I reported a page named “therichkidsoftehran” for using personal photos without permission. I am upset as my privacy feels violated, and despite asking them politely to remove the images, they blocked me. I seek support in resolving this matter. The images I want removed are: 1. A personal photo of me at home where I am not fully clothed (image3.png). 2. A picture of my friend who is now divorced and does not wish to see photos with her ex-husband, with me standing next to her (image2.png). 3. Another image of me on the right side that I want deleted (image1.png). I request the page to be shut down or my photos to be removed.

I have been using Instagram for a long time now and recently created a page called "kapturethenature." I have received a positive response from my followers. However, I have noticed a daily decrease in followers by 4-5, which I suspect might be due to your team. I wonder if organic growth without promotions goes against Instagram's policies? I have tried reaching out through Google Play Store and email but have not received a response. I take this matter seriously, and if the decrease in followers continues, I will consider taking legal action. Should users who do not pay for promotions be penalized on the platform? I am looking for a prompt resolution to this issue. Thank you.

Less than a month ago, I deactivated my Instagram account. Now, I want to reactivate it, but I can't remember my password. I tried the "forgot password" option and followed the steps with my email, but I keep getting an error message. I reached out to Instagram via email, but I haven't received a response yet. I've been in contact with customer support via email, but haven't received a response yet. Unfortunately, my account was hacked today, and the hacker changed my username and email. Thankfully, all my pictures and profile are still intact and nothing has been deleted. As part of the verification process, I sent a picture of myself with a code to the support team. I'm really concerned about losing the pictures of my children. While investigating and verifying my identity, I kindly request that the account be disabled to prevent the hacker from deleting any of my photos.

Hello, Back in December [redacted], my Instagram account (m4dd_r4y7) was temporarily deactivated, and I've been attempting to regain access. Despite reaching out to Instagram multiple times, they keep directing me to use the Help Center, where my account isn't recognized due to its temporary deactivation, and my email address isn't being acknowledged. This frustrating loop of not being able to effectively communicate my issue is causing me a lot of inconvenience. I am willing to provide any necessary identification or verification to prove my ownership of the account. I simply wish to have it reactivated because my usual password is no longer working, and I'm running out of options. I would be grateful for any help you can offer.

I'm experiencing an issue with the link in my Instagram bio not directing correctly. The URL in my bio is correct and leads to my website www.lineageequine.com where customers can view and purchase products. However, when the link is clicked on in my bio on Instagram, it redirects to a page that does not display my products. I am unsure why the link is not directing users to my website accurately.
