I came across a man on Instagram with a fake profile. He initiated a conversation with me, and we continued to chat on WhatsApp. Despite realizing early on that something was off, I wanted to understand his intentions. Upon requesting his photo, he sent one of a guy he follows, whom I suspect is another fake account of his. Claiming to be a doctor without borders in Yemen, he avoided sharing further details for security reasons. Despite his courteous demeanor and lack of direct requests, he claimed to be falling in love with me, along with other exaggerated statements. When I confronted him about the inconsistency in his photos, he promptly blocked me on Instagram. I still have WhatsApp contact with him until tomorrow when I plan to block him. Concerned about his interactions with other women, many of whom are mutual friends, I wish to report him without him discovering it. I'm from Peru, while he converses in English and uses a New York number close to Long Island. I seek assurance that my report will remain confidential and wonder if he is truly in the US and not in Peru. I appreciate any assistance before disclosing his fake profiles to prevent risks if he turns out to be in Peru.

Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my theburtonianmag account, as it has been suspended due to a reported violation of the terms and conditions. Despite reviewing the terms, I'm unsure of the specific violation that led to this suspension, which occurred following the recent service disruptions on Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, I received an email alert about a login from an unfamiliar device, suggesting a possible hacking incident prior to the account suspension. I would appreciate guidance on the steps to restore access to my account.

I have an Instagram account under the username W6Sam and the email address [redacted] In early March, I found myself logged out of my account. Despite my multiple attempts to log back in, the system claimed my email was unknown. I verified my login credentials on the password page, only to find them correct. Suspecting my account may have been either taken over or deleted, I created a new W6Sam account and searched for my original one using my name as the login details had changed. To my surprise, my profile had been altered to the name GLENNAEDEHNA. Despite my efforts to inform Instagram the proper way, they continue sending me an account verification code. I'm unsure what to do with this code as I cannot access the account to verify anything, given that the username and password have been altered. It would be helpful if Instagram could guide me through this process by phone.

My wife and I have been trying to reach out to Instagram regarding an account that is impersonating her. Even though she followed the website's instructions and sent her picture with her ID, only her account got disabled along with the impersonator's. It's frustrating that the impersonator hasn't been asked to provide their ID photo. Making matters worse, this imposter is reaching out to my family members, creating fake accounts, and even sending alarming messages to my elderly mother, causing her to deactivate her Facebook. Despite our efforts to contact Instagram and Facebook, we're not getting the help we need to address this serious issue of harassment. If we can't find a resolution through these platforms, we might have to seek legal assistance. We appeal for a prompt response to tackle this distressing situation. Regards, Mike Otto.

I have since created a new account, hailey.grimes, possibly with the same email, although I am uncertain. Despite providing the required verification photo and code to prove my association with hailey_grimes, the old account remains active. Hello, Since around March 7th (estimated date based on when I first noticed a pop-up), someone has been intentionally causing issues by reporting my posts as self-harm or injury, though they are not. As a result, my art Instagram account, @swodaa, has been unfairly shadowbanned. I believe I have not breached Instagram’s terms of use or code of conduct. I am troubled by being penalized due to someone else’s harmful actions. My posts rarely include hashtags unless it is related to a specific franchise. Initially thinking someone was genuinely concerned, I now realize it is harassment with frequent "We’re Reaching Out To Offer Help" pop-ups daily. The shadowban has limited my reach to only my followers and prevented me from appearing on the explore page, impacting my account growth. Any assistance to address this issue would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, I am unsure who is behind this. Once more, my art Instagram account, @swodaa, has been unfairly shadowbanned because of this harassment. There is a promoter named @amazingquootesonly and her partners @outfitsgoalzs, @fashionative, @fashionmoodd_, and @fashionshelves who offered to promote my business in exchange for payment. The account assured me of a refund if no sales were made. After paying through PayPal, they failed to promote my business as promised. Despite several attempts to contact them, they did not respond. It seems like a scam, and I believe others may have experienced this too. I urge Instagram to ban them and their partners for using the platform for fraudulent activities. Thank you.

I have contacted Instagram multiple times regarding my hacked business account issue. Despite sending reports to the security team, I keep receiving responses instructing me to reset my personal account password. The business account, previously under the username Plushpumpkin and email [redacted], was compromised. It is now under the username Rowanunvera with the email H*******@i****.ru. Due to these changes, I am unable to regain access and provide accurate information in my reports. I have provided screenshots to clarify the situation. My new Plushpumpkin account (4th one) with email [redacted], and my personal account monyahk linked with [redacted] are also affected. I urge Instagram to review the hacked account (username rowanvera) and assist in recovering it. This issue is crucial as significant advertising investments have been made on Facebook and Instagram for our business. Since Saturday, March 16, my Instagram account has been hacked, and I lost access to it. When I attempted to log in, I was prompted to reset my password, but none of the information I provided - my email, username, or phone number - seemed to be associated with the account. The email address I used to sign up is [redacted], and my phone number is [redacted]. Originally, my username was adiianni29, but it has been changed to cenburgronobe. I reported this issue to Instagram via an automated email on Monday but have not received a response yet. I hope to resolve this quickly and seek direct assistance to regain access to my account. Hello Instagram team, I am unsure which email address to use to recover my disabled account, @theempirebyaa, since it was disabled on February 22, [redacted]. I have resolved the issue with the complaining party, who emailed [redacted] on February 23rd, granting consent to restore my account. I know that with the consent from the complaining party, there should be no problem restoring my account. However, it has been almost four weeks since I have been waiting for a response from your team with no update. I urgently need my @theempirebyaa business account back, so I would appreciate any information on how much longer I have to wait for its restoration. Thank you.

On February 12, I changed my password and disabled my account @JorgeMunoz. Unfortunately, I cannot recall my new password, and when attempting to reset it, a message indicated that my account does not exist. Despite reaching out to customer service in Spanish, they were not able to assist me adequately. They requested the email I used during registration ([redacted]) and the device I utilized to create the account (an iPod Touch using the iPhone app) around seven years ago. I provided original photos posted on Instagram, a picture of myself holding a paper with specific data they requested for verification, yet I did not receive the assistance I needed. I am eager to regain access to my account; it is a personal one with fewer than [redacted] followers. Although I have created a new account, I have a preference for my original one. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have two Instagram accounts, one private and one for regular use. I am unable to access my private account on the Instagram app and keep getting an error message when trying to log in. The account I can access on the app is not showing up on Google. I have contacted Instagram multiple times to no avail. I am disappointed with their poor support. I need my account back on the app as I can't message or do anything on Google. Please assist me in recovering my account promptly.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue with my Instagram account. My username is "barbaraklesitz." I recently updated the Instagram app on my phone, and since then, I have been unable to log in successfully. Every time I attempt to log in, I receive a message saying, "You logged out. She strongly denies the accusations of "impersonating a celebrity" and "posting degrading content about a group of people." She reassures that her content does not inappropriate, vilify, or sexualize any group based on ethnicity, religion, gender, or orientation that she does not personally identify with. She has adhered to nudity guidelines and believes she has not breached any terms. She is requesting immediate reinstatement of her account and a detailed explanation of any legitimate infringements that prompted the account disablement.

Hello, I have dedicated a significant amount of time to provide detailed information regarding why my account was disabled. I noticed unauthorized activity on my Instagram account after a user logged in from the United States and posted unauthorized content. Despite resetting my password and not deleting the content, my account with 203k followers @diyvirall linked to [redacted] was disabled for violating terms of use. I last accessed my Instagram account on March 13, [redacted], Wednesday night around 9-10 p.m. After experiencing loading issues and being unable to send or receive messages, I logged out to refresh the account. Unfortunately, I have been unable to log back in since then. When trying to log in, it prompts for a security code to be sent to my mobile number ending in [redacted], but I have not received any code despite multiple attempts. Hello, I want to report a post that was made from my account without my knowledge around the 11th of March. My account is @j_birthmark on Instagram and @birthmarkuk on Facebook. The post was promoting designer trainers, which I believe is a scam. I discovered it when a follower liked it, as it had been hidden from my view. Unfortunately, this virus was also able to post on my linked Facebook page, causing further complications. I would like to inquire if you are aware of this virus and if you can confirm that it has been completely removed from both my Instagram and Facebook pages. These pages are essential for my professional image, and even though my following is small, the impact could still be significant. On March 10, [redacted], I uploaded a music video. However, the following day, Instagram notified me that the video was removed for violating their community guidelines. I believe this decision was unfair, perhaps triggered by someone disliking the music genre and reporting it. Instagram's system should provide clearer explanations before removing content. To compound the issue, I discovered I have been shadowbanned, which still persists. I am frustrated by the removal of a simple music video featuring an artist rapping over a beat, leading to my first shadowban. Additionally, it is disheartening that all my posts have been removed from the explore page due to a single report, resulting in a shadowban. On March 10th, [redacted], I uploaded a music video on Instagram. Unfortunately, the next day I received a notification that the video was removed for violating community guidelines. It seems unfair that my video was taken down without a clear explanation. Furthermore, I have been shadowbanned since then, which I find unjust and discriminatory. My content has been removed from the explore page as well. I believe the system should be more transparent and fair when reviewing reported posts. Many innocent posts get removed due to reports from users who may not agree with the content. This has affected me greatly as I put a lot of effort into my daily posts, and this unwarranted removal has hindered my progress. I kindly request assistance in addressing this issue.
