Dear Instagram, I created the nails.by.j account in [redacted], and have used it in the past year. Recently, I tried to link my jmsauca account to nails.by.j and discovered I couldn't sign in. The system shows "suspicious activity detected", which is odd because I only accessed the account from my old Samsung galaxy s6. The suggested email linked to the account (j*******[redacted]) is unfamiliar, and I've been unable to find which email it might be. I've followed your support advice and contacted the potential email addresses with no success. nails.by.j was never associated with a Facebook account or phone number. I can provide details such as the original email [redacted], owner name Jazmin Sauca, friends' account follows, and original photos to verify my ownership. I have noticed that there are concerns about Instagram deleting fan accounts. It has been suggested that this is due to there being more fan accounts than actual celebrities. Fan accounts are not spam; they are a means for us to express ourselves and show appreciation for the celebrities who bring us joy. Speaking as a Limelight of Why Don’t We, celebrities value and enjoy fan accounts. They appreciate our edits, imagines, games, and above all, they are pleased to see our support. While there may be drama, rumors, and involvement in multiple fandoms, this should not warrant the removal of fan accounts. We are not causing harm but simply showing love and admiration for our idols in a way that is meaningful to us. Deleting these accounts could lead to many users turning away from Instagram, especially given the recent update. I urge you to reconsider and allow us to continue showing our support through fan accounts. If this information is inaccurate and accounts are not being deleted, I apologize for any confusion. Hello, Today, I converted my Instagram account to a business profile to enhance my reach and showcase my short comedy videos to a broader audience. I create fifteen-second comedic sketches and want to expand beyond my current followers. I am curious as to why linking a Facebook account and creating a Facebook business page is necessary to access these features. I am not fond of Facebook and have no intention of using it. Despite the close integration between Facebook and Instagram, I find it unreasonable to have to establish an account on a platform I don't intend to use so I can grow my audience on Instagram. Can't I just pay Instagram directly for advertising? Why is this additional, seemingly unnecessary step mandatory? Moreover, after reluctantly creating a Facebook account and adjusting my privacy settings to the highest level due to my reluctance to engage with the platform, I found myself locked out of the account. This obstacle prevents me from utilizing it for the purpose I initially signed up for. Instagram is where my brand resides, and I am heavily invested in its use, while Facebook is not my preferred platform. Is there a way for me to advertise directly through Instagram? I am having trouble disconnecting a deleted Instagram account from my Facebook Business page. My original Instagram account was hacked, so I deleted it. Unfortunately, I did so before disconnecting it from my Facebook Business page. Now, Facebook is asking me to access the deleted Instagram account to disconnect it, which is impossible. I am unable to disconnect it from the FB side. Moreover, I cannot convert my new Instagram account into a business account and link it to my Facebook Business page because it is still associated with the deleted account. Whenever I try, I receive an error message stating that an Instagram account is already linked to the page, even though the original handle no longer exists. I urgently need Instagram to unlink the old deleted account so that I can connect my new one.

I am experiencing issues attempting to get support for my Instagram username @Re1L. The last time I accessed my account was on October 9th at around 6:24 pm. Following a direct message I sent, my account logged me out, displayed errors, and later most of my pictures were missing. When I tried to log back in using my username @Re1L with the password Lovelife, it prompted me with a request for a verification code due to suspicious activity. However, upon checking my email for the code, it also flagged suspicious activity and denied me access. Friends mentioned my account showing as active when it wasn't, and there were links being sent and deleted under my name. The email associated with this Instagram account is [redacted], and I primarily used an Apple iPhone and a linked tablet for account access. This account has solely been used with the username @Re1L, and no other usernames were previously associated with it.

Hello Instagram Support Team, I am reaching out on behalf of our social media marketing company based in Panama City, Panama. We manage multiple accounts for clients, mostly restaurants. The issue we are facing since last Sunday (Jan 6th) is that our clients' accounts keep getting disabled every two to three days without a clear reason. This has become a time-consuming and frustrating challenge for us as we need to re-enable the accounts through the Instagram recovery form repeatedly. When we try to upload content, we log out of all accounts on our devices and log in to the specific account for uploading pictures. Shortly after, we receive a pop-up message saying the account has been logged out, and upon trying to log in again, we are informed that the account has been disabled for violating Instagram policies. I lost access to my Instagram on the morning of Friday, January 11th. I am currently in Peru and relying on WiFi for internet access on my phone. Upon reaching a location with WiFi, everything worked except for Instagram. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps like restarting my phone and reinstalling the app, the issue persisted. I even attempted to log in from another device and through private browsing, which may have triggered a "suspicious login attempt" due to not having access to the email I used to sign up. Unfortunately, I used a random email address during registration and did not link any other contact information. I now seek assistance to unblock my account so I can log in with my username and password. As a result of using a non-existent email like "[redacted]," I have no way to retrieve it. Although I have the password for the account, I cannot recall the previous username used. The account is relatively new with only one video showing me surfing in Peru. I can provide additional verification to prove my identity, except for the exact email address used during registration.

I recently tried to log into my Instagram account, william.h.hale, only to find that it has been disabled for violating community standards. The person responsible for reporting my account is the new boyfriend of someone I have been dating for a year. He confessed to scamming me through their accounts. Initially, she claimed the photos were of a fake boyfriend for a contest in Ukraine, but he later revealed it was a scam. Despite providing a valid Illinois driver's license in my appeal, I have not received a response in three days. I want my account reinstated, especially as he admitted to scamming me on a deleted post. I also believe their accounts should be closed for fraud. I used my account to communicate with her and share my life in the USA. I am in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she invited me to propose, only to discover she is in Thailand with him. Please reactivate my account promptly as I am not involved in fraud, unlike the person who reported it.

I'm having trouble accessing my old account with the username @killerkittn. I reported the account for impersonation in frustration, hoping it would be deleted so I could create a new account with the same email. However, I'm now unable to create another account as it states I've violated terms of use. Oddly, I can make an account on my computer browser but not on the app. Additionally, I can't log into the first account I ever created on the app. I hope to resolve this issue to use the Instagram app correctly.

I have been on Instagram for almost five years without any issues. However, I recently encountered a problem. The girl's father mentioned Instagram as one of the factors contributing to her decision. Upon exploring content on Instagram, I am alarmed by what is being posted and shared. Personally, I enjoy using the app to share my travel photos and culinary creations, especially with all the fun filters available. Social media can be unpredictable, with an overwhelming amount of free expression. Regrettably, platforms like Instagram have become channels for cyberbullying and extreme views. As an advocate for mental well-being, I believe action needs to be taken to address these issues. While I appreciate privacy and freedom online, certain hashtags like #depression #killyourself #endmylife lead to disturbing conversations. Implementing a ban on harmful hashtags could be a step forward in creating a safer online environment. I need help. A friend's account from South Korea got hacked, and she's devastated. We've tried everything, contacted Instagram, and even talked to cybercrime but no luck. The hacker, who is Turkish, keeps changing the username and profile picture. They also hacked into her email and deleted Instagram's submission request email. The account is @mertcanxs00, previously @hwa__ya, with over 120k followers now dropped to 114k. This account is her livelihood, and she can't work without it.
