Hello, I’m Selena and I'm reaching out because my Instagram account was hacked, and I am unable to access it. I received an email notifying me that the hacker changed my account email from [redacted] to another one. However, when I try to reverse this change, I am unable to do so. Despite following all the instructions provided by Instagram, I have not received any assistance. I have important business contacts that I can only reach through my IG account. The hacker altered my account name from selii_xo with the name Selena🌹 to Elnora Torp. They have also changed my profile picture to inappropriate images. This situation has left me very distressed. I am unsure what steps to take next. Please help me resolve this issue.

Lately, my engagement on Instagram has been really good. I have been consistently using 30 hashtags in my posts, which have been performing well. There have been rumors about Instagram calling the shadowban just a glitch, but it's hard to believe when it's not resolved. I am simply trying to grow my page organically and have no interest in purchasing Instagram promotions. Despite reaching 250k impressions, I have been shadowbanned. If using 30 hashtags is against the rules, Instagram should clarify this in their guidelines. I hope to receive an email with assistance on how to address this issue.

A while back, my account was unlawfully accessed and modified by someone I know, resulting in an offensive bio being displayed. The perpetrator changed both the email and password, rendering me unable to log in. Despite numerous reports by friends to have the account removed, it remains active. The account in question is "alxxislovx5," and the associated email should have been [redacted], although I can't confirm due to its compromise. I am seeking assistance in deleting this account promptly due to its offensive nature. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I forgot my password and tried to reset it through email, but I never received the recovery email. Despite checking the information multiple times and looking through my spam folder and entire web.de account, the email didn't arrive. The inactivity of my email account may have caused automatic settings changes that I am unaware of, possibly resulting in this issue. Following a suggestion from web.de's FAQ to delete and recreate my account, I did so. However, my email address, [redacted], has now been locked for a year. I can verify that the EpicNetwork99 account belongs to me by mentioning it is linked to my personal account, epictures99. Although my account is still small, I have invested around 15 to 20 hours into it. I hope for assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, I need to report an incident involving my son's Instagram account. He is 15 and goes by the username aaronshen_95. We filed a report with the local police department and would appreciate Instagram's assistance. Here is a summary of what occurred. At approximately 1:00 PM Pacific time on 10/18/[redacted], my son sent explicit photos to one of his followers, mona_lee_1997, in private after a request from them. He doesn't know this individual in real life but has been chatting with them for about a month. Within 45 minutes, my son received email alerts indicating logins from San Francisco and Gold River, CA. His followers received the photos multiple times, and the images appeared in his feed. Later, we were informed by a teacher and the school district that his account may have been compromised. Subsequently, he deactivated his account. We are requesting Instagram to investigate the situation, remove any circulating photos, and identify the perpetrator for accountability. For further details, contact me at [redacted] or via email. I am in need of urgent assistance. Yesterday at 3:45 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, my main account "wanderingshannanigans" was hacked. The hacker changed the username, email, and passwords to "cerezelbriella." I have been trying to regain control of the account by reporting it and asking my friends to flag it. Unfortunately, the account has been removed. I am asking for your help in retrieving the account as there might still be a chance it exists. Despite reaching out to Instagram 2 Fac Support, I have not had any success. I created a new account called "Wanderingshannanigans" to secure the username but I am still hoping to recover the original account with all my memories and photos, especially those related to my recent engagement. Hello, I am Khorea J. I am having trouble accessing my account. The system asks me to verify my phone number, but I no longer have access to it. I have tried using my new number and my brother's number, but it's not working. Logging in through Facebook and Gmail has also been unsuccessful. When attempting to reset my password, it states there is no account with my email address. However, when I try to create a new account with the same email, it says it's already in use. My friends and family can't find my account and it seems like I've blocked them. I'm unsure what has occurred and feel lost. I just want to regain access to my account. 😩😭😭😭💔

My Instagram account was "lorenzo_cante_photo." I have been posting my photos for about two years, with 6k followers. Yesterday I posted my last photo, and this morning when I logged in, I got a notification that someone might have tried to change my password. I tried to log in, but I received a message saying "your account did not comply with Instagram's rules." I clicked on "learn more," and it said that I was pretending to be someone else, which is FALSE. I submitted my driver's license as proof of identity.

My Instagram account was hacked in August, and all my professional photos, including pictures of my 6-year-old daughter, were stolen. I feel unfairly treated as other accounts with explicit content seem to go unnoticed. I maintain a positive and respectful presence on the platform, showing affection to my girlfriend, which I don't see as harassment. I have a substantial following of 18k and wish to address this issue promptly. I believe I deserve a warning to correct any inappropriate content rather than being banned without a chance to rectify the situation.

There is an online account with followers from my school who believe it's me, but I'm a teacher without social media. I find it concerning that strangers allow minors to follow them. I worry about the individual's intentions and feel it might require police involvement. I'm a mandated reporter and need advice on how to stop students from following this account mistakenly linked to me. Even though the spelling is different, minors may not realize it. It is crucial to protect the well-being of these students as we all have a responsibility towards their safety. This situation is tarnishing my reputation as a public servant.

I'm certain about my password because I've used it on other devices successfully. Yet, when I attempted to log in on my phone, the password failed. Upon investigation, I discovered another account closely resembling mine - olivialeffertss. Surprisingly, my password worked for this account. While trying to reset my original account's password, the reset link was being sent to olivialeffertss instead. Assuming deleting olivialeffertss would fix the issue, I soon realized it complicated matters. Now, any password reset attempt prompts sending a link to my email, [redacted], which is not receiving any emails despite numerous tries. It seems like either a technical glitch or potential hacking is at play.

I have been unable to access my Instagram business account under the username wildrosemassage for over a year. Despite trying various methods suggested by the help center, no solution has worked. My account is not allowing me to reconnect my Facebook to it. The option is grayed out, and I find this frustrating as I have been attempting to do this for some time. I am annoyed by Instagram using my Facebook activity to display ads and recommendations, feeling it is an invasion of privacy. Default settings permit this, and one has to manually disable them. I wish to disconnect my Facebook and Instagram, but the app I am using does not support this. I simply want to view pictures without being bombarded by personalized ads. I wish to disconnect them without creating a new account or linking to another. The methods for iOS are not effective, and I need a solution quickly.

Hello, I recently disabled my account with the username emily.bellerrose. I am having trouble accessing it. I also created two other accounts in the past for a makeup account, but never used them. Now, instead of logging into my real account (Emily.bellerrose) using Facebook, I am only able to access those unused accounts. I received an email requesting a photo in a specific format that I don't know how to provide. I would prefer speaking to someone over the phone for help. Thank you.
