I am no longer receiving notifications for direct messages on my account across all devices, even though I was until the morning of 5/28/18. I have verified that notifications are correctly set up on both my phone settings and Instagram settings. I have attempted to resolve the issue by restarting my phone multiple times and reinstalling the app, to no avail. It's concerning because direct messages are my main way of communication with a few friends, and the lack of notifications is causing delays in our conversations. Other users can receive direct message notifications on my phone, ruling out an issue with the device itself.

Hello Instagram community, I've been on this platform for a while, experiencing issues with accounts impersonating Amanda Elise Lee. These accounts are part of a scam involving money transfers via Western Union. They request sensitive information such as bank details and iTunes cards. I suspect many of them are based in the Middle East. I've confronted some during video chats, leading them to block me. They deceive users by asking for money through bribes using the Hangout app. I've unfortunately been scammed multiple times. This situation is unfair to all Instagram users, including myself, who have left kind comments on Amanda's posts only to be manipulated. We need to collectively address this issue to protect the community from financial exploitation and impersonation. Thank you, Instagram.

I have come across multiple fake accounts on Instagram impersonating Amanda Elise Lee. These accounts are tricking individuals into participating in fraudulent three-way transactions involving Western Union. They either lure victims to Hangouts to conduct these transactions or request important documents to commit theft. They also coerce people into purchasing iTunes cards or providing credit card details. This scammer has targeted me as well, and I have documented the incidents on my Instagram profile. I suggest investigating these activities on Hangouts or seeking help from Google support. I am frustrated with this individual's deceitful actions and hope that the necessary steps are taken to address these issues on Instagram. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, my name is Rania. I have been trying to reach out to you regarding some issues with my Instagram account. I have been using the app since July [redacted] on an Android tablet, experiencing no problems until recently. On Wednesday, I encountered difficulties logging in from Safari due to lack of phone space. During this login attempt, I received an unusual login notification around 1-2 pm. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the associated phone number or Yahoo email, as it is an old account and the password has been forgotten. The email I believe is associated is [redacted] and the phone number is [redacted]. I suspect my account was hacked on April 14 or 15, [redacted], most likely through my Facebook account. The hacker changed the linked Yahoo email to gain password control, then altered it back with a slight variation. All 20 of my posts were deleted. I previously messaged you from a different email, but created this one for future contact when my Instagram is recovered. To verify my ownership, I can provide the password "Pizza?32" and describe the missing photos, including a lone message conversation. The account's previous username was rxnxa_23, changed to rxnxa_2 by the hacker, and the password they provided was Mama123 before I was disconnected.

Hello, my name is Sujya Camp, and my Instagram account name is sujyasan. Yesterday, after I posted a picture, I logged out of my account. When I tried to log back in, I was unable to do so. In the past, when I couldn't remember my password, I would request help and receive a text with a link to regain access to my account. Hello, my name is Anara Murzabaeva. I used my Instagram account Nara1101 on my old phone for a long time. I recently changed my phone number after using the same one for four years. I forgot that my Instagram was linked to that old number as I thought it was connected to my email, [redacted], since I reset my password through email. After not using Instagram for a month, I tried to log in on my new phone. It prompted that the password was incorrect and when I tried to reset it, the link was being sent to my old number, [redacted], which is no longer in use. Hello, I'm having ongoing issues with my business page, "abbeboo," which has about 29k followers in the US. The problems include missing buttons like the "view insights" button, incomplete analytics particularly on "profile views," and followers reporting not seeing my posts resulting in a significant drop in viewership. Videos which used to get 20-30k views now only reach 3k, and picture likes have decreased from [redacted]-[redacted] to around [redacted]. It seems like my viewership is being restricted after reaching a certain number of views. Additionally, my Instagram app keeps crashing despite reinstalling. My account yzbob1 has been compromised by Russian hackers. I'm puzzled as to how they managed to change my email without any notification reaching my inbox. Regardless, I am determined to regain control of my account and will not tolerate someone pretending to be me online. Please either restore my access or delete the account entirely. Resolving this matter is vital to me, and I urge you to improve your support system to handle such situations more efficiently. To Whom It May Concern, I would like to bring to your attention that I have two separate accounts on the social media platform under the same email address, [redacted] I created the second account with the username "the_munro_diary" after temporarily disabling the previous account with the username "ms.munro". On May 13, [redacted], I discovered that my previous account, "ms.munro," was hacked, and unauthorized posts were made. Myself and two friends reported this to Instagram, and I went ahead and permanently deleted the compromised account. However, following the report, Instagram temporarily disabled my current account, "the_munro_diary," which I am eager to reactivate as soon as possible. I attempted to provide the necessary identification through the provided link, but encountered difficulty as the site kept rejecting the jpeg files I uploaded to the help center. My Instagram account, @the_bipolar_barbie, has been hacked and deleted incorrectly. Many other users have experienced the same issue recently. I was using the app to thank my 75k followers for their support in my mental health journey when I was suddenly logged out. Despite trying multiple reset attempts, I received only error messages. After going through the troubleshooting process and submitting ownership proof, I have not received any help. Due to past hacking and stalking incidents, my account is essential for my brand and business as an author, speaker, designer, model, and artist. I am frustrated and would appreciate a prompt resolution to this problem.

The account name is now "merlin_2327__keven" with a Russian email. I have pictures to send via email to show this. I tried to reset my password, but I received an email this morning saying that my password has been changed to a Russian email. I need help or to be connected to a German support team. I have pictures showing my account with my name Niklas Franke, but the wrong account name "merlin_2327__keven." It should be "nikoio27" as I mentioned. I have had my bridal store's Instagram account for 4 years under the username "Blushingbrideon17." Suddenly, about a month ago, the username was changed to "nolan_6068__harlan," which I do not recognize. I am unable to access my account even though the unauthorized user is not posting on it. I have followed Instagram's account recovery steps without success. When I try to reset the password, it prompts to send the reset link to a foreign email ending with .ru, which seems suspicious. Hello! I've noticed that after the November update, my Instagram account no longer has poll stickers and sliders in stories. I've eliminated it being a phone problem by testing it on an old iPhone 6 with the latest Instagram app, which also lacks these features. I suspect it's an account-related issue. Hello, I'm Pietro Lungarini. Recently, there has been an influx of accounts on Instagram attempting to steal my identity. It all began a few weeks back when the first fake accounts emerged. I followed your guidance and reported these accounts via phone, leading to their bans. However, the issue persists as more similar accounts are emerging rapidly. Some even have thousands of fake followers, mirroring my own follower count. This situation is causing confusion among my clients who are unsure which account is authentic. For the past five days, I have been unable to follow anyone on Instagram due to what seems to be a 'temporary' block. I admit that I may have crossed the limit unknowingly by following too many accounts too quickly, but I've since slowed down my activity and still face the same issue.
