I created an Instagram account, a couple of months ago. Went to use it today and after inputting my e-mail address & password, I was instructed to add my phone number to the account to which they would *text* a security code. As I don't own either a cell phone nor a smartphone, I can't receive the e-mail's security code required to move forward into my Instagram account. I don't belief it should be a requirement to own*us a cell phone*smartphone, in order to use Instagram. If that's going to be their new policy, they should have notified me of the policy change during the intervening weeks since I last used my account there.
