A recent Instacart delivery was made to my workplace, but the delivery employee did not bring the groceries all the way inside. The items, including raw meat and ice cream, were left unattended in a common area, posing a food safety concern as they were not claimed promptly. Despite over [redacted] people in the building, no one seemed to be aware of the delivery. The lack of notification from the delivery person and the inability to contact customer service for assistance has left me frustrated with the situation. It would have been more appropriate if the Instacart employee had taken a few extra steps to inform me about the delivery so I could ensure it reached the correct recipient or contacted them directly.

Today, I placed an order with Aldi and selected the priority option, paying extra for it. The shopper quickly started shopping and we even discussed replacement items through chat. The app indicated that the shopping was completed, but unfortunately, the order never arrived. After that, the app rescheduled the delivery for 6:30 pm, which worried me as the shopper had already checked out and we had communicated. I'm still waiting for the order to be delivered.

Since June [redacted], I have been blocked from the platform. They claimed I added items without permission, but sometimes customers request additional items, which we are allowed to add. On two occasions, a box of sushi showed up on the receipt mistakenly because the cashier didn't notice it belonged to the next customer in line. Consequently, I was deactivated based on these accusations of adding items without permission.

I was recently rejected as an Instagram shopper due to a past incident of "sleeping in a city park." I am shocked at how Instacart handled this and am relieved not to be associated with a company that seems to have very strict standards. If they are so concerned about my previous actions, I wonder how they would react if I simply took a short nap between orders (definitely not in a park!). I request that all my personal details be erased from their system, as I do not wish to be connected with a company that lacks flexibility. It's no surprise they outsource their customer service. I'm a shopper who needs assistance with logging in. I recently got a new phone and email address, and the ones linked to my account are no longer valid. When I try to log in with my old number or email and password, the app prompts me for a verification code sent to my old contact information, which I can't access. I'm in urgent need of help. After some failed attempts, I spoke with a representative and decided to proceed with my fiancé’s email and phone number. However, now that my account is active, I am unable to update the email and phone number. My goal is to successfully edit this information. I submitted my application for an Instacart shopping position over a week ago. I received and activated my card, but I have not heard anything regarding my background check for almost 2 weeks now. I am eager to start working but I am unable to contact anyone at the company for assistance. I have been checking the status of my background check regularly, but I have not received any updates. I have been incurring high order fees because I intended to purchase multiple cases of water, but my orders keep getting substituted or not fulfilled. I was informed that the shopper was "a small person" and couldn't handle the water cases. I did not request a physically larger person to handle my order. I consistently pay a significant amount for my purchases, yet they are always incorrect. The replacements I receive are either expensive or of poor quality. The tip keeps increasing, and it is unjust to charge me more because the shopper is altering my order to raise their tip. Once again, I had ordered 6 cases of water and they will not be delivered. This situation is becoming exasperating.

I have been a customer of Instacart for about a year and a half. Periodically, I take advantage of the Buy One Get One Free deal on Nature's Bounty Melatonin (3mg-[redacted] count), which has been available for many years. Every time I have ordered this deal, I have received the free one, except for my recent order that was delivered yesterday. Upon contacting customer service today to address this issue and also missing two types of cheese from my order, I encountered a rude representative who stated that the deal was not honored. Given my recent difficult circumstances, including going through a divorce after 34 years of marriage and facing financial hardship without access to my disability or food stamps, every saving matters to me. I struggled to communicate with both employees I spoke to, including the supervisor. I am requesting a refund of $9.99 plus tax and fees for the missing free item. If necessary, I am prepared to involve legal assistance for this matter, despite it being a small amount.

I'm confused about what happened, but I didn't receive a full refund. I can't find my account online, and my $90 for the buckets I ordered hasn't been refunded. The items, including baby clothes and socks, never arrived as the order was canceled.

I was taking my verification picture, and my camera slipped, resulting in a blurry image. I then accidentally submitted it, causing my account deactivation. Despite sending two clear pictures holding my ID and Instacart card for reactivation, my account remains deactivated. I am eager to answer any security questions required. I enjoy working with Instacart and rely on the income it provides. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I recently placed an order through Kroger and encountered several substitutions that were not ideal. Despite requested items like flour tortillas being replaced with corn tortillas, no prior consultation occurred. Additionally, the Kroger brand refried beans that were unavailable were substituted with cans of nonfat and traditional from a different brand, which was unexpected. Normally, I have had smooth shopping experiences where shoppers confirm alternatives with me. This time, it seems the shopper may not have made sufficient effort to locate the items I needed, resulting in a significant deviation from my original order.

I placed an order with Publix in South Carolina. There was some confusion as I added an item within 5 minutes of placing my initial order, resulting in two shoppers being assigned. The evaluation system for shoppers appears unjust, and the consequences for receiving a four-star rating are unreasonable in my opinion. I struggle to understand the rationale behind this procedure. It seems excessive to penalize individuals' earning potential due to a potential customer's dissatisfaction. Rebuilding one's reputation becomes challenging when opportunities are scarce during peak working hours. Is there a scarcity of assignments within the shopping sector that necessitates such cutthroat competition among shoppers? This method seems ineffective and disheartening, especially for newcomers entering the workforce. Wouldn't it be more straightforward to communicate any concerns directly with the shopper rather than requiring them to expend time and resources amidst traffic with no assurances of work availability?

I need some guidance as the assistance I've received hasn't been effective. I'm in the process of finalizing the setup of my in-store shopper account and need to schedule a remote interview. Every time I select a time and try to confirm, I'm redirected to a page prompting me to input my zip code to create an account, despite already having completed this step. Additionally, I am unable to reach out to support through the app, as there is no chat option available.

I placed an order at Publix on [redacted] in Murrells Inlet, SC, and was supposed to pick it up. The order went through, and my credit card was billed. However, I have not received any notification of the order. Upon checking, the store has no order under my name, Patricia C. I want to ensure that I won't be charged for the order on my credit card. I am willing to replace the order if necessary, but I want to avoid being charged for two orders. Help!

I encountered issues with my Publix Instacart order. The Publix brand matchstick carrots, two bundles of green onions, coleslaw mix, a head of cabbage, and ground chicken were missing although the app showed them as in stock. It's frustrating to find missing items upon receiving the order. As long as I'm not billed for these items, it's acceptable. This experience has inconvenienced me, and I may not use this app for future orders. Thank you.

I have been an Instacart shopper for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Recently, I accepted an order, but the customer changed her mind due to an item not being available at the store. Despite several attempts to cancel the order, I encountered difficulties as the help center was not responsive due to high chat volumes. The app prompted me to contact support to cancel the order, but the help center remained unreachable. Even after trying to troubleshoot the issue by force stopping the app, I was unable to proceed with other orders. Despite explaining my situation to the support team 40 minutes ago, I did not receive any assistance. The phone number on the shopper card was not in service, leaving me stranded with no viable solution. It seems Instacart's support system is tailored towards drivers rather than shoppers like me, prompting me to consider working for Uber instead.

I am unable to log into my shopper and delivery account because I have a new phone number, and the system won't allow me to change it. I need to update my information to start working. It's frustrating that customer service or tech support hasn't been helpful. It's important to prioritize the needs of workers who enable the service to function. The focus should be on the shoppers and drivers who contribute to the company's success. Communicating through text messages for support is not the best way to assist employees. Ensuring that workers are content will lead to better productivity. The website and application for updating information need major improvements.

Hello, I'm Josmary C. and I've been trying to contact Instacart for almost a month regarding my deactivated shopper account without any explanation. I suspect it may be related to an incident involving an alcohol order before Thanksgiving. The policy states that alcohol deliveries require someone 21 years or older to receive it, but when I tried to deliver the order, no one was present. Despite my attempts to contact the customer, I received no response. Instacart support couldn't reach the customer either, and instructed me to keep or donate the order. The order was from Sprouts Farmers Market. I'm hoping to resolve this issue soon and get back to work. Thank you.
