I got an instant headache when I woke up this morning and saw my email from Instacart that I signed up for membership and my visa was charged for ***.** without any notification. I am a senior citizen with limited resources and could have got a heart attack. First of all I never agreed to membership. Second I never signed up for membership. . Third I never authorized any debit to my credit card. This is disgusting and a blatant unauthorized unliateral use of my credit card information which I feel like reporting to the authorities. I made a few purchases through Instacart and paid the fees that were requested on each purchase. After seeing the email I called the iInstacart number *********** and spoke to someone named Diana who said the subscription will be cancelled and my credit card will be refunded ***.**. Now I will be stressed further until I see the credit on my account. Please ensure immediate credit to my account. I should be compensated for the stress and anxiety I am going through now especially since I am unwell and receiving medical treatment.

I contacted instacart by phone and they cancelled the subscription charge which I did not authorize. It was done immediately. I am never using instacart again for fear of repeat of such incidence .
