The issue in GetHuman-iwgcello's own words
Absolutely too many substitutions I want what I want and I absolutely DO NOT blame my personal shopper at the Safeway that she shopped at ( my local store) at was just shopped out - I know it was dec **rd but they usually stock well going into the holiday and it was late aft when my order went in. What happened is she texted me and I was working on my yard so I didn’t hear them come in however as soon as I saw she was contacting me I called her and caught her in time to go thru the substitutions. Question. The “left field” milk is my all around favourite ever but the last time I was at the store they were having a clearance and I bought the last *. Sad that it probably was my last period - yet when I was using your app- I guess -or - it is Safeway’s app and there was the left field there at a good price and I snapped it up without seeing it greyscale and or out of of stock - there was no error notice. So I had no warning it was out of stock until my personal shopper told me there was none there. So it got replaced with a much more expensive Safeway O milk that I am not crazy about but I didn’t have a choice.*This repeated with several other items - my shopper was sort of between and a rock and a hard place - since Safeway was out who IS NOT updating their app? You are just a platform for them - once I choose the store is it all their responsibility? *Issue number two: I purchased enough arm and hammer products via their promotional to fulfill free delivery - but there was no mention of it - it sort of vanished when I tried to get back to the page I could not. I like arm and hammer products but this seemed a sneaky way to get you to purchase their products. It really disturbed me. What happened to it? I could not find my to any help at all at this point the line between Safeway and instacart blurred. And no one seemed to be home - if instacart is going to be the responsible party of this purchase then I should have had a way to contact instacart I was in a Safeway feedback loop every time I tried to get help I was just going back round and round with Safeway. This was very disconcerting - your app needs more work - I should have been able to get to a live chat option which I finally found out did does not exist. *This entire order was a Christmas splurge. So I wanted things to go well - I got many wonderful groceries and my shopper was very nice. It’s not a shoppers problem that the store is out of stock - one or two is fine but not seven. Which increased the bill substantially. Not cool. I needed the ingredients and specific products that I wanted for my holiday family meal so what was I supposed to do - say no to the substitutes. Plus seven days to process a bill totally is just bogus. Not in this day and age. So if anyone actually reads this email. Yikes - address your problems man - don’t leave your shoppers in an impossible position
