I went to the Ottawa IKEA to collect my order today after driving for 2 hours. Upon arrival, I was informed that my order was oversold and was asked if I had received a phone call. I later got a message at 4:27 pm, saying my order was ready for pickup. I'm still interested in getting my order and can pick it up tomorrow as requested. Previously, I had ordered the same item and a bed for pickup in Hamilton. However, I received a late email stating that the pull-out drawers were not available, so I had to order the missing items from the Ottawa store. I've been trying to reach customer service for over 2 hours, and I'm still on hold without any updates on my wait time. This is my first time ordering from IKEA, and I must say I am quite disappointed. I understand the challenges due to Covid, but the service has been quite frustrating.

About three weeks ago, we bought an Ektorp loveseat to complement our recently acquired Ektorp sofa and Ektorp armchair in Calgary. Upon purchase, the store was out of the Vittyard white loveseat cover, but promised a restock soon. Despite our regular checks in-store and online, the cover remains elusive. We suspected Covid-19 may be causing delays and patiently waited, though it now seems IKEA has discontinued the Ektorp line in the [redacted] catalogue, leaving us perplexed. How can we find a white cover for our loveseat when none are available? This situation renders the loveseat unusable and clashes with our existing furniture. We're disheartened that the Ektorp line was ceased without warning, leaving us with a dilemma. Obtaining a Vittyard White Loveseat Cover for our new Ektorp loveseat is crucial. We hope there is stock available somewhere in the country! Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I canceled an order on July 27, [redacted], and was informed by adviser Ellis, reference number [redacted]0, that I would receive a £[redacted] refund within 7-10 days. However, I have not received the refund yet. After calling twice, I was told there is a significant backlog. Today, when I called, I was informed that there is a "problem" and was given another number to contact. I was not informed about this issue before. I have been told twice that there is a backlog but not specifically that the refund "has not happened." I have been put on hold for a long time and disconnected before speaking with anyone. This situation is affecting my blood pressure, and I am incurring interest charges on my card, despite always paying the balance in full and never facing interest charges before. I request compensation for these issues.

Order number [redacted]83: I have received multiple emails informing me that my item was picked up and shipped. The tracking number provided by FedEx initially showed it was out for delivery but then reverted to being in the warehouse. I am confused about the status of my package and when I can expect to receive it. The delivery was scheduled for Aug 15, but I have not received it yet. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and the inability to reach someone over the phone. I hope for a prompt and clear response regarding the delivery date and assurances that I will not be charged for shipping. This experience has been frustrating, and I am eager for a resolution.

I purchased a sofa that comes in three parts. The store told me I could take 2 parts home and would be emailed once the 3rd piece was in stock, which was supposed to take only a week. It has now been over 2 weeks, and I have not received any notification about the missing piece. I have called multiple times but still have no sofa to assemble. Specifically, I am missing the chaise for the Bomstad Black Friheten Sleeper Sofa. Despite having all the necessary tools, I cannot start building the rest of the sofa. The item is out of stock online and at my local stores in Woodbridge and College Park, but it is available in Arizona Tempe. I urgently need assistance as I was assured the missing piece would arrive promptly, yet I am left with an incomplete sofa. I would appreciate if they could arrange delivery since I cannot wait any longer to have the complete furniture.

Hello, I placed a phone order for curbside pick-up at the Richmond, BC, Canada store on July 10, [redacted]. The order number was [redacted]04 with a pick-up date of July 11, [redacted] in the evening. However, I arrived on July 12, [redacted] in the morning and experienced issues. Despite speaking with three IKEA employees, my order could not be located. They assured me of a refund to my Mastercard, but as of now, I haven't received it. The order total was $93.49. My husband purchased a Belkant desk for our son's student bedroom. Unfortunately, during assembly, he accidentally inserted one of the screws for the adjustable height mechanism upside down. This has caused it to be stuck, making it impossible to finish building the desk. Given that this desk was not inexpensive, and our son, being a student, cannot afford to replace it, we are hoping for assistance. Our son is in Manchester, while we are in Ireland, but we have provided him with a copy of the proof of purchase. The article number for the desk legs/frame is [redacted]7. I'm experiencing an issue with my kitchen orders. Today, only one of the two orders, the larger one containing all the units, was delivered as scheduled. The missing order relates to my new kitchen as well. The order numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. I contacted customer service and received a response explaining a system error has caused the delay. I was assured Ikea Kitchen Services would reach out with a resolution, but I am yet to hear from them. This delay is not only causing inconvenience but also financial loss. I am extremely dissatisfied with Ikea. I placed an online order on August 8th. Despite the website confirming delivery for August 12th to my location outside of Calgary, on August 10th, I was informed that they couldn't deliver to my area. I requested a refund as I hadn't received any items. Despite assurances, my credit card has not been refunded as of August 22nd. Their phone lines are constantly busy, and I have had no luck reaching anyone for assistance. I will now attempt to provide feedback through their online form and Facebook page since there is no available email contact. I am simply looking to have my $[redacted].02 refunded promptly.

I drove an hour to IKEA after seeing on the app that my items were in stock. Despite the long journey in difficult conditions due to wildfires and a pandemic, I waited an additional hour to enter. Disappointingly, both items were not available as indicated on the app. The inventory labels showed them as "temporarily unavailable." It's frustrating that the stock information was inaccurate. I hope IKEA can improve this issue and perhaps consider refunding me for the expenses incurred on gas and tolls since the desk and chair may not be restocked soon.

Hello, I have made numerous attempts through various channels to cancel my Ikea order due to a design change making the cabinets I ordered the wrong size. Despite repeated calls to various extensions and filling out the online form, I have been unsuccessful in canceling my nearly $[redacted] order. An XPO driver unexpectedly arrived with my delivery, and after explaining my situation, he cancelled the order without providing any confirmation or delivering the merchandise - a loss of over $[redacted]. Contacting XPO only redirected me back to Ikea. I have escalated the issue by disputing the charge with Capital One in the hope of resolution. I recently purchased the Fullen vanity with the Talleviken sink, which includes the Rinnen pipes. However, I encountered an issue during installation. The main drain pipe in my wall is 1.5 inches, while the sink pipe is 1.25 inches, requiring an adapter that was not provided. Despite visiting multiple plumbing stores, I have been unable to find the necessary adapter, and it was not mentioned in the store or the instructions. Unfortunately, I have already disposed of my old sink, preventing me from reinstalling it. I am extremely unhappy with the service from Ikea. I placed an online order on August 8th. The delivery was scheduled for August 12th, but on August 10th, I received a call stating that they could not deliver to my area outside of Calgary. I requested a refund since I never received the items. I contacted them again a few days later when I did not see the credit on my credit card. Despite multiple attempts to reach them by phone, I have had no success in getting a response. As of today, August 24th, I have not received my refund of $[redacted].02. I am frustrated and just want my money back.

I received the wrong items in my order. My Order number is [redacted]. I got 1x Ekedalen table top, 2x Ekedalen table legs, and extra hardware packages. The Knislinge couch I ordered was missing, replaced by an extra set of table legs. This mix-up is frustrating, especially after the hassle I faced trying to place the order due to payment issues on the website. I had to wait for nearly two hours to order it over the phone. As a new homeowner without much furniture, I was really looking forward to having a table and a couch, but now I only have a table. It's disappointing and inconvenient.

On July 6, [redacted], I placed an order ([redacted]45) for a sofa that was scheduled for delivery on August 8th. Despite taking the day off work to receive it, the delivery never arrived. On August 10th, Ikea notified me via email that the sofa I ordered a month prior was out of stock and would not be delivered. This was disappointing as I recently moved and have no furniture. On August 21, the SÖDERHAMN sofa (item #[redacted].[redacted].50) became available, so I placed a new order ([redacted]72) with a delivery date of October 12, [redacted]. I am contacting to verify the availability of the sofa, ensure timely delivery, and request expedited shipping due to the previous delay. Moreover, I have yet to receive a refund for the initial out-of-stock order ([redacted]45) which I cancelled. I appreciate your assistance as I have already missed a day of work waiting for the undelivered item. Thank you for your help.

1. I recently made a purchase and mistakenly ordered a bedframe instead of just a headboard. I have emailed Ikea to request a cancellation due to being unable to reach them via phone. 2. There is one item missing for my bedroom set that is currently unavailable for delivery. I hope Ikea can ensure I receive it when it's back in stock. 3. If I proceed with this order, I would appreciate being able to choose a different delivery date, as I couldn't find an option for that. I missed a callback and am running out of time to settle this; otherwise, I will need to cancel the order through Visa.

I received my package today, but unfortunately, the most expensive item, the RANDGRAS gray stripe duvet cover & pillowcases in Full/Queen size, is missing. My order number is [redacted]89. I paid the balance with a gift card and debit Visa. I am not looking for a refund; instead, I am hoping the item can be shipped to me. The packing slip shows that only 7 items were packed and shipped, while my online order status claims that all 8 items were sent. I am baffled by this discrepancy. It is frustrating to think that I might have to wait several more weeks to resolve this issue, especially since receiving the incomplete order already took over a month. I have attempted to reach out by phone, but due to the high call volume, I keep getting disconnected. Email contact has also been unsuccessful as the only option provided on the website is to cancel orders, which is not what I want. I simply desire to receive the missing duvet set that I purchased and paid for.

I am attempting to make a purchase for kitchen cabinets online. After choosing a delivery date, an error message appears during payment stating "cannot retrieve payment options." It is essential to complete the payment to take advantage of the tax-free weekend in MA, saving approximately $[redacted] on our order. Despite trying multiple devices and browsers, the same error persists, indicating a problem with the payment portal. My desk was scheduled for delivery on 8/24/20. I took the day off for it, but there were delays. I rescheduled for 8/31/20, but then it was pushed to 8/30/20. After waiting all day, the delivery did not happen. XPO then called me mistakenly. After several frustrating calls with Kareem and India, I tried to cancel my order on 8/31/20, but got disconnected. I just want to cancel this order.
