I made a purchase on July 12th with order number [redacted]36 at 1:07pm EDT for home delivery. I also paid an extra $50 for shipping. The initial estimated delivery date of Aug. 4th kept changing, and I have only received part of one item from my order of four. This is completely unacceptable. I've been unable to reach a customer service representative as the provided number does not allow for holding and keeps disconnecting me. The lack of service is disappointing. While I understand the current challenges, failing to deliver items ordered a month in advance undermines my confidence in IKEA. I am requesting a full cancellation of the order and a refund, including the shipping fee, due to the incomplete delivery. I am willing to return the partial item received to a store if necessary.

Order number [redacted]67 - I purchased a blue/grey Brunkrissla King size duvet cover on sale for $16.99 for pick up. Despite not receiving the email confirmation to pick it up, I was told it was put back in stock. Now I'm asked to pay full price plus shipping if I want it. I spoke to a customer service rep who had no solution. I've not been able to escalate this to a manager yet. I shouldn't have to pay full price due to their mistake. Given Covid and my severe asthma, I can't risk going to the store. I just want the duvet cover without paying full price. Hello, I recently purchased a grey Hemnes 8-drawer chest and wanted to add matching bedside cabinets to my order before delivery. Due to lockdown restrictions, I couldn't go to the store in Glasgow to pick them up. I was informed that I would need to place a new order for the bedside cabinets, incurring additional delivery charges. I tried to order them later for pickup or delivery but couldn't find them available. I noticed a similar product on the website, product code [redacted].[redacted].61, in a different shade of grey. Even these are now unavailable online. The original product I bought, 8-drawer chest with order number [redacted], has a product number [redacted].[redacted].06. I've visited the IKEA Carson store multiple times to purchase the LINNMON / ADILS white table [redacted].[redacted].39, but each time I'm told the legs are out of stock. Due to Covid protocols, I had to wait 45 minutes each time I visited. Despite this, the sales reps informed me that [redacted] sets of legs were already sold out. I've been there three times already. I suggested paying in advance and getting a notification when the item is available for pick up, but the sales reps declined and advised me to return. They mentioned that some individuals are buying large quantities of legs, causing the shortage. I simply need one desk for my daughter who is going to college. It would be helpful if IKEA could limit the number of legs one person can buy or provide the option to order the desk with legs online or in-store and receive a notification when it's ready for pick up.

I made a purchase on July 18 with an initially scheduled delivery date of August 7. However, I started receiving calls around August 4-5 informing me of a new delivery time on August 6 between 9-1. Unfortunately, I missed their calls at 9:30 and after reaching out, I was informed of a failed delivery attempt. Despite assurances of a callback for a re-attempt, I never received one. Contacting customer service only resulted in a new delivery date of August 14. To my surprise, I later received an email stating the revised delivery date is now September 3. Unfortunately, reaching customer service has been difficult due to long wait times on the phone. Given the delays, I'm considering picking up my items at a store nearby as two months for three items is unreasonable. What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

Hello, I purchased an IKEA queen-size bed last November. In the spring, I moved to a smaller space and realized the bed was too large for the bedroom. I intended to return it but couldn't due to COVID-related closures. The bed is in pristine condition, but I misplaced the receipt during the move. I can provide the credit card transaction as proof of purchase. Despite not having the receipt, am I able to return the bed within the [redacted]-day return window? If the store had been open when I planned to return it, I would have the receipt. I appreciate your assistance.

My friend and I assembled the Ekedalen bar table following the instructions provided. Upon flipping it over, we noticed a significant chip on one corner and the tabletop material was lifting. The item number is [redacted].[redacted].22. I kindly request a replacement tabletop free of charge due to the damage. This is the only piece I have unboxed from my recent furniture purchase. Tomorrow, I will have someone available to assist with any additional issues that may arise regarding the furniture. Additionally, I purchased a new pair of green block out curtains with silver accents from Ikea, but the packaging has been discarded. When hanging the curtains, I noticed a flaw where a thread seems to be missing, not affecting the curtain's edge. I will attach photos of both the table and the curtains for reference. It would be greatly appreciated if the curtains could be brought along with the replacement tabletop, as I am disabled and have difficulty assembling items on my own.

I noticed on your website that I can choose a delivery date and a 4-hour time slot. Could you clarify if the delivery is made to the lobby of the building or directly to the condo unit? Ensuring punctual delivery is crucial for me as I need to reserve the elevator in advance, making changes difficult. Hello, I have an urgent matter regarding the gift cards issued for the return of items from Hall & Moskow (Hillside LLC) on 8/13/[redacted]. We received a refund for the MasterCards but misplaced the other credit cards (Visa, etc.) and were issued store credit by IKEA Returns. I purchased two large wardrobes around 2-3 years ago and had them delivered due to their size. The sales person mentioned a 6-10 year return policy if something went wrong. I cannot find the receipt, but I was informed that Ikea would have my purchase details. Unfortunately, both wardrobes have broken drawers and one collapsed. The quality of the wood is poor, and I would like them picked up for return. I visited Ikea, but the wait was too long, so the staff suggested using live chat for assistance. I visited the West Chester, Ohio store to purchase a specific love seat for my fiancé. After waiting in a long line, I finally found the last Ektorp love seat in the aisle but couldn't locate the material cover. The gentleman at the information desk informed me they were out of covers until after September. I asked if I could get a discount since there were no covers available. He said I could receive the discount at the register. However, at register 19, the employee had to call the manager because she couldn't provide the discount. The manager explained that the gentleman at the desk couldn't authorize discounts and declined to offer me one for a new item. I expressed my disappointment, but she stood firm. Despite multiple hours spent at the store, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed without the love seat I had come for.

Good morning, I purchased a bed with order number P-[redacted]6 on 07/10/[redacted] and it was delivered on 07/27/[redacted]. Upon delivery, I immediately informed the carrier that the cardboard was torn, and a piece of the bed was completely ruined. The carrier took some photos and said they would inform you. The bed is still packaged as it was delivered. I contacted you on 07/27 right after delivery and via Messenger on 05/07 but have not received any response regarding my order. I bought this bed because I had guests at home who have already left and had to rent a house. Do I need to wait for a response from you or should I consult a lawyer to request full compensation? Hello! I need your help regarding a return. I have just received a mattress as a gift from my sister-in-law. Unfortunately, the mattress has the wrong measurements, so I need to return it and have the payment she made credited back to her. Her name is Kristina Buddee Roos as shown in the attached pictures. Order number [redacted]61 was placed on August 1st, [redacted], with a promised delivery date of August 17th, [redacted]. However, after waiting all day, I discovered that the delivery couldn't be completed as one item is out of stock. This lack of prior information about the stock out is disappointing. Despite contacting customer care twice today, no one from the store has updated me on the status as promised. This situation is frustrating and unexpected from IKEA. I've wasted my time waiting and need an update on my order or confirmation to cancel it. It would be appreciated if IKEA could communicate better with customers in such cases. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate authorities for consideration.

I need help installing a SKENINGE bar light. The wiring has 2 black wires (power) and 2 white wires (return), but I only have a single black and white wire available. The installation diagram indicates each wire should be connected to a separate black or white wire. Do I require 2 circuits to connect the light? Can I simply twist the black to black and white to white, then use marionettes to connect to my house wire? I am puzzled by the presence of 2 sets of wires.

I need to replace two items due to inaccurate instructions provided. I was unable to assemble them promptly as screws for the drawers were missing, causing a delay. Trying to assemble them, the first drawer got stuck. Research showed that the top drawer should be placed first, contrary to the instructions provided, resulting in damage when I tried to correct it. I am frustrated by the incorrect instructions, the damaged item, and the lengthy process of returning heavy items. I would prefer to have replacements delivered and the old drawers picked up as I am drained and have other pressing matters to attend to.

I contacted Ikea customer service this morning regarding buying a corner base cabinet shelf ([redacted].[redacted].22) and inquiring about the warranty status of countertops ([redacted].[redacted].41, [redacted].[redacted].08) I bought from the Burlington store in [redacted]. The representative advised me to reach out to the Burlington store for assistance with the return. After the call, I searched for their phone number online, only to discover it was the same number I had just called. This meant I would have to wait on hold again to talk to the same representative. Despite oiling my countertops, they warped and developed slight separations in two places. As I did not misuse them, I am exploring if I can have the countertops replaced under warranty instead of purchasing new ones from elsewhere. If I can obtain replacement countertops from Burlington, located approximately 1 hour away from my St. Catharines home, I plan to buy the shelf there and collect everything in one visit.
