I expected the delivery yesterday between 12-1 pm, but the driver had van trouble. He called to notify me about the delay and tried to deliver it later that day. Unfortunately, it didn't happen as he promised. He called at 5 pm to apologize and rescheduled for today. By 1 pm, I hadn't received any updates, only a call from a lady about an afternoon delivery. After taking time off work, the delivery arrived, but it was the wrong order. I've tried contacting customer service with no success. All I want now is a refund.

I placed an order for an item that I was told was discontinued in the store but available at the warehouse. The delivery was scheduled for today. After not receiving my order, I called to inquire and was informed that the item was not in stock, leading to the cancellation of my order. They assured me a refund by week's end. Shortly after, I received a call from the Sunrise store asking for my card details to process the refund. I feel misled as I was initially informed the item was at the warehouse, only to later find out it wasn't. I was disappointed to not receive any communication regarding the cancellation or delivery status without my own follow-up. I was also surprised about the request for my credit card number for the refund since I was told it was already being processed. Overall, this experience was disappointing and I expected better service and communication from the company.

My spouse and I are preparing to retire and are searching for a home that aligns with our needs. We are interested in a unique approach – purchasing furniture, designing the layout, and having a builder construct a home tailored to our specifications. We are drawn to IKEA's interior products and envision a collaboration where we provide the furnishings and design, and a builder brings it to life. This innovative concept differs from the current market standard of buying a pre-built home and then searching for suitable furniture after the fact. We appreciate IKEA's stylish yet practical interior designs across various living spaces, such as the kitchen, living room, dining area, and bedrooms. We wonder if IKEA would consider partnering with a builder to implement this idea if we were to procure all interior furnishings from them. Many of our acquaintances have expressed interest in a similar concept, believing it would offer a more personalized and cost-effective solution. We are eager to explore the possibility of IKEA constructing a home furnished exclusively with their products. Thank you. James and Vivian C. from Virginia, USA

I moved into a house with a fairly new and well-maintained Ikea kitchen 7 years ago. I've noticed two doors and a narrow panel have water damage at the bottom and would like them replaced. I visited Ikea, but they no longer have my kitchen in store. I heard they might have some stock for situations like mine, and Ikea kitchens typically have a 25-year guarantee. I could date the kitchen based on its style, probably not older than five years, so I hope to be covered. If not, I am willing to pay for the replacements rather than refurbishing the whole kitchen unnecessarily. I value sustainability and would prefer not to create unnecessary waste. I've tried contacting customer service via phone and live chat but have been unsuccessful so far.

I bought a Havsta shelving unit with base (article number [redacted].[redacted].33) at the Elizabeth, New Jersey store ([redacted]) today. When I got home, I realized I was given the wrong second box. I am unable to go back due to no longer having a car, so I would appreciate it if the correct second box could be delivered to my home.

I have already emailed customer service several times about this issue, but I am yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. Consumer Protection advised me to reach out to the Head Office, but I do not have the address. My kitchen, which is 8 years old, is experiencing peeling and crazing on the cupboard and drawer fronts. Although we lack proof of purchase, we do have receipts for the electrical items and benchtop fitting, all dated 24.11.[redacted]. Unfortunately, the bank does not retain records beyond 7 years. We are in a difficult situation and hope for a solution as not everyone retains receipts indefinitely.

I had Traemand install Ikea kitchen cabinets in Queensway Etobicoke. The installation took place on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1. At the end of the November 1 installation, setting up the under-counter lighting proved to be challenging. The cabinet installation was excellent, but there was an issue with the hanging wires for the under-counter light. I shared photos of the problem with Irina Agronovsky and Edy Rodriguez at Traemand. Although no electrical work was needed, the wires should have been neatly tucked away. I have contacted Kim through Ikea's Refunds and Return clerk at kiosk no 5, with no response. I also emailed Traemand but have not heard back as of Wednesday, November 20. My contractor is awaiting a solution to this issue.

I am disappointed by the delay in receiving my order. Despite being informed of its delivery through an email, the package has not arrived, leading to frustration. Inconsistencies between order numbers add to the confusion. Order number [redacted]52 was allegedly delivered on 11/14, as indicated in an email, while another email mentions order number [redacted]91. The previous order, referenced by case #[redacted]5, was canceled over the phone due to address adjustment issues, but the order number is not provided in any correspondence. The lack of response from customer support after multiple attempts is troubling. I request either a partial refund, specifically for shipping costs, or expedited shipping for the overdue order. This subpar experience with IKEA prompts me to reconsider future purchases from the company.

Yesterday afternoon, I visited the Southampton store from Guildford looking to purchase 2 gloss white 4-door Malm dressers, but they were out of stock. The checkout lady advised me to visit the information desk and return to pay. However, upon checking with the staff at the desk, I was suggested to order online due to the item not being available in-store. Despite the long journey, I was informed later that the dresser could only be ordered in-store, leaving me feeling frustrated. The lack of assistance from the information desk staff was disappointing, causing inconvenience for my daughter's upcoming room makeover for her birthday early next month. It's discouraging to have to consider returning to the store physically to place the order directly. I'm hopeful for a resolution that eliminates the need for another trip to the store.

During my recent trip to visit my friend in Athens, I planned to buy a few items for her, including a white replacement toilet seat. I checked the local store's price online and saw it was €36. However, being from the UK, I remembered buying the same item for much less back home. I found it on a UK website for £19, which with the current exchange rate, makes it approximately €15 cheaper compared to Athens. Considering the significant difference in living costs between the UK and Greece, I am curious how IKEA justifies such a steep price variation for the same product. It's hard to believe logistics alone could explain this stark contrast. One would think that the UK, with its higher living expenses and wages, would have the higher price.

I recently purchased the PSX Wardrobes with sliding mirror doors, drawers, and shelves. Unfortunately, after assembly, I realized that the drawers are inaccessible due to the sliding doors. The sales assistant assured me there would be no issue. I would like to return 1 set of sliding doors, 2 drawers, and the mirrors in exchange for 2 baskets and hinged mirror doors for 2x750mm PAX Units. I seem to have misplaced all the necessary documents. My details are as follows: Kalpna Khatri at [redacted] Alan Moss Road, Loughborough, LE11 4LT, contact number [redacted]0.

I recently assembled a Brimnes bed and realized that I am missing a crucial part from step 34 and 35 of the instructions. This part is essential for holding the "plattebodem" in Dutch in the middle of the bed frame. Everything else is assembled correctly, but without this piece, I cannot place the mattress on the frame. I purchased the bed from Ikea Haarlem in the Netherlands and was wondering if I could come in to collect the missing part tomorrow on Monday, 2/12/[redacted].

Dear Manager, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and the incorrect information provided by the staff. When I visited your shop to purchase a small table, I inquired about the installation process, and I was assured by the staff that it was straightforward and didn't require any tools. However, upon opening the box at my shop before an event, I discovered that I needed a screwdriver for assembly, causing significant issues and delays. I had to seek installation assistance outside the mall, as your staff then informed me that they could do the installation but would charge AED [redacted], despite initially stating it was tool-free. This experience has left me extremely disappointed with the service and lack of accountability when I sought help at the store.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. Yesterday, we bought a MICKE desk ([redacted]3 [redacted]) at IKEA Fishers, IN, for $89.99. We reside in Newburgh, Indiana, 3.5 hours away. The desk was meant to be black, but upon unpacking, we found parts in white instead. We were informed we need to return it to the store, a 3.5-hour drive. If we knew this was IKEA's way of handling errors, we would not have made the purchase. Given this is not our mistake, we believe IKEA should provide prepaid shipping for the return. If we end up responsible for your error, it will deter us from shopping at IKEA again. Discovering wrong parts after unboxing is upsetting, but having to rectify it at our cost is unacceptable on many levels.

Good morning, I wanted to share that I received my order ([redacted]) yesterday. Unfortunately, a part of the item was missing, making it impossible for us to assemble everything. This has been quite a disappointment, especially since this was my first order with you. My living room is still in disarray, and the delayed delivery of the spare part is not helping. I hope you can understand my frustration and offer some form of compensation. Kind regards, Thapeshana

I bought 5 Ribba frames from your Belfast location, but discovered symbols stamped on the Perspex once home. After arranging for a replacement, the new frames had the same issue. I find it baffling that anyone would want a picture frame with 16 symbols on the cover. Could you clarify this situation? I've been on hold with your phone line for 40 minutes. I reached out on Facebook and received one response after 3 days, but have heard nothing since. This has been the most frustrating customer experience I've ever had.

I am reaching out regarding a recent delivery of an Elvarl 1 wardrobe on 1/12/19 at 8:15 am, with order reference [redacted], which my wife Janice Cox placed. We reside at 16 Bincleaves Road, Weymouth Dorset DT4 8RL. Missing pieces for parcels 8 and 9 were not included in the delivery, only parcels 1 to 7 were received. Despite informing the driver immediately after the delivery, no action has been taken. My wife left messages on the driver's phone but has not received any response. She also submitted a missing items report to your office but has not received any acknowledgment. The lack of communication is concerning as we urgently require these wardrobes. I kindly request an update on resolving this issue promptly.

I signed up for IKEA Family this past weekend and set up my account. However, I keep getting an error message when trying to enter my password. I have attempted to reset my password by selecting "Forgot My Password" multiple times in the last 2 days, but I never receive the email to reset it. I even tried creating a new account, thinking I may have entered my email incorrectly, only to be notified that an account already exists with that email address. I appreciate your assistance in resetting my password so I can log in to my account. Thank you.

My recent order, number [redacted], was delivered today. While my invoice details received via email are accurate, the delivery and delivery note contained a mistake. I had ordered and paid for one pegboard [redacted]5 and one pegboard combination [redacted]8. However, I received two pegboards ([redacted]5) instead of one of each. I believe a reasonable solution would be for you to send me the missing accessories that should have been included in the pegboard combination. Furthermore, I kindly request that you contact me before dispatching a replacement. As I live 2.5 - 3 hours away from the nearest Ikea, I overlooked adding a small item to my initial order. I would like to pay for the additional item and have it included in the upcoming shipment to save myself from any inconvenience. I anticipate your prompt response.

Hello, I have dyslexia and accidentally ordered silver curtain fittings instead of black ones for my delivery on Friday, December 6th. Can this mistake be corrected before the delivery? It was difficult to place the order due to my condition, so I hope to avoid canceling and reordering just for this color change.
