To whom it may concern,**I want to inform you about bad practice at the IKEA store in Belgrade, Serbia. I visited your store on Friday October ** in order to buy a furniture. *In the exchange office located on the ground floor of your store building, I intended to convert the euro into dinars, the domestic currency. To my great surprise, the exchange rate was about *% lower than the official exchange rate prescribed by the Central Bank of Serbia. When I complained to the IKEA staff I got the answer that the exchange office operates independently of IKEA and your company has nothing to do with it. I was surprised with that answer bearing in mind that the exchange office is in your facility, and there is no visible warning that IKEA is not responsible for the exchange rate.*The consequence of this inconvenience is that I did not make the planned purchase.*Since I'm a journalist foreign correspondent for decades I am always glad to equip my apartments with IKEA furniture. So it was the case in Brussels, Moscow and Beijing, but not yet in Belgrade. *I would be grateful if you could explain to me why it is in the interest of IKEA to punish customers in this way and to allow at the same time unfair third-party earnings under their roof. *Please reply.**Best regards, Vladimir Jokanovic
