We ordered an IKEA Pax Closet System and was provided with the option to select the desired delivery date options. Our selection was August *nd. We received a notification that the item was shipped at **:** *********. Delivery Method: TRUCK via STI. We were under the impression the delivery would be made on August *nd as we selected. August *rd I made several attempts to contact a customer service agent with IKEA to no avail. I even left a message (like this one) requesting a call back - never to receive one. ** On August *th, we finally received a phone call from a very rude scheduling receptionist for STI to schedule the delivery. Great! *Not many options were available - * in fact* that being August *th from **:**-*:**PM. ***We then received a phone call from STI at *:**PM August *th (** minutes left to deliver our items) only to be informed that the truck with our PAX Closet System has actually been broke down all day and in a shop in Denver, Colorado. We reside over * hours away from Denver. Why were we not contacted prior to ** minutes before *PM? I rearranged my entire work schedule in order to accommodate this delivery and I'm forced to do it again - for they "believe the truck will be fixed and they will leave Denver really really early in the morning for an early am delivery". ***Really?
