There were bugs in the boxes.i ordered new cushions for my sectional. When they arrived I couldn't get around to opening them right away and about a week and a half later I started getting bugs crawling on me at that point I started to investigate what was on my sectional as I use that for my bed when I discovered what they were I notified Ikea I also sent them pictures of the bugs I had to have an exterminator come out and he also saw the bed bugs in the boxes or on the boxes they had eggs live ones after this date the box is still have not been opened they've been sealed as recommended at first I kill was going to give me a brand new sectional or refund my money for the sectional and the ottoman when I sent them pictures they stop contacting me at all now I can't get them to return my calls or my emails
This was especially frustrating I am a disabled woman living by myself I have a very fixed income as I am on disability I do not have the extra expense to take care of the problem they brought into my home
They could make this right by refunding my money for the sectional refunding my money for the exterminators refunding my money for every expense that I have had to go through to get rid of these bugs
I bought my sectional last year may I had no problems with it I had no problems with bugs in my home when I ordered the new cushions May of this year **** that is when the problem started
I also bought the by bug spray and detergent to wash the covers and all because nobody would Come & Get It the sectional unless it was treated and wrapped up so I have that extra expense also
I have an issue with Ikea too
