The issue in GetHuman-barbkoum's own words
Delivery issue, partially fixed. Delivery date came and went, no delivery. Noted that shipping was to be through STI. Contacted STI, ***-***-****, agent looked up my delivery via IKEA order *, sent me to subsidiary delivery service, they told me that the delivery date is actually a "deliver BY" date, and not a hard date at all. (Delivery service tried to call me, but apparently did not leave a message, so they rescheduled it for "whenever we have a truck going to your area, probably about * weeks from now". ) That's rather ****-y! I doubt anything can be done at this point since the item is in the delivery company's warehouse. I would like IKEA to clarify what they mean by a delivery date--how difficult is it to add some text to a standardized email message? They could also give a phone * for the delivery service!
GetHuman-barbkoum did not yet indicate what Ikea should do to make this right.
