I believe I owe federal taxes for [redacted]. Last year, I arranged for the IRS not to withhold taxes so I could hire someone to review and revise my [redacted] tax return. Although we had an agreement for the revision, the state of Arkansas intercepted my refund, claiming I owe them for that year. Due to Covid-19 and not receiving my refund, I am unable to address this matter before the impending tax deadline. As a single mom who missed out on a stimulus payment, every bit of help counts. I suspect an error was made by my tax preparer that year. I never received a letter requesting additional information to resolve the matter. I kindly request a phone call to discuss potential solutions. I am available after 3 p.m. Thank you.

I attempted to file my taxes in early February but was informed by TurboTax that another person had already filed using my username. I reported this as identity theft and was advised to contact the FCC, local police, and the SSA due to being on Disability. I then submitted my paper taxes on February 12, but have not received any updates on my refund. The amount I am waiting for is not a typical refund but rather the first two stimulus checks from [redacted] that I never received, including the additional $[redacted] for the dependent credit. Please contact me for more information at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] (starting with an L, not an uppercase I). Thank you.

I received notice #[redacted] stating that our return was going to be $[redacted] less than expected. Upon reviewing our tax return, all information seems accurate. The notice mentioned issues related to dependent information, income limits, and computation errors. I used Taxslayer this year and encountered challenges. I would appreciate a call to discuss why the IRS thinks we owe $[redacted] less. Thank you. Best, Michael C.

I am in need of a [redacted] form for my earnings in [redacted] to provide to a loan company. Kindly send it to [redacted] Kresky Ave., Centralia, WA [redacted]. My name is Peggy Halvorsen. I would appreciate receiving this document promptly, as I require the loan to settle my bills. Unfortunately, there have been issues with someone misusing my Social Security payments and committing various crimes against me. I have been unable to resolve this with the Social Security office. I need to ensure my Social Security and stimulus checks come directly to me to avoid further problems. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

As a German citizen, I sought assistance from an acceptance agent in summer [redacted] to file my tax return after selling property in Idaho in [redacted]. The submission included an ITIN application and all required documents. However, in January [redacted], the IRS rejected my ITIN application due to missing information. Despite multiple attempts to reach the IRS for clarification, I have been unsuccessful. I find it challenging to wait on the phone and cannot afford to spend excessive amounts of money on hold. Each time I navigate through the automated voice system, the call disconnects before connecting me to a representative. The acceptance agent mentions additional charges for further assistance. I am at a loss and unsure of the next steps to resolve this issue.

Hello, I am Matthew Aponte and I am seeking guidance on handling my taxes. Despite my efforts, a previous employer, "Fairoak Industries," where I worked briefly, has not issued my W2 forms. I have made numerous attempts to contact them, including visiting their office, but have not received any response. The company is a contractor for Amazon, and the owner's name is likely Marcia. Unfortunately, I do not have her last name. Even after contacting Amazon, I was unable to obtain the necessary information as they are not directly associated with Fairoak Industries. I only received checks without any pay stubs indicating tax payments or deductions. Thank you, Matthew L Aponte

Hello, I am a college student seeking financial assistance. I completed my financial aid application in the summer of [redacted] and was asked to provide proof of non-filer status. Despite mailing the required form in July [redacted], I never received a response. Given the ongoing delays caused by COVID-19, I submitted another request but still did not hear back. After reaching out to the IRS website's chat support, I was advised to call. However, whenever I attempt to contact the provided number, I get disconnected due to high call volumes. I have tried calling, emailing, chatting online, and sending written requests but have had no success thus far. As a result, my college account is on hold, jeopardizing my financial aid. I am looking for guidance on alternative contact information to address this issue promptly.

I am experiencing an issue with my tax refund due to an error on the IRS's part. Despite providing my 1-year-old daughter's SSI information and confirming that my husband and I do not earn more than $56,[redacted] a year, my refund was still modified incorrectly. I have been attempting to reach a representative for two weeks now, but every time I call during your listed hours, I am told to call back later. I require two things urgently: either a callback at [redacted] or contact information for the manager in charge of tax return errors to resolve this matter promptly. Alternatively, I need to know where I can go in person for assistance. Additionally, if there is no option to leave a message when you are supposed to be available, I would like to know where I can file a complaint. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I need a resolution as soon as possible.

I filed my taxes with Tax-Free USA online on February 15th. Two days later, on February 17th, I received an acceptance letter from them. In the letter, I provided an account number and a routing number for the recovery rebate of my first two stimulus checks. However, I noticed that the tax return form has a different account number and routing number listed. I am concerned that this mix up may be the reason why I have not received my rebate yet. It has been over three months since I filed with Tax-Free USA.

I recently completed the ID verification process on March 3, [redacted] for my [redacted] tax return. Even though I was informed it could take up to 9 weeks, I called again after 7 weeks on May 21. The representative acknowledged the verification but mentioned it needed to undergo further review, possibly until August, which totals about [redacted] days. Waiting almost 6 months for my refund is incredibly frustrating, as many rely on this money for essential expenses like bills, food, and more. The delay is particularly challenging during these times of financial strain due to COVID-19. I expressed my concerns to the representative about the lengthy process and will now try to remain patient. Unfortunately, this situation has caused me stress, especially considering my health conditions. Next year, I might claim exempt to receive funds upfront rather than dealing with this tax refund uncertainty.

I submitted my taxes on February 25, [redacted], and have yet to receive my return or the third stimulus check. Whenever I contact them, they just say it's in the error department and provide no timeline or concrete answers. I've been waiting for 13 weeks and it's getting frustrating. Can I cancel and refile my return? I'm tired of the same responses every time I call. They keep saying they don't know when I'll get my refund. I'm at my wit's end. This is unlike any filing experience I've had before. No additional information has been requested from me. Thank you. - Destiny I.

Upon checking the IRS.gov website, I discovered that the payment I was supposed to receive was mistakenly deposited into an account ending in [redacted]. I did not authorize any account for this transaction, as I do not have one set up for payments. Last year, I was advised by a tax professional to report any suspicious activities on my account, which I did. I have received automated calls in the past that did not seem legitimate, so I flagged my number for security purposes. I am concerned about the mix-up with my payment and want to ensure the safety of my personal information.

I submitted my [redacted] tax return on April 6, [redacted] using H&R Block software, and it was successfully received by the IRS. The submission ID is [redacted][redacted]. However, I have yet to receive my refund. I am concerned about the delay and would like the IRS to provide an explanation for it. I am eagerly awaiting when the refund will be deposited into my bank account electronically. It has been almost two months, and I find this wait unusual. I believe that my refund is rightfully mine, and I am growing frustrated with the extended delay. I hope to receive clarity on the situation and receive my refund promptly.

I'm having trouble getting in touch with a live IRS representative! I'm trying to request free transcripts of my [redacted] tax returns from last year ([redacted]) and the current year ([redacted]) that I just filed. I also need to know if my State [redacted] tax returns are included with the Transcripts. Hopefully, the IRS can assist me by answering my questions over the phone and providing the necessary information.

After facing many challenges, we are addressing our back tax concerns. We engaged a CPA who filed returns based on outdated IRS information. I have since submitted corrected returns for 2[redacted], [redacted], filed [redacted] in January, and now awaiting resolution. In March, we were assigned a local agent but have had no communication despite my weekly messages. Upon checking, it shows [redacted] not filed, and I am concerned about potential liens due to the incorrect [redacted] filing, which should have resulted in a refund. We also missed the 2nd and 3rd stimulus payments. The estimated tax amount owed is significantly inaccurate, as we are actually owed a refund. I seek clarity on our current status and the next steps needed to correct these issues.

I recently sent in my [redacted] and [redacted] tax returns by mail on 3/25/[redacted]. I have not filed taxes since [redacted] or [redacted]. Whenever I try to e-file, my return gets rejected due to not remembering my IP PIN from the last return I filed in [redacted] or [redacted]. I am unable to access anything on the IRS website or create a new account. The "Where's My Refund" feature on the website does not provide any information on my mailed returns. I have been trying to contact the IRS by phone for 3 months without success. Even the IRS2Go app does not recognize my information. I want to know why my returns are delayed and why I cannot check their status. Financially, it has been tough for me, especially during the COVID pandemic. I mailed my returns to the IRS in Ogden, Utah. I am seeking assistance and clarification on my situation. Thank you. - Eric Sanders Date: 5/31/[redacted]

I made a mistake while trying to pay our [redacted] taxes with IRS. I sent a personal check for $3,[redacted].00 just before May 17th. Unfortunately, the check bounced because I forgot to transfer the money to my checking account in time. When I tried to pay again using PayPal on the IRS website, it charged my PayPal MasterCard instead of my checking account. I planned to use the $3,[redacted].00 in my checking account to pay back the MasterCard, but IRS successfully cashed the bounced check the second time. Now, IRS has received double the amount we owe, $6,[redacted].00. I need help sorting this out. Thank you, Carolyn J. Michael & Stephen A. Michael.

I have been struggling to reach a live person for assistance. While completing my student aid FAFSA form, I am facing difficulty with the IRS tool site link to verify my information. It is specifically asking for the address I provided on my [redacted] tax form, which I have inputted but is not being accepted. This is hindering my progress with the FAFSA application, and I am prepared to provide a detailed history of all addresses I've resided at in the past 4 years. I am even willing to facilitate a FaceTime call to verify my identity. I am eager to finalize this FAFSA application as it is the final step before commencing my online studies at ASU on June 30th, for which I require aid in the form of a Pell Grant. The system's refusal to accept my address for verification is causing tremendous frustration, and despite attempting to contact support for days, I am still faced with this lingering issue concerning the [redacted] tax form address input.

I submitted my tax return on 3/3/21 through e-file. After filing, I discovered an error and was advised to wait for my return to be processed before filing an amended return. Despite earlier guidance that the IRS would automatically adjust for the $10,[redacted] UI exclusion, I recently received a processed return notification indicating the exclusion was not included. After contacting IRS customer service multiple times, I was advised to claim it on next year's return if not resolved this year. Would it be advisable to reach out to my local Taxpayer Advocate office in this situation?

I sent my [redacted] federal income tax return to the IRS on March 15, [redacted]. I have had an online account for a couple of years now and I log in to check my return status. Currently, it shows that my return has not been processed yet. I am trying to confirm if the IRS has received my return. I am not expecting a refund but actually owe them $[redacted] according to my calculations. I am eager to pay what I owe once they process my return. I have tried contacting the IRS by email twice in the past month, but I have not received any responses. I appreciate any help to confirm if the IRS has received my [redacted] tax return. Thank you for your assistance.
