The issue in GetHuman-berpatgr's own words
In **** my wife and I both rolled over *** K funds into qualified IRA,s. However this year in June I discovered only one of them was rolled over correctly, mine. Hers was rolled over incorrectly. Since June I have been in constant contact with our broker and tax cpa alerting them of this issue. As of the end of July Fidelity the company involved has now rolled over the fund into an appropriate IRA. At the time the funds were distributed from Merrill Lynch Bank of America to Fidelity. merrill correctly issued a ****R with code G in box *. At the time when we retired in **** my wife was ** and we would never have taken any of those funds as she was not ** and ***. We have never paid any taxes on either fund as I was of the impression both were still tax deferred accounts and we have never withdrawn any of the funds. I would like to set up a meeting with an agent in Denver Colorado to come in and bring all the supporting documentation that shows an error was made. I have no desire to let this exist now that I am aware it was done correctly. Can you please help me and direct me as to how I can go about setting up an appointment with an agent to bring all of this documentation and putting this matter in order? Thank you Dennis Greaser
