I submitted our [redacted] tax refund on February 9, [redacted]. In March, we got a letter saying the processing would take another 60 days without an explanation. We've waited three months now and are eager to receive the refund. I need to know why the delay and when we can expect the money. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. My name is M. Campbell, and we filed Married filing jointly.

Hello, I need help with a tax matter regarding claiming my son. Following my divorce in [redacted], our decree states we alternate claiming him, but his father has claimed him annually. I submitted the [redacted] divorce paperwork, not Form [redacted], as advised by an IRS agent. I'm unsure if it's being addressed and may need to resend. I included his father's social security number. Thank you. Janelle M.

I am in need of submitting a 1095a form for my [redacted] taxes as per the IRS' request. However, the healthcare marketplace informed me that they do not have a form for me. They suggested that my McLaren insurance, which I have had since December [redacted], might have been connected to a previous insurance plan with Medicaid. Nonetheless, Medicaid stated that I do not have coverage with them either, leaving me puzzled. I have diligently paid my McLaren bills for over a year and utilized the insurance for medical treatments without issue. I am stuck on how to demonstrate to the IRS that I had continuous health coverage throughout [redacted] without access to the necessary 1095A or 1095B forms. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I sent my [redacted] federal tax return on 3/14/19, expecting a $[redacted].00 refund through direct deposit. My state refund for the same period has been received and deposited. However, I have not yet received my federal refund. Attempts to check the status online or by phone have been unsuccessful. Despite correct information input, no details are available. Contacting an IRS agent failed due to high call volumes. I am seeking confirmation of receipt and processing of my federal return, as well as an update on my refund status. Thank you.

I would like to know the status of my refund. My wife has been doing my taxes using the TurboTax app for 2 years, and since I don't know English, I think she might be scamming me because she never informs me about anything. I checked with my relatives in New York, and they said that we can't claim separately since we are married, but my wife does receive her refunds separately. She makes me believe that she is doing it for me, but I never receive anything. I have all the evidence that she is not doing it, but in 2 years, I haven't received anything. I feel helpless and don't know what to do.

The IRS recently left a message on my phone accusing me of something I can't recall. They called me twice. Could you also investigate if I may be a victim of identity theft or if my social security number has been compromised? I believe the IRS accused me of tax fraud, even though my Social Security income is below the taxable amount. My income from Social Security barely meets poverty levels and has not increased much annually, even with cost-of-living adjustments. Please verify with the Social Security Administration that my income is below the taxable threshold for last year and all previous years. Kindly clarify why you left two messages on my phone mentioning possible legal action. Thank you. Best regards, B. T. Go

I recently received letters from the IRS for both my husband and myself, confirmed through Informed Delivery with USPS. Unfortunately, our mail has been lost, causing concerns regarding potential identity theft if the letters contained our social security numbers. Despite filing complaints with USPS, I am uncertain about the contents of the letters and seek guidance on whether the IRS can assist or also report the matter to USPS. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! I wanted to share my recent tax situation with you. In April, I visited a tax office to file my taxes, and the tax preparer informed me that my ex-husband had claimed our children, even though they do not live with him and I have primary custody. After seeking advice from domestic relations, I was advised to file for the children, as they told my ex to do the same. The tax preparer submitted an amended return for my children a month ago, along with the court order stating that I should claim them. However, when I checked the website, I could not find any updates on the status of my amended return. I just want to follow up and ensure that everything is being processed correctly. Thank you for your assistance.

After receiving a 5071C letter from the IRS, I reached out to confirm my identity and return amount. Recently, I received a cashier's check for $[redacted].57 from the IRS when I should have gotten $5,[redacted]. I contacted Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, the issuer, and they acknowledged sending the lower amount than what was due to me. I am seeking assistance to uncover what happened to the rest of my refund. Additionally, I want to determine if someone might have committed fraud by diverting part of my return to another account without my approval. Any guidance on resolving this issue is appreciated.

I submitted my [redacted] tax return as married filing jointly, but the entire refund of $5,[redacted] was taken for MY student loan debt. This has happened before, and we filled out form [redacted] as I am the one with the debt, not my spouse. In the past, we resolved the issue in [redacted], after submitting the injured spouse form, but unfortunately, the same thing occurred in [redacted]. After correcting the form due to a non-signature issue, it was sent back to the IRS for processing on January 9, [redacted]. It has been 4 and a half months, and we have not received any updates. We are hoping to get my spouse's refund as we did previously. I am seeking information on the current status. Thank you.

I have made multiple attempts to reach out regarding my [redacted] tax return status. After submitting the necessary EIC form in April, I was informed it would take 8 weeks to process. However, I recently discovered that I am only receiving $[redacted] instead of the expected $[redacted]. During my calls, I have experienced disconnections and varying explanations for the discrepancy. The delays and lack of clarity on my return have left me frustrated. I am seeking assistance to understand why there is a substantial difference in the amount received and why it is taking so long to resolve this issue.

My spouse and I submitted a joint tax return with our tax agent on February 14, [redacted]. Due to my student loan debt, the IRS withheld all our tax refund, which belonged mostly to my spouse. We filled out an injured spouse form, but upon receiving it back, we realized we had forgotten to sign the forms originally. We signed them and sent everything back to the IRS on January 9, [redacted]. It has been four months since then, and we haven't received any updates. My spouse should have received the refund via paper check. However, we urgently need the money as we plan to move. I would appreciate any information on the current status of our tax refund.

I used TurboTax to file my taxes and submitted them correctly via e-filing on March 7, [redacted]. It's already May 13, [redacted], and I'm still waiting for my refund. Recently, I received a letter explaining the delay, stating that I need to provide proof of continuous insurance coverage throughout last year. Although I have had insurance and maintained it since receiving my W-2s, I wasn't prompted to provide this during the filing process. I'm unsure about the next steps to ensure I have the necessary documentation for my refund. My son and I are eagerly waiting for the tax refund as it's crucial for us to secure our own place, instead of relying on the hospitality of friends and family.

My taxes were approved on January 28th, but then put on hold due to identity theft concerns. After resolving that issue, there was a discrepancy with my taxes, and my employer had to send a duplicate. Despite not being at fault, I've been struggling to get updates. It's been weeks since I've heard anything, even after reaching out to my advocate numerous times. My money has been in limbo since February 14th, and I'm completely in the dark about the status of my refund. I desperately need assistance with this frustrating situation. My name is David Carter, and you can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you for any help you can provide.

I am Brian Roydhouse, and I am seeking guidance on tax compliance as a foreign owner of a US disregarded entity based in Australia. My small LLC, Gold Starr Distributors LLC, sells goods on Amazon US and is registered in Wyoming. I need assistance with IRS tax forms [redacted] and [redacted]. I would like to ensure I am fulfilling all my tax obligations. Additionally, I am curious about the US-Australia Income treaty's implications on my tax liabilities. Do I only pay taxes in Australia? How soon should I complete these forms, and are there any other forms needed? Lastly, I am planning to dissolve my LLC. Is there a specific form I should submit to the IRS to notify them of the business closure?

Regarding the tax [redacted] return filed for [redacted], for Joel M. joint with Viviana S., I faced issues closing an inherited IRA. I submitted papers mid-December [redacted] to close it by 12-31-[redacted]. Despite efforts, my brokerage couldn't process it in time due to stock liquidation delays. Consequently, I accounted for the tax in my [redacted] return, pre-paying the [redacted] liability. Unable to reach the IRS through chat, I plan to visit the IRS office in Smithtown, NY, during my stay from May 23 to June 10. I need advice on securing an appointment. If possible, please contact me via email at [redacted]. Thank you.

Recently, I discovered that my father, experiencing early onset dementia, has not filed a federal tax return since [redacted]. Concerned about their finances, I hold a durable power of attorney to assist. I am uncertain about the missing tax filings from [redacted] to [redacted] and wish to seek the IRS's help in determining which years are absent and confirming the reported income. Despite their modest income, there has been no notification from the IRS regarding the overdue filings, raising further concerns.

I am seeking information regarding the status of my refund. Each time I contact the IRS, I receive conflicting responses. During my most recent conversation, I was informed that I would either receive a letter or have the refund deposited into my bank account by May 20th, [redacted]. This marks the fourth deadline I have been provided with. The explanations seem vague and unspecific, lacking details relevant to my case. I am in need of precise information concerning my specific circumstances. How can I expedite the processing of my return? What documents should I provide to resolve any issues with the IRS? I submitted my return on February 2nd, [redacted], and I believe there should be no significant delay in verification. My financial situation is straightforward, and I encounter no complexities warranting such a prolonged processing time. The delay is causing me financial strain as I rely on this refund to meet my ongoing obligations. I am urgently seeking assistance from someone who can offer clarity on this matter.

I was advised by a representative to contact the IRS to verify my identity for my [redacted] income. I also need assistance with my [redacted] and [redacted] tax filings which were affected by a loan from [redacted] that I never had. I completed Form [redacted] for innocent spouse relief twice, and on April 29, [redacted], I received a letter concerning my [redacted] W-2 income, followed by the same issue in [redacted]. Despite making an appointment at the IRS office in San Antonio, Texas, I discovered that someone under the name Jose Delmiro Villanueva falsely claimed me as their spouse for finances in [redacted], which I had no knowledge of. I seek help to reclaim what is rightfully mine and would appreciate assistance from the appropriate authority. Thank you. - Joyce Elizabeth J.
