I recently had my bank account garnished by the Colorado Department of Revenue due to a failure to file tax returns for [redacted] and [redacted]. Despite providing them with my [redacted] forms showing stock losses, they assessed taxes on stock sales incorrectly. I retired to Mexico in [redacted], where I do not receive mail, and assumed I didn't need to file taxes due to no taxable income and stock losses. The stress of this situation, especially at 77 years old, has been overwhelming for me and my wife. I'm concerned about potential collection issues with the IRS and want to ensure there are no similar problems. My name is Thomas Edward Allen, and I can provide the [redacted] forms if necessary. Thank you.

I filed my taxes, and they were accepted on February 7/8, [redacted]. The estimated date to receive my refund was initially March 2nd, according to TurboTax. However, when I checked today, it showed that I should have received it on February 28th. Both of these dates have passed, and I am yet to receive my refund. When I try to track it, the information is unavailable due to filing before February 9th. I am confused at this point on what steps to take. I am having trouble reaching someone over the phone, and I wish to avoid the issues I faced last year when my refund was issued to someone else, with no resolution. I am seeking information on the whereabouts of my refund and when I can expect to receive it.

I am currently facing financial difficulties due to my pregnancy as I am out of work and need assistance with my taxes. The money from the refund was intended for rent, my child's essentials, and car payments. Any support would be greatly appreciated during this challenging time. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

I utilized e-file to fill out and submit my son, Matthew S. Lamb's income tax return on 2/20/[redacted]. Upon checking the status, it indicated a refund of $[redacted], but it was denied due to me mistakenly stating he did not file a return in [redacted]. I have requested a copy of his [redacted] filing to obtain the AGI and proceed with depositing the refund into my checking account. Matthew has been working in Alaska for the past two years, making it challenging to retrieve the necessary information as he is not in direct contact with the individual who will receive the copy of his [redacted] return. I am unable to complete the transaction without the AGI. Please advise on how I can resolve this matter.

I filed taxes last year with my husband, who had no income at the time, and I received a refund. However, during the summer, we received a settlement payment from a law firm for a class action lawsuit, and taxes were deducted for lost wages. We were also informed to pay additional taxes on the amount paid to my husband for damages related to his job incident. I want to amend my tax return to remove my husband's name and file as married but single. I'd like to know if it's possible for him to pay his taxes separately for the lawsuit recovery, amounting to approximately $2,[redacted]. I received a tax notice for this amount. I am unsure if it's more cost-effective to leave it as is and pay based on our joint filing status from last year. Please contact me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted]

I have been struggling to register online for the past four days. I have all the necessary information such as my account name, address, phone number, email, mortgage number, and a valid credit card. I have even updated my password. Despite several attempts to register, I encounter an error message each time, locking my access to my tax account and payments. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a fax machine. I am eager to have my account unlocked and require assistance from a customer support representative. I have attempted to provide all the required information, including answers to confidential questions. However, I am locked out once again. I urgently need a real person to assist me with this online registration issue. I have explored different menus in search for more details to complete my registration. Specifically, I need the amount I paid to the IRS earlier this year to rectify an underpayment from [redacted]. I am utilizing Turbotax for my [redacted] taxes, and it mandates the previous payment amount. Kindly, reach out to me at 1-[redacted] to resolve this matter promptly.

I am Jerome F. from Greensboro, NC. My ex, Absa N. M., resides in the same city and is a U.S. permanent resident. Although she is married to a former felon for two years, I have a current custody order from the NC Guildford County District Court for our minor children, granting me primary physical custody. This document has been included in IRS filings in previous years, around [redacted]. Despite this, Absa and her husband, Ronald M., might try to claim the children. They own two retail businesses and hair salons, raising concerns that they may not accurately report income and sales taxes.

My daughter, who has MS and is totally disabled, recently discovered that someone was using her information for a gambling site. Despite her incapacity to gamble or use a computer, there were payouts from the Betfair site in her name in [redacted] amounting to approximately $[redacted]. This has raised concerns with her SSI and Social Security benefits, as the IRS is now involved. When I contacted Betfair, they were initially uncooperative until I mentioned the IRS issue. They then suddenly closed her account and required a letter of power of attorney from my daughter. The IRS alert lacks specific dates or details about the transactions. The amounts won were consistently around $[redacted].00 or $[redacted].00, which seems suspicious. I will have to accompany my daughter to the Social Security Office to address this situation and seek clarity on the matter.

In [redacted], an employer I never worked for issued a 1099MISC in my name, which I didn't report. This situation only came to my attention recently, and I sought help from a tax advocate. The advocate mentioned that the IRS had until Monday, March 4th, to address the matter, so I could potentially file my taxes for this year and receive my refund. However, I haven't been able to reach my advocate due to my phone being disconnected. I am experiencing severe hardships, like eviction and car repossession, all stemming from this fraudulent activity. I am eager to know if the issue has been resolved and if I can proceed with filing my taxes without my refund being directed towards this false debt. Thank you for your assistance.

I am seeking information on the status of my [redacted] tax returns. There was an error stating I sold a building in [redacted] when it was actually a house sold through a different title company. I have sent documents via certified mail to prove the $88K owed is incorrect. This mistake has severely impacted my credit, living situation, and caused immense personal distress. I have contacted the IRS multiple times without success in rectifying the issue. I request my [redacted] tax return be released promptly so I can file my [redacted] taxes accurately. Please assign a specialist to assist me in resolving this matter. I have been a diligent taxpayer since [redacted] and deserve fairness. I am deeply troubled by this prolonged ordeal. I am experiencing difficulty obtaining my W-2 form from Compass Group. They have failed to provide it despite several attempts, which is causing me stress as an unemployed single father. I urgently need the W-2 to file my taxes. Compass Group's unhelpful response and refusal to provide their federal and state EIN numbers have put me in a challenging situation. I fear the consequences of not having this important document, such as losing my apartment. My tax preparer advised me to contact the IRS due to the company's lack of cooperation. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I used TurboTax to file my taxes, and the IRS informed me on February 27 that they had sent the refund to my bank. However, as of today, my bank has not received it. I filed my taxes on January 28 and I am still waiting for the refund to show up in my account. Can someone please look into this with the IRS? I would appreciate it if a trace number could be provided. My details are: Social Security number [redacted], filing status single, tax refund amount $1,[redacted], name Wanda Miller, email [redacted] Thank you for your assistance in tracing my refund.

My spouse and I filed taxes jointly due to years of domestic abuse. I had to involve the police to have him arrested, leaving me with our three children, including two sons with disabilities. Unfortunately, we faced additional hardships when our apartment flooded, and I became critically ill, forcing us to seek a new home. Despite our agreement, Richard at the tax preparation office has not provided our refund. He suggested my ex, Steve, could cash it without my signature, raising concerns of potential fraud. Desperate for answers as we are homeless and struggling, I question where our tax refund is. There are suspicions that someone may have unlawfully cashed it, further complicating our situation. Urgent response needed to address this issue. Thank you.

I need assistance with reporting a previous employer who failed to pay taxes. In Spring [redacted], Lutheran Hospital (Ft. Wayne, IN), operated by Community Health Systems in Franklin, TN, gave a $[redacted] retention bonus, with $[redacted] received after taxes were deducted. In [redacted], it was revealed that CHS didn't pay the taxes and employees were asked to waive their right to amend filings. I left the company before the agreed contract period and owe a prorated amount back. CHS now insists on the full $4K payment upfront before providing a tax amendment form for [redacted]. My attorney is handling the disagreement, and we are going to court on 5/2/19. I wanted to bring attention to this matter.

I submitted my tax return using TurboTax on February 2nd. On the same day, I received an email confirming that my taxes were approved. According to my TurboTax account, the estimated date to receive my refund was February 23rd. However, it has now been more than 21 days and I have not received my refund yet. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone to inquire about the status. While my state refund has been processed, the IRS tracking still shows that my federal refund is being processed after more than 21 days. I am unsure if this delay is normal or if there might be an issue with my refund.

I submitted my taxes on February 4th and they were accepted on February 6th. I have yet to receive anything by mail or phone. When I check my refund status, it still shows that it's being processed, and it's been almost 35 days. I contacted them on Thursday, and the representative mentioned March 18th and a 45-day timeline. She said it's under review due to a computer crash and assured me that it's not something I did wrong. I find it puzzling that I haven't been informed earlier about any delays or issues with my refund.

I recently received two calls from individuals claiming to be IRS Agents, accusing me of various crimes and fraudulent activities tied to my name. They mentioned warrants for my arrest, opened bank accounts, blood and drug residue in an abandoned car, and cocaine found in houses linked to me. They provided names like Officer Ethan Ross from the NY state social security administration and Officer Steven White from a PA phone number. They left voicemails and urged me to contact them back. I am concerned about this situation and wonder if I should report it as identity theft. Looking forward to resolving this matter promptly.

I am consistently receiving a message stating that my refund is still being processed after electronically filing on February 14th, [redacted]. After contacting customer service, I was informed that my refund is still under review. I was then told that the refund cannot be directly deposited into my bank account due to its amount and that it is still under review. I was unaware of any maximum deposit amount to my bank. When asked about receiving a letter, I mentioned I hadn't received one. The representative informed me that I will receive a letter stating the refund will have to be processed via paper check. I am concerned if there is an issue with my refund that I should be aware of and would appreciate clarification on the situation. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. -T. McVeigh

I regrettably discovered that my tax refund was intercepted by the Domestic Relations office after unknowingly having my taxes filed jointly by someone without my knowledge. I only found out when I received a letter in the mail, which I’ve been eagerly awaiting. My husband and I are separated, and his children with other partners are involved, not mine. I reached out to Domestic Relations, and they mentioned a particular form that needs to be completed for them to return my refund to me. I have recently lost my job, leaving me without income, and bills are piling up. I sincerely apologize for this situation and the actions of the individual who filed jointly on my behalf without my consent. I am in desperate need of this money. Can anyone provide guidance on how to handle this matter efficiently?

Two days before Christmas in [redacted], my husband abandoned me and our children. He filed for divorce, leaving me in a difficult financial situation. Currently, I am trying to complete my income tax forms and am unsure if I can file as Head of Household. I am claiming our three teenagers as dependents for whom I am seeking sole custody. They will testify in court to support my custody request. I do not plan to use the child tax credit. Additionally, I intend to file form [redacted] for my oldest daughter who has completed dual credit courses at a college. As a self-employed math tutor within the homeschool community, I lack W-2 forms but have all the necessary documents, including the [redacted], Schedule C, Schedule SE, and Schedules 1 and 4.
