I have been a loyal customer of Ihop for over 40 years. I usually understand when servers make mistakes, but my recent experience was disappointing. The server, Jonathan, neglected multiple requests and left a puddle of liquid at my table. Despite asking him to clean it up, he did not. He also forgot ketchup, strawberry topping, syrup, coffee, and water refills. When he offered to box up the uneaten cold pancakes, I declined. I felt ignored as a customer. I noticed the service provided to others nearby was much better. The overall experience was subpar, and I would like a refund for the unsatisfactory service I received.

Today's lunch was enjoyable with excellent food and pleasant service. However, the take-out box provided for my half-eaten breakfast burrito was extremely frustrating. It was challenging to secure the lid on the box, akin to solving a 3D puzzle. The box's design turned out to be impractical as it failed to keep the food intact. Despite my attempts to fix it, the box collapsed, causing my food to fall into the dirt. I reside 15 miles from the IHOP location and this experience made me upset. I am disappointed that a company like IHOP would use such poorly designed boxes that don't fulfill their function properly. I voiced my concerns to the local restaurant, which acknowledged the issue but indicated limited ability to address it due to corporate restrictions. It's disheartening that a big company like IHOP struggles with such a basic aspect of their service. A functional take-home box is essential in the restaurant industry, and it's perplexing why they opt for an intricate yet flawed design instead of a simple and effective solution like generic styrofoam boxes.

My boyfriend and I left IHOP today at 7:35am due to our server, Jenny. When she approached our table, she immediately asked for our drink orders with a hand on her hip, chewing gum, and a bit of an attitude. Jenny did not introduce herself or mention any specials. It took her 20 minutes to bring back water and coffee. When I placed my order for French toast with strawberries and bananas, eggs, sausage, and home fries instead of hash browns, she mentioned a $2.49 upcharge. I asked her to verify this since usually you can substitute one type of potato for another. Disappointed, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, the manager, Mark, was also impolite. Thank you.

I am seeking assistance regarding my work situation at IHOP on Meadowview Rd. in Sacramento, CA. I have been employed there for over a year. Following the arrival of a new Manager, my hours have decreased significantly without a satisfactory explanation, dropping from 25-40 hours per pay period to a mere 3 hours weekly. When inquiring with Manager Brittney, I was met with evasiveness, and she redirected me to the District Manager who never followed up. I believe this reduction in hours to be targeted mistreatment, as evident by the lack of shift coverage despite others going on vacation or leaving, even after expressing my willingness to take on more hours. In addition, I have faced discrimination for not speaking Spanish and was once made to work 9 hours continuously without a break, which is against labor regulations. Upon review of my pay, I noted the absence of overtime pay for the extended shift, indicating possible tampering with my timecard. I simply seek fair treatment and resolution to these issues.

During my recent visit with my wife and son to your Chatsworth location, I was disappointed with the quality of the pancakes. As a pancake enthusiast, I have sampled pancakes at various restaurants across the San Fernando Valley, and unfortunately, yours did not meet my expectations. The pancakes lacked flavor, consistency, and fluffiness. In comparison to other establishments like Cici's restaurant in Tarzana, Country Deli, and Brents Deli in Northridge, your pancakes were subpar. I believe constructive feedback is essential for improvement, which is why I feel compelled to share my experience. I am not seeking a refund but rather hope to see a change in the pancake quality in the future. I may also leave a review on Yelp to raise awareness about this issue.

I noticed that the front area of the building was terribly overgrown, so I offered my services to the management. Although the work completed on August 4th was approved by the manager, I faced payment issues later on. When trying to receive payment, the managers seemed to have forgotten the agreement, leading to unpleasant interactions and the refusal to compensate me for my services. This morning, on September 22, [redacted], my husband and I went to IHOP for breakfast. We were seated and ordered drinks before selecting our food. He had orange juice, and I had Pepsi. While waiting for our meals, we talked. When the food arrived, we enjoyed our meal until my husband noticed lipstick on his glass, colored pink. We immediately informed the waitress who swiftly took action by removing the drink from our bill. When we requested to speak with the manager, we were told they did not speak English, which was surprising. This incident raises concerns about the restaurant's overall cleanliness. The waitress' response left us dissatisfied. We hope IHOP addresses this matter promptly. My late spouse and I used to frequent IHOP twice a week for the delicious Harvest Grain pancakes. Unfortunately, since they are no longer offered, I haven't been back. Even my children and their families have stopped going. We used to appreciate IHOP for accommodating both breakfast and lunch preferences, but without the Harvest Grain pancakes, it lacks the special touch we enjoyed. The different reasons given for discontinuing the pancakes have left us disappointed. We all miss the Harvest Grain pancakes dearly.

I visited your restaurant in Grove City, Ohio this morning. My granddaughter ordered the silver pancake breakfast which should have included 5 silver dollar pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Unfortunately, she only received the pancakes. I mentioned this issue to the staff member at the front desk when leaving, but it seemed a bit too late for any resolution. Additionally, I found the prices to be quite high compared to Bob Evans. The food was average and the service was satisfactory, although there was a long wait to be seated as there was no hostess present. At this point, I do not plan on returning anytime soon.

The kitchen manager, Carlos Cruz, is very disrespectful to his team and servers, often speaking rudely. The general manager, Belinda, has not addressed this behavior, and it's the second time witnessing such conduct at the restaurant. One server, Fernando, appeared intoxicated, wearing a mask to hide the smell of alcohol and marijuana. Upon leaving, there were workers by the dumpster drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana, including three men and two women. This behavior is concerning for a workplace during working hours. It's puzzling that the general manager has not taken action. The situation needs addressing for the restaurant to uphold proper standards.

My two friends and I visited the new IHOP in Evansville, Indiana tonight. Unfortunately, we didn't receive half of the food we ordered while dining in, and our to-go order was incomplete and cold. Our waiter, who was new, provided good service. Despite our missing items like hash browns and pancakes, a middle-aged Hispanic woman working there was rude and unhelpful, refusing to rectify the situation. Later, I discovered that my friend in assisted living didn't receive their meal for the next day. Despite my efforts to call IHOP, I was left on hold for 11 minutes before giving up. As a Regional Manager, I intend to share my disappointing experience to prevent others from going to this specific IHOP. I am seeking a refund for the missing food. Furthermore, we are now navigating how to provide hot food to our friend in the assisted living facility, as they do not serve hot food on Sundays and we are not in town to assist. This experience has left me shocked and frustrated, especially knowing the missed opportunities for takeout orders due to their inability to answer phone calls promptly. My friends are surprised to see me so upset as I am not one to usually complain.

I had an awful experience at this establishment in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on highway [redacted]. Our server, Caitlyn, provided terrible service, taking a long time to serve us. The food arrived late and cold, with mistakes in the order. Despite reminding her multiple times, she forgot the hash browns and brought the wrong items. We received no drink refills and had to ask multiple times. To top it off, after checking our bank account, we discovered Caitlyn had added a $10 tip without our consent. The manager was unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. This incident of theft needs to be addressed, and I am seeking a full refund and the employee to be terminated.

Yesterday, I met a friend at IHOP on Wanamaker Road in Topeka, Kansas. After a half-hour wait, I received my food. Unfortunately, my broccoli was undercooked, and my serving of macaroni and cheese was minimal, accompanied by a chicken breast that wasn't fully cooked. When I mentioned this to the waiter, I was surprised that they declined to remake the meal, despite the restaurant being nearly empty at 4:00 pm. I've had the same meal at another IHOP location on 24 Highway, and it was nothing like this. I captured a picture as I'm a social media influencer. The waiter seemed puzzled too and eventually brought me a child's portion of mac and cheese. I believe the kitchen staff might need to improve their attitude and quality of service.

I made a purchase on your website, expecting delivery through DoorDash. Unfortunately, I never received the order. DoorDash informed me that as the purchase was made on your website, they are unable to issue a direct refund. They have tried reaching out to your establishment for a refund to be issued to me, with no luck. DoorDash is prepared to reimburse you so that I can receive my refund. I clean windows monthly, approved by the owner, Lisa, at various locations, including the IHOP on [redacted] 20th St, Vero Beach, FL [redacted]. Unfortunately, I face challenges with the manager, Manuela, who is often rude and uncooperative, making it difficult for me to complete my work. Despite being sent by the owner, she refuses service and on one occasion even refused payment. This behavior is unacceptable, and with the added rudeness from some servers, I have decided to stop servicing this location. I strive for professionalism and will not tolerate disrespect from individuals who hinder my ability to maintain the businesses I am hired to clean.

On December 10th, my husband and I visited IHOP in Charlottesville, VA around 11 am. Despite not being busy, we waited for 15 minutes before being acknowledged by a woman in her late 40s, with short brown hair, who was handling greeting and seating without a name tag. Initially seen smoking outside, she eventually took our names and assured a short wait. Although we were the 4th couple waiting, we observed the first 3 seated quickly. After an hour with no service, seeing only 6 occupied tables and ample staff including 3 waitresses, a busboy, and 3 cooks, our frustration grew. Even a Grubhub delivery was ignored until he approached the kitchen for help. Disappointed by the lack of attention and the staff smoking outside, we eventually left. The indifference displayed by the crew was unacceptable, leading us to take our business elsewhere.

I visited the Davie Crockett Travel Plaza in Greenville, TN on September 18 and accidentally left my special hoodie at I Hop. The manager, Heather, promised to send it back to me over two months ago. Despite multiple calls and offering to cover the shipping costs and compensate her for her time, I have not received my hoodie. Initially, Heather was friendly but has now started avoiding my calls. I suspect she never sent my hoodie like she claimed. I'm from Oklahoma and unable to retrieve it in person, which is why I'm frustrated by this situation.

I placed an order over the phone at an IHOP in Emerald, Texas. Unfortunately, they didn't receive it as they mentioned they don't take phone orders. Due to their busy schedule, I need to transfer my order to the IHOP in Amarillo, Texas, specifically the one located at I-40 and Ross.

I recently visited the IHOP in Lacey, Washington. When I ordered a turkey sandwich, I noticed the top of the bread was hard. I informed the waitress, but she did not offer to replace the sandwich or provide anything else. She only refilled my coffee once, and I had to ask other staff members for more. I found this lack of attention frustrating, especially considering I only received two coffee refills. After speaking with the manager and receiving an apology, there was no compensation offered for the poor experience.

My check number is [redacted] from a visit on 01/05/[redacted] at 12:48 PM at IHOP, located at [redacted] South Dale Mabry, Tampa, FL, [redacted]. My total bill was $31.90. I'm Jessica Lee, and I need to report very poor customer service and management at this IHOP location. My experience was unpleasant due to Magali's unprofessionalism and lack of acknowledgment. Despite the nearly empty restaurant, I had to wait 15 minutes to place a To-Go order. Eventually, Lisa took my order after an argument, but my food was cold and stale. I feel cheated, disrespected, and unfairly treated by the staff at this store.
