During our visit to your restaurant #[redacted] on 3/15, I ordered the 55+ 2+2+2 and found it to be cold. Unfortunately, my husband tried to order tilapia but was informed it was unavailable, so he opted for the seafood platter instead. After waiting about 30 minutes, Shelby, the waitress, did not bring the salad as promised. Another waiter hastily put together a subpar salad without the essential ingredients. When the food finally arrived, the seafood platter was missing the shrimp. Despite pointing it out, Shelby was slow to address the mistake. Additionally, the restaurant was lacking basic condiments like tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, ketchup, and horseradish. Disappointed by the service and incomplete meal, my husband did not eat his food. We would appreciate a refund of $26.04 for the unsatisfactory experience, especially considering we also opted not to leave a tip. I have already provided feedback through your survey system and left my contact information.

Hello, good morning. I'm Christina. Today, my family and I chose to have a meal at iHop on [redacted] South Semoran Blvd. in Orlando, Florida. We eat out frequently and have experience with various restaurants during busy times. I want to commend Zack, the host, for his exceptional job. He efficiently managed seating and table clearing. He even compensated for the shortcomings of our server, John. Without Zack, we wouldn't have received our coffee. Unfortunately, John, our server, was the worst we've encountered. He neglected our table, made errors with our order, and failed to deliver some items we requested. When my daughter tried to pay, John unprofessionally redirected her, leading to a confrontational interaction when I inquired about it. The service deteriorated further, culminating in a heated exchange where John was disrespectful. Despite the subpar serving, the food was promptly served, fresh, and well-prepared. Credit goes to the kitchen staff and Zack, the host, for their efforts.

Good morning, I'm Christina. Today, my family and I chose to eat at iHop on [redacted] South Semoran Blvd, Orlando, Florida [redacted]. We dine out frequently and know what to expect during busy times. Zack, our host, did an amazing job handling seating and cleaning tables tirelessly. However, our server, John, was the worst we've encountered. Despite passing by our table, he failed to bring our coffee. Our order was incorrect, missing items like my son's sunny side up dish. Problems escalated when John rudely refused payment at the register, causing a scene when I complained to another customer. In response to my frustration, John confronted me aggressively. Disappointed and embarrassed by the situation, my son vowed never to return. Despite the food being quick and well-prepared, John’s behavior overshadowed the positive experience provided by the cooks and our host, Zack.

On my recent visit to IHOP in Southaven, MS, I encountered significant issues for the second time. The manager named "Sherry" displayed a lack of customer care and appeared to be inadequately trained. My first problem with her occurred in October [redacted] when pork was used in my omelette despite my request for steak due to religious restrictions. When I approached Manager Sherry, she promised a refund to my bank card within a week, which I never received despite her assurances. Recently, I placed an online order around 6:30-7:00 a.m. for pickup at 8:45 a.m. However, upon my husband's early arrival at 8:30 a.m., Manager Sherry claimed the order was missing, causing a delay that made him late for work. My attempts to address the issue with Manager Sherry and the area manager were met with unprofessional behavior and dismissiveness. The mistreatment we faced while simply trying to order from a local restaurant is truly unacceptable. I feel compelled to address these challenges openly this time.

On the evening of March 29th, my family and I visited a local IHOP, hoping to redeem a coupon for the IHOP Free Pancake Day Flip It Forward event. The coupon required a $5 donation and was valid for a discount on a future visit between March 12th and March 31st, [redacted]. Despite adhering to the terms, we were informed at the register that our $15.68 order did not qualify for the discount because we shared a meal. We were surprised by this as the coupon contained no such restriction. We believe it was unfair treatment and would like a proper resolution. Our request includes receiving a $5 off coupon applicable to any meal to compensate for the mishandling of our original coupon. Additionally, we feel that a free meal for my husband and myself would help alleviate the frustration we experienced during this visit. As loyal MyHop members who frequent IHOP often, we hope this issue can be resolved amicably.

I work at IHOP on Stemmon Trail and have been working there since October. I consistently go above and beyond for the store, being available whenever they need me by coming in two to three hours early. However, I often end up staying later than scheduled, which affects my commute home as I rely on public transportation. Recently, there have been issues with the scheduling changes without proper notice and a write-up for allegedly not calling in. I tried to communicate when I was sick, but the manager was unresponsive and unsupportive. I feel unfairly treated and retaliated against for situations beyond my control. The lack of communication and understanding from management has been frustrating.

On April 22, [redacted], my mother and I visited the iHop at [redacted] E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV [redacted]. Upon entry, we were greeted by waiter Carlos, who displayed visible attitude when we requested a booth instead of a table. Despite being seated at a table, Carlos's service was lacking, as he did not return to take our order or offer drinks. Feeling neglected, we left without being served. This experience left us feeling discriminated against, especially considering our previous positive experiences at this location. Contrarily, we had an exceptional service at the iHop on [redacted] S. Rainbow Blvd. Omar provided excellent service on the same day. It would be appreciated if management could address the incident with Carlos at the Tropicana location. Thank you, Danielle Rivers.

Hello, My family and I have been loyal customers of Ihop for over 40 years and we usually visit the locations in Port Hueneme, CA, Ventura, CA, and Newbury Park, CA. My husband, a US Navy Veteran, has always received a 20% discount on the entire bill, which we greatly appreciate. However, during our visit to the Ihop on [redacted] Michael Dr, Newbury Park, CA [redacted] on 4/28/19, we were told by Manager Roberto Martinez that Ihop does not offer a military discount, something which shocked me as we have always received the discount at any Ihop location. He was not pleasant in informing us and even disregarded the online information that shows a 20% discount for Military Veterans. Instead, he insisted on only giving us a 10% Senior discount. This treatment made us feel discriminated against, which has never happened in our numerous visits to this location. He also refused to provide me with the corporate phone number, and only gave me some unclear numbers to call for information. I am sharing this with you in the hope that this issue will be addressed promptly. Thank you, Sandy H.

This morning, I visited IHOP in Kissimmee and ordered their strawberry stuffed French toast to go. Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. Years ago, I remembered it being delicious, but this time it was hard, stale, cold, and lacked filling. The hash browns were undercooked, the ranch dressing was missing, and the ham was small and cold. I regret not choosing Perkins next door and spending $13 on something I couldn't even eat, so I threw it away. As someone in the restaurant industry, I rarely complain, but this experience was truly terrible and a waste of time and money.

My recent visit to IHOP was disappointing. Despite the tasty food, the service left much to be desired. The waiter neglected to inform me of available drink options when they were out of tomato juice and did not check back on me after serving the meal. Additionally, I had issues with applying a senior citizen discount to my bill which resulted in multiple charges to my bank account. The lack of customer service and professionalism from the staff, including the manager's response, has led me to reconsider future visits to IHOP. Despite enjoying the food, the overall experience has made me hesitant to return due to the disorganization and unresponsiveness of the employees.

My family and I visited the IHOP in Olive Branch, MS on 7/23/19 at 6:15 pm. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a slippery entrance area covered in water and soap which posed a safety hazard. When we inquired about the situation, one waitress nonchalantly mentioned they were cleaning, while another waitress rolled her eyes in response. Despite being seated by a reluctant waitress, we experienced prolonged wait times to settle our bill after eating. When I took the initiative to seek assistance, I found our waitress outside on her phone, which she continued to use when serving us. The decline in service quality was evident as we missed the attentiveness and care we previously enjoyed during our weekly visits. The lapse in customer service was particularly disappointing given the empty restaurant and lack of apparent staffing issues. We sincerely hope to see an improvement in both service quality and food standards to restore our positive dining experiences at this location.

My husband and I visited the Ihop restaurant on 14th Street NW in Washington DC. As we were leaving, a staff member came out yelling "HEY HEY!" We turned back, thinking we had forgotten something. To our surprise, he accused us of taking syrup, which we didn't. After he checked our bag and found no syrup, he simply walked away without apologizing. We felt shocked and disrespected by the false accusation. When we asked to speak to a manager, the same person claimed the server had told him we took the syrup, but he couldn't prove it with video footage. We were astonished by their behavior and the lack of evidence to support their claim. I tried reaching out to customer service but couldn't get through. Please investigate this incident that occurred on 08/13/[redacted] between 2:00 and 3:00 am at this location. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I used to be a regular at the Elizabeth City establishment and even the manager knows me well. Today, when I visited with my aunts, we were greeted by a couple who had been waiting for 45 minutes without being served. They warned us not to eat there. Upon entering, we found the place to be freezing cold, making it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Despite few customers, the temperature was not adjusted when requested, as the staff mentioned that the thermostat couldn't be changed, which was disappointing in terms of customer service. It was so chilly that we had to leave to ensure our food wouldn't get cold before we finished. The manager, Nicole, didn't address the issue effectively. It would be greatly appreciated if this cold temperature concern could be resolved to enhance the dining experience for customers. Despite wearing sweaters and jackets, it was still uncomfortably cold, and despite other customers complaining, no action was taken. I believe customer satisfaction should be a top priority.

Yesterday, my family and I stopped at IHOP in Hixson, TN on our way home for breakfast. Despite some empty tables, there were multiple groups waiting to be seated around 11am. With a mix of family members craving both breakfast and lunch, IHOP seemed like the perfect choice. After a 45-59 minute wait in the foyer due to our group of 4 children and 7 adults, we were finally seated. We then waited an additional 5-10 minutes for our waitress. When she arrived, she was polite and asked how we were. I mentioned we were starving from the long wait, to which she apologized and informed us of a 45-minute to 1-hour wait for food. Regrettably, we had to decline the service as the kids couldn't wait any longer. As we left, I overheard her instructing the staff to inform customers about the wait times, acknowledging it was unfair to keep hungry guests waiting. We enjoy family trips and understand the challenges of accommodating larger groups, but our party of 10 should not have experienced such a lengthy delay, especially after being told the wait wouldn't be too long. This experience left us very disappointed.

Hello! I wanted to share my experience with the new Halloween hot chocolate. The topping resembled old canned frosting, making it thick and inedible. This can be concerning for kids and may not be a healthy option. I would suggest using a dollop of whipped cream and adding some purple sprinkles instead. My visit was at the IHOP by Landry's in Denver, CO, and I hope this feedback can be addressed for the children's enjoyment. Thank you for looking into this matter.

I work at IHOP in Lexington, South Carolina. Last night, our manager walked out on us, looked me in the face, and said something offensive before leaving. Finding out that I have to work under the same manager today is unacceptable. I have decided to quit my job as I cannot work for someone who abandons their responsibilities and leaves the servers to run a busy shift on their own. It is outrageous, and I refuse to work for any IHOP location associated with this manager. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau about this situation.

I have frequented the iHop in White Haven many times, but the experience at the Wilkes-Barre location was disappointing. During breakfast with my mother, despite my patience from working in busy places, we were left unattended at a table with a bill and money on it. The manager and three employees were chatting at the counter, ignoring us completely. Eventually, we realized nobody was going to help us and decided to leave after ten minutes. Only then did a waitress suddenly seem interested in serving us. The manager bid us farewell, despite clearly observing the situation. When we expressed our frustration, the manager's response of "Oh, sorry" was unsatisfactory for someone in that role. This incident might explain why the Wilkes-Barre location had to shut down for a week. It was a truly awful experience. Even at Denny's, a server would at least deliver your drink within the first five minutes.

On October 31st, my family and I dined at the Clinton, Maryland IHOP location. To expedite our wait time, I placed an order online at 7:16 p.m. using IHOP.com with Order #[redacted]77 for a 7:31 p.m. pick-up time. While waiting for my food, I asked my daughter to check at 7:30/7:35 but she found nothing at the front. After a delay, the manager, Joshua, finally addressed the situation. Despite my dissatisfaction with the service and the delayed order, Joshua could not offer a refund. Eventually, I received my order at 8:11 p.m. The experience was disappointing, and Joshua's handling of the situation left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the Halloween crowd, leading to delays and confusion. As someone with years of experience in hospitality, I found this level of service unacceptable. Joshua missed an opportunity to provide better service and address the issue promptly.

I ordered a large omelet to share, along with three extra pancakes, requesting warm maple syrup. However, I received two salad dressing containers of colored syrup instead. Despite ordering two cups of coffee, we didn't receive a pot until we asked as we were leaving. A child accidentally spilled water, and the waitress was preoccupied chatting with another customer, making it difficult to get her attention for more napkins. Despite asking a staff member for a towel, they vanished into the kitchen. The cleanliness of the restroom was disappointing, similar to an old gas station. This was my third visit in a year, and I won't be returning. I feel the bill of over $23 for a Poblano omelet, extra pancakes, coffee, and orange juice was excessive, especially considering the lack of extra amenities. I'll be trying the Village Cafe next time instead of IHOP.

This morning, my family visited IHOP on Fort Ave in Lynchburg, VA for breakfast. We arrived at 10:30 am, got seated, and placed our orders with the waiter. By 11:30, we were informed of a grill issue causing a delay in our food. Despite waiting until 11:50 with no sign of our meals, another table was served before us. I signaled the waiter to explain our departure due to the prolonged wait. I spoke with the manager about the situation, acknowledging kitchen mishaps but expressing my disappointment with the nearly 1.5-hour wait. Although the manager apologized and promised better service next time, I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience at IHOP on Fort Ave in Lynchburg, VA and will not return.
