I visited the ihop location in Crestwood Illinois and order two big steak omelets meals to go. Note I live like ** minutes away so I make it home just to find hair has been cooked through my eggs so I close it back and head back to the ihop. When I get there I simply let the waitress know that I found hair in the food she apologize for the inconvenience and offers to have the food made again but by this time it's been over an hour since I order the food so I ask for a refund the waitress state that she doesn't know how to give a refund to debit or credit cards and try to contact her supervisor via phone but received only the voicemail so she tells me to come by tomorrow to speak with the supervisor so I come by the next day to be told the same thing no supervisor and he's the only person who can give me a refund so I called the customer service number I found online for ihop and made a complaint and was told that someone would be contacting me about the situation so about a week later I received a call from a ihop and the person was rude as ever he asked me what happened and I told him then he says we don't give refunds but I can send you a ihop gift card so what would you like to do so I responded with I guess that's my only option now I received an gift card for $** I spent $** for the food made a total of three trips to this location and I receive less than I paid for the food that I received with hair cooked through the eggs and this is fair I can't even go order the same meal with this gift card and I never asked for anything extra I just wanted a refund for the food that was made wrong but I still lose because a mistake their cook made. But happy holidays
