Approximately 18 months ago, I signed up for boiler coverage with Scottish Power. In February this year, my boiler started leaking. Despite several visits from engineers who ordered various parts, the issue persists. After multiple attempts, it was determined that the heat exchange unit needs replacing. A new unit was ordered but the wrong one was initially sent. After removing the old unit, they left without installing the correct part due to unavailability. Eventually, I received notice that my plan was canceled, deeming the repair uneconomical. Being without heat or hot water for months, especially during the cold weather, has been incredibly challenging, especially for my granddaughter who has health issues. If unable to resolve my situation, I urge others to be cautious when considering similar insurance plans. - Best regards, Virginia Ensor

Hello, I am seeking assistance regarding a sofa purchased from SCS. We received our sofa without legs, and despite having showroom legs temporarily, we are still waiting for the correct legs. We tried to cancel the sofa due to this issue, but were informed it was too late. The delivery driver also was unhelpful and even made a threatening call to my partner. We attempted to return the sofa to SCS but were told it is against their policy. After contacting the head office and sending photos, an engineer was sent to address a different issue with the back cushions, not the legs. Despite indicating we were missing the correct gray legs, SCS sent us brown legs instead. We are frustrated as this has been ongoing since before Christmas when our initial sofa choice was unavailable, leading to a late-night rushed visit to the store. It has been nearly four weeks, and we are still unable to use the sofa properly due to the wrong legs.
