The issue in GetHuman-bagleymr's own words
we had an installer, dave or david, on jan *th ,**** who after * hrs could not get the system installed. At one point he asked to take a "smoke",......*** to*** the length of a football field away from our house! when he came back he smelled like pot(?) and was hard to understand, mumbling. he only wore the blue foot covers once, opting to just kick off his shoes and come in with stocking feet. he tore a large rough edged hole in the wire mesh that covers the vent holes near the house foundation to get the wire through. he did not replace the access panel to under the house correctly, leaving wires sticking out at the bottom. my husband called (when dave "finally" left with job still not done) and said the job did not get finished and we did NOT want dave back! we were told later that dave had been fired later that day. the next installer who came the next day was good and did the job in less than an hour. I explained to him that the problem for us is that since "dave" was not vetted very well, WE are at risk because he knows where we live and etc. it puts US at risk just because we asked for hughesnet service! then the day after dave was fired and no longer working for the company HE CALLED US, (twice I think)......further harassment!! You must vet your workers better!!! WE are at risk which doesn't speak well for you because negative word of mouth is not good advertisement! And we will tell our story for other folks protection!
GetHuman-bagleymr did not yet indicate what Hughesnet should do to make this right.
