I recently attempted to book a last-minute flight with American Airlines through Hotwire using my boyfriend's debit card. After multiple unsuccessful booking attempts, I discovered that his card was being held for almost $[redacted], even though we did not successfully purchase any flights. Both Hotwire and American Airlines are unable to assist without a confirmation number, which I do not have. We are seeking assistance in removing these pending charges from his account promptly.

I would like to speak with a representative based in the United States regarding the poor service I've experienced with this company. I am extremely upset that I, as a single mother, paid for a room meant for four people and received one bed. Furthermore, I was moved to a hotel with roaches, which we refused to stay in. They are now holding my money and charging me a cancellation fee for a bug-infested room. This entire experience has left me furious. I have never felt so cheated before. I will not rest until this situation is resolved. I plan to share my negative experience on my social media platforms with thousands of followers. This situation is truly upsetting.

I made a reservation on Hotwire.com for a specific hotel to avoid the one I had a bad experience with previously. However, after confirming and making the payment, it switched to the same undesirable hotel. I contacted customer service immediately, and after a lengthy discussion, they refunded my payment with a $40 cancellation fee in HotwireDollars. When trying to use the HotwireDollars, I encountered payment issues. I chatted with a representative named Rose, who informed me my account was locked and advised contacting Risk Management for assistance. Despite multiple attempts via phone and email, I have not received any responses after two days of reaching out.

My partner made a reservation through Hotwire for a 4-day stay in Lake City, FL. After confirming the payment, the motel changed to a less desirable option. Despite a refund with a cancellation fee, I am unable to use my HotDollars on Hotwire.com as the account is locked. I've attempted to contact Expedia via phone and email without success. I am looking to book a motel in Lake City, FL at the Baymont Inn for two people, preferably a smoking room with a King bed. Any available option for the same day using HotDollars would be appreciated.

I would like to address an issue regarding my booking with itinerary #[redacted]. Referring to your policy on canceling a Hot Rate® Hotel, it states, “What if I find a lower price after booking? We won’t be having any of that! With our Low Price Guarantee, if you find a lower rate for an identical reservation within 24 hours, we will pay you the difference between the rates. Rates must be verified by Hotwire, and terms and conditions apply." I am seeking the reimbursement of the rate difference to uphold the value Hotwire promises to offer through Hot Rates. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights at $[redacted] each, totaling $[redacted]. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was presented with a total rate of $[redacted], showing a $[redacted] discrepancy from the rate I was given. The hotel then provided me with an official rate of $1,[redacted],[redacted] COP for both rooms for 2 nights, equivalent to $[redacted] per room in USD. I can provide the official documentation from the hotel if needed.

I made a reservation for a trip to Jamaica from 6/4-6/9 to celebrate my cousin's college graduation. Unfortunately, I received a cancellation notification for my Jet Blue flight on 6/3. After a long call, I booked another flight through Priceline. Despite Jet Blue not having an earlier flight, I had to book an additional one for two people. Due to the cancellation, I lost money on a shuttle and resort stay, and had to pay over $1,[redacted] extra. I believe that this amount should be refunded to me as it was not my fault for the flight cancellation.

During my stay at the Loyalty Inn Maryville in Illinois on June 10-11, there were several issues that arose. Despite the delay in checking in and the room being unclean and musty, the biggest problem was the key not working. After multiple attempts, the manager had to use a master key to let us in. Despite raising the concerns to Hotwire on June 11, the motel denied a refund when they were contacted. Hotwire mentioned they would process the refund within 3-5 business days, but I am yet to hear back despite speaking to multiple representatives and requesting to speak to a supervisor. I provided my itinerary number and contact information to Hotwire (Itinerary # [redacted][redacted], Jodi Bratcher at [redacted]), but the situation remains unresolved, leaving me unsure of how to proceed.

A couple of days ago, I discovered an error in my last name on my airline reservation with Hotwire. After a lengthy phone call with Hotwire, I was assured the issue would be resolved in 48 hours, but nothing happened. I then contacted the airlines directly, United and Lufthansa, but they advised only the travel agent could make the name change. When I called Hotwire again, the representative I spoke to had difficulty understanding me due to a heavy foreign accent and background noise, leading to further frustration. Despite my efforts to communicate, I was told I couldn't make changes until 72 hours before the flight, which seemed illogical. After requesting to speak to a supervisor, I was transferred to someone else with an even thicker accent, making communication impossible, and I ended the call feeling unresolved. I am still facing the same issue after spending numerous hours on this matter. I provided the itinerary number and confirmation numbers for reference.

Please cancel the booking at Don Valley Hotel in Toronto for John Janzen. The booking was made in error. The hotel is requesting Hotwire to process the refund, not them. I specifically wanted a Hotwire booking for a good rate with free breakfast at one of three other hotels, not Don Valley. Kindly refund and cancel the booking promptly. If needed, you can contact the hotel directly for the refund. I hope this can be resolved quickly. Thank you, John.

I have traveled to 28 countries and have encountered a problem with two reservations for my daughters, Martine Goyette and Sandra Robideaux (corrected from Robidoux). The plane ticket was booked for Miami on April 8th, [redacted], with a return to Montreal on April 17th, [redacted], but Air Transat rescheduled it to April 16th, conflicting with their cruise arrival in Miami on April 17th at 07:00. The return flight was changed to April 21st, but their work won't allow for the extended holiday. I request a flight from Miami on April 17th departing at 11:00 with a return to Montreal on the same day. The booking reference is 4CGS35. I am unable to reach Hotwire at [redacted]. The return flight was paid with my credit card for 2 x [redacted].33 Canadian funds. Please help with a refund and find affordable alternate flights for the girls. I recently had a disappointing experience with a hotel booking through Hotwire. Despite having multiple credit cards available, the specific hotel I ended up at was a franchise that did not accept any of them. This situation was different from what was indicated on Hotwire's website and the hotel's site. I had previously dealt with the representative at another location and encountered issues. I attempted to make a hotel reservation on Hotwire in San Francisco for tonight, and my card was charged. Unfortunately, I received an error message stating that my booking could not be processed. After contacting Hotwire via text, I was informed that my reservation triggered a flag with their fraud department. They mentioned there was no one available to assist me and that they couldn't take any further action. My main concern is what will happen with the charge that was immediately placed on my card and how it can be resolved.
