The issue in GetHuman-nolanbro's own words
My family and I were travelling this past Sunday, October ** ****, and we tried booking a trip via Hotwire. It stated on the top of the webpage that our request hadn't gone through and that our credit card would not be charged. Since we tried multiple times and this was always the result, we went through another agency for the trip. However, upon checking our credit card statements today, we were indeed charged the $*** that the website clearly stated we would NOT be charged. We never once received a confirmation email or anything stating our booking had worked, just a charge on our credit card. I am disappointed that the website was not working but somehow Hotwire still managed to charge our card. This needs to be fixed. We will be contacting our credit card agency to reverse the charges but it should not have happened in the first place.
