As a local HVAC contractor who installs approximately [redacted] residential systems annually, we have consistently included Honeywell thermostats in our installations. However, there has been a recent issue with the Honeywell T6 Pros getting stuck in heat mode and not transitioning to cooling. Over the past month, we have had to make at least 30 service calls to replace these faulty thermostats. While our suppliers have been helpful in warranting the defective units, the cost of sending a technician out for replacements adds up. Do you have a program in place to address this recurring problem?

I purchased a pair of Honeywell Servus XTP 15" PVC Steel-toe boots on September 18, [redacted]. I wear them regularly but not every day. Yesterday, April 26, [redacted], I noticed the toe of my right sock was muddy when I took off my boots. Upon closer inspection, I found a small hole in the tip of the boot where the yellow layer meets the grey sole, causing it to leak. Despite this issue, the boots are in good condition. As I need boots for work occasionally, I ordered a new pair from Amazon today. After placing the order, I realized my current boots are only 7 months old. While your boots are very comfortable, they should not leak so soon. If this is a common defect, please inform me so I can cancel my order and look for a different brand. Thank you.

Hello, I am having trouble using the Honeywell Home app. An error message keeps popping up indicating that the service is temporarily unavailable. I have been trying to resolve this issue for over three weeks by calling and opening cases, but unfortunately, I have not received a solution yet. This is very important to me, and I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you, Yossi W. [redacted] [redacted]

I installed my new Honeywell T5+ thermostat last night by wiring it like my old Honeywell model. The LCD screen started blowing hot air immediately before I could set it up. Even when I set it to 70° on cool, it was still 94° in my house. It took 30 minutes to drop to 91° but never got cold. I noticed someone with a similar issue online, mentioning a different wiring diagram for a heat pump setup with a Nest thermostat. I also have a heat pump and need a proper wiring diagram. I have the R, W, G, C, and Y wires. Thank you for any help.

I am facing difficulties connecting my thermostat to my wifi network. Despite trying both my phone and laptop, I have been unsuccessful in accessing the page [redacted].[redacted].1.1 when connected to the local thermostat wifi. I have attempted rebooting the thermostat multiple times and even started the setup from scratch, but it seems ineffective. Although the thermostat appears to be successfully connected to the network "NewThermostat_73F1BE," I am unable to load the IP address page. I have experimented with putting my phone in flight mode with only wifi enabled to eliminate any mobile internet disruptions, but the issue persists. Upon attempting to load the page, I either encounter a timeout message or find the site unreachable. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated, as I have exhausted my troubleshooting options. Thank you, Jason

To whom it may concern, I purchased a "Honeywell HCM350W Germ-Free Cool Mist Humidifier White" from Amazon US on June 17th and received it on June 29th. I am able to provide the receipt if necessary. Following the setup instructions, I plugged the humidifier into a working outlet. However, the device only stayed connected for 10 seconds before tripping the electricity, with the product no longer functioning (indicator lights are on but the fan does not turn). Additionally, during the brief connection, I noticed a smell of burnt plastic and a noisy fan sound. After consulting with Amazon customer service, they advised me to contact Honeywell for a warranty replacement. Could you please guide me on the next steps? Thank you and I eagerly await your response. Warm regards, K.

I recently installed a Honeywell Lyric T5 Wi-Fi Thermostat to replace my Emerson Thermostat in my electric Heater/Air Conditioner unit. After installation, the unit started blowing out hot air instead of cooling. I followed the wiring instructions carefully and connected the wires to the correct terminals: R (Red), Y (Yellow), G (Green), C (Blue), O/B (Orange), W2 (White). I'm puzzled as to why it's producing heat instead of cooling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My contact information is as follows: Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]

I recently moved into a new house with a two-zone heating system utilizing two THX9421R5201 Prestige Touch Screen Thermostats. One thermostat seems to be malfunctioning, as it continues to heat beyond the set temperature without stopping. Even when manually adjusted, the thermostat does not accurately reflect the room's temperature causing concerns. Any guidance on addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have two thermostats in my house, one on each floor, and recently I noticed a strange issue. When I turn on the heat on the first floor, it ends up heating the second floor instead, leaving the first floor cold. I attempted to reset my thermostat, but now I'm having trouble reconnecting it to wifi. While trying to connect through the app, I'm prompted to select the thermostat's network name from the list, but I'm unable to make a selection as it seems to be stuck on that screen.

Last week, my HVAC contractor installed a TH8321 thermostat that controls my HVAC system and humidifier. It was linked to an outdoor temperature sensor, which displayed the outdoor temperature accurately for a week. However, this morning I noticed a red light on the thermostat and received an email stating that the outdoor sensor has malfunctioned. The contractor attempted to replace the sensor, but the error persists. How can we resolve this issue and clear the error message on the thermostat?

I am seeking service for our HVAC system as the 4-year-old builder's thermostat suddenly stopped functioning. The service provider recommended the T6 Pro Thermostat, TH6210U2001 model. I discovered this model available online for less than $65 from various retailers. Surprisingly, Honeywell does not sell it directly and requires professional installation, contrasting with their approach for the more advanced T9 Smart Thermostat that consumers can self-install. I am curious about the reasoning behind this discrepancy and the official List Price for the T6 model. This information will help me verify the quote from my HVAC service company, with whom I have a 2-year service contract offering various benefits like no trip charges, free labor and diagnostics, parts discount, and 24-hour service.

I have 5 thermostats at home - 4 TH8321R models and 1 TH8320WF. I wish to replace the TH8320WF (WiFi) with a RedLink model (TH8321R) to have all 5 as RedLink thermostats. Because the RedLink Gateway only supports 4 devices, I would need two RedLink Gateways for all 5 thermostats. Can two RedLink Gateways be used near each other? Will the thermostats be able to distinguish between the two Gateways and connect accordingly (e.g., with two on one Gateway and three on the other)? Are there any challenges with installing two RedLink Gateways and 5 thermostats in close proximity within the same house? Thank you for your help. If you need to reach me, please contact me via email at [redacted].

My furnace acts up when trying to reach the desired temperature. It cycles on and off within minutes of shutting down, sometimes taking several cycles before functioning normally. No changes to the environment occur during these short cycles. I am worried about leaving it on throughout the day. The thermostat is a Honeywell touchscreen model that was replaced a few years back during a program by Simcoe, Ontario Hydro that was never completed. I suspect a motherboard issue might be causing the problem. The model number is UtiltyPro series TF060F7088.

Greetings. I am a T4R thermostat owner with a concern about its functionality. Currently, when I adjust the Set Value (SV) to 20°C, the Present Value (PV) also quickly changes to 20°C. However, when reverting back to 19.5°C, the PV follows suit promptly. This rapid adjustment is causing the heating system to be overly slow in regulating the room temperature. Interestingly, when I temporarily place the thermostat in the refrigerator, causing the PV to drop, upon returning it to the room, the thermostat slowly adjusts to the actual room temperature. Strangely, the displayed value remains lower than the original reading from before refrigeration, leading me to question its accuracy. It appears that the PV aligns closely with the SV even without room temperature fluctuations, as validated by external thermometers. I wonder if this behavior indicates a fault in the thermostat or if there may be an adjustable parameter to resolve this issue.

I am the owner of a T4R thermostat and suspect it is faulty. The Set Value and Present Value both show 19.5 and adjust simultaneously when changed. This slow adjustment affects the heating system's efficiency. Placing the thermostat in the refrigerator temporarily alters the reading but upon return to the room, it takes a long time to display the accurate temperature. Strangely, the new temperature reading remains lower than the original room temperature reading even after half an hour. This mismatch between the Set Value and the room temperature seems to persist despite the room temperature remaining constant, confirmed by other thermometers. Could this be a setting that needs adjustment in the installation menu, or is the thermostat indeed faulty? The tendency for the Present Value to mirror the Set Value without corresponding to the actual room temperature raises concerns about its functionality.

Cordialement, Ronald M. [redacted]

Dear Sir, We are a water treatment company seeking products for a hotel HVAC project. We require DN 40 size 3 Way Modulating valves and Actuators. We have selected Honeywell's V5013P/V5013R model for the valve and seek clarity on its suitability for hotel cold room works. Additionally, we need to confirm if the Actuator should be rated for 230V AC supply and how it operates when condenser pumps are at a constant speed. We eagerly await your responses. Thank you, M/s. I own a Honeywell whole house humidifier model HE360A1075 that was purchased on 2/6/[redacted], which is less than a year ago. I am looking to return it or get a replacement solenoid valve or the entire unit. The warranty mentions one year for homeowner installation and five years if installed by a certified technician, which is my case. It was installed by an HVAC tech, so it should still be under warranty. I spent over two hours on the phone with customer support to confirm that the issue is with the solenoid. The case number is [redacted]6-[redacted].
