I've been chatting with a live rep. However, they disappeared. Then my new chat session kept be cleared of what I had typed. Then it would re-appear. Finally, it closed out for good. Clearly, an IT issue that needs to be corrected. Also, I wanted to explain that I figured out my issue, while the rep remained stumped. So, I thought I'd share, as it's another IT issue. I couldn't log into my Honey account. My computer was slow late last night. I just left it with tabs open because I couldn't do anything, and wanted to go to bed. Sometimes the open tabs remain until I get back to the computer, and other times they've been cleared. Especially, if updates have been installed. Anyway, I couldn't get into my Honey account. It said that either my e-mail or password was wrong. I tried to create a new password, and when I went to my resulting e-mail, it stated that no such e-mail account existed. However, I received an e-mail invite to join Honey last night. Upon hitting "download", I was brought straight into my account, and could see last night's purchase. I finally figured out that I couldn't sign in because I had never signed out. I was only able to gain access through the e-mail invite. What if I had not had the invite? I, nor the rep, could help me gain access to my account. This is another IT issue. Honey needs to have an automatic logout, if the site remains inactive for a specific amount of time. Obviously, it just remained open, even though my tab was closed out. If this isn't addressed, there may be a lot of people, who can't get into their Honey accounts, as "logout" isn't clearly stated on the site. You have to access the arrow down icon on the upper right side of the screen, near the Honey icon or by clicking on the Honey icon & getting the down arrow that has a list of options...one being "logout". I can't remember now, but will when I'm actually on my account page. I don't want to leave this message, as it be lost again & I don't want to have to re-type. I have severe tail bone pain, due to an auto accident. Sitting through all this nonsense will have me in pain for the rest of the day. I'll simply have to just lay down. Pain meds don't even work. It's nerve related & excruciating. For the time I've lost & the pain it's caused me (literally), I should get something from Honey in the way of points. Especially, since I had to solve my own problem, and now have passed on fairly good advice to Honey about IT concerns.***All I need to know now is why there is a clock running down in time? What does this mean? What am I supposed to do? I've claimed my *** points. So will the clock keep going until zero time left? Then in *-* days, my *** points will be added to the ** I got for joining? If so, then the clock should stop running, once the *** points (in my case) were claimed. The clock isn't really explained, and it's confusing, as to it's purpose. If it's the time to claim your points, then I repeat, the clock should stop once claimed. The rep said the points are hanging in the background to show up *-* days later. If the clock is stopped, then there's no confusion. This has cost me an awful lot of excruciating pain & aggravation. Honey needs to clear up some IT kinks, including the live chat that disappears & re-appears as you're typing, or it just closes out altogether.
