I bought a Homelite gas trimmer on 7-10-17, but it stopped spinning after a few uses with the shaft seizing. It's still under warranty. After speaking with Homelite customer service, I was directed to Tool Medic in Clio, Mi. However, after waiting for 2 months without any progress, I contacted Homelite again. They suggested taking it to Home Depot, where I purchased it. Upon arrival, Home Depot wanted to charge $18.95 for inspection despite the clear warranty coverage and the visibly seized shaft. Frustrated after traveling back and forth, I decided to leave it there. In my line of work with five auto agencies, we value customer service and would never treat a customer as I have been treated. This trimmer only cost $69.95, and I regret not disposing of it after it malfunctioned. Dealing with this issue consumed nearly 4 hours of my time.

I am searching for a replacement trimmer head for my trimmer/weed wacker model HLT26CDNB. I have gone through the original manual and confirmed the model number. I am struggling to find the replacement part in the USA. If it is no longer available, please provide me with an alternative part number and the company contact details. I am open to purchasing a generic part from a different company as long as it fits my trimmer. Any help in locating a compatible trimmer head is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

I purchased a Homelite 17" gas straight trimmer in May [redacted]. A friend assembled it and got it running. Since then, I have been unable to start it despite following the correct steps. In the summer, a neighbor managed to start it after some difficulty. I tried to return it to Home Depot but was told too much time had passed. I also attempted to sell it in the local newspaper without success. I'm feeling very frustrated after spending time in hot weather trying to start it. I am looking for assistance, like a partial refund. Unfortunately, I no longer have the box or receipt, as my phone was stolen. I do have all the necessary numbers and details from the receipt.
