The issue in GetHuman-lakemcdl's own words
I originally reserved a property on *HA-W*WYDT on July **, **** which was charged to my Discover Card. I cancelled the reservation on May *, **** which was confirmed by Vrbo. I received a $***.** credit only on May *th on my Discover card. The balance of $*,***.** was supposed to be refunded but never was. I contacted the home owner which sent me an email that said credit had been issued for two charges. One for $*** and one for $*,***.**. Discover has never received that credit. I contacted Discover to see if they could help with the credit and after a month I was notified that the original reservation was legitimate and no credit would be issued. I was NOT disputing the original charge. I was disputing the fact that I did NOT receive the $*,***.** on my Discover card. I have contacted the homeowner, Vrbo, Discover and customer service at vacationrentpayment.com. They say there was a chargeback and I need to contact my bank. I don't understand why the credit was never issued and am totally fed up with everyone. What do I need to do to get the credit of $*,***.** credited to my Discover card. I have copies of all the correspondence.

GetHuman-lakemcdl did not yet indicate what HomeAway.com should do to make this right.
