I have been unable to reach anyone by calling the many Home Depot customer service numbers and trying multiple menu options. ... New Whirlpool refrigerator delivered this morning has a scratch (which was hidden under taped-on Energy Guide info.) on the top freezer door. Scratch is about an inch long and down to bare metal at either end.
There seems to be no way to speak to anyone by phone at Home Depot - short of walking into a local store. Further, none of the Home Depot call menus offer an option to report this type of problem. This was surprising - and beyond frustrating.
Would like to request appliance touch up paint and a reasonable cash discount,
I have been a customer for decades and have purchased major home renovation products from them over the years. I am still a customer even after the Home Depot security breach several years ago, which resulted in my identity being stolen.

I finally stopped by a local Home Depot store, and the assistant manager graciously offered a discount for the damage (even though it likely happened at the Whirlpool factory) and offered appliance touch up paint.
