For the last month, we have been trying to purchase blinds from Home Depot in Staten Island, NY. Targee Street store, sent us to South Avenue store, South Ave. store sent us to Charleston store. All * stores could not cut blinds because their machines are down. In some cases more than * weeks. Today at Charleston store, sales rep. MIKE gave us such a terrible attitude & even refused to get the manager for us. AFter speaking with another rep, we finally spoke with Asst. Mgr. DAVID. He told us his machine has been down for almost * months. Is this the way Home Depot plans to do business? How about all the time we invested in trying to get blinds, only to be blown off by rude and uncaring employees. Is Home Depot trying to get out of this business? Is this problem only on Staten Island? Is this fair to your suppliers? Are you OK with longstanding customers being treated this way? To be fair, DAVID was not rude, but totally unable to do anything to make us feel like you even want our business. It is our hope that you look into this, correct the problem & make us feel like our business does mean something to you. We await your timely response.
