I was hired on as an HDI employee with the Jacksonville, FL division, with Wally Smith as my Sales Manager. I told Mr. Smith several times that after the completion of my training, I was not comfortable in this position. I went out on a couple of "ride alongs" with seasoned sales professionals, and there was a Sale of over $**,***.** for which I received NO part of the commission. I did not return home until **:**pm from this sale. Then was told by my sales manager, that I was listed as an *observer, not the *nd SC. Even the HDI associate, told me I would be given a portion of the sale. I was not given the proper information as to the "ride along" status. He claimed a miscommunication on my end. I was not informed that through Salesforce that I had to be listed as a *nd SC prior to it being put into "travel" mode. This happened to me several times. I additionally went out with my SM on a cabinet reface apt. and the customer had ALL of the qualifications for the sale, and it resulted in a NO SALE, my SM did most of the talking as I was still new. This apt. as with several others should have been a slam dunk. I additionally turned a tub to shower conversion, which we were not able to assist, due to the size of the soaker tub being too large for what HDI could assist, into an $*,*** Cambria countertop sale. A lot frustrated.
