The issue in GetHuman-ylsf's own words
We are extremely upset with the service we are receiving from Home Depot. We purchased a fridge, washer, and dryer on July *rd. Spent close to $*,***. We were told they would not be able to delivery until July **th. I get a call today saying our delivery date has been pushed back to August *th with no explanation as to why. I called the store we purchased it from and after several times of being put on hold and the CSR having to call me back because she didn't know the answer, we were simply told by the store manager that, "because you bought it during a sale, the items you bought were extremely popular so there's a back order on the items. Your new delivery date is August *th." This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Home Depot has placed the blame on us for shopping during a sale and therefore it's OUR FAULT that our items were popular and it's on back-ordered. Seriously?!? These items are NOT on clearance – they're on SALE. I mean, from the *rd to the **th…that's already *.* weeks…now we have to wait an additional * weeks with no guarantee that the items will arrive on the *th!?! In preparation for our delivery, we got rid of our current washer and dryer and now because of the lack of Home Depot's ability to fulfil our order, we have NO washer or dryer. Luckily our fridge is in good working order – was just upgrading the fridge. *.* weeks for kitchen appliances – I've never had to wait this long and there's no guarantee that it'll even be delivered on the *th. We are shocked and upset at the unprofessionalism of Home Depot. Is this how Home Depot conducts business and values their loyal customers? Waiting for a response from The Home Depot...let's see if they even respond.
