I made a payment approximately a month ago after speaking with a representative who assisted me in locating my account details. Although I settled the payment promptly, I am unable to locate the transaction online now. I am unsure of the reason for this discrepancy. Could someone investigate to determine if there were any unsuccessful online payment attempts or if a payment was declined by the bank? My name is Hend Ali, and the last four digits of my Home Depot credit card are [redacted].

I am contacting you regarding an electronic payment I mistakenly made on 5-14-[redacted] through my online bill pay to my previous Home Depot account ending in *[redacted] for $[redacted]. Despite my account being closed, the payment was not rejected. I have contacted customer service, and they advised me to have my bank send a fax to reverse the payment. The fax was sent on 5/29/[redacted] to 1-[redacted], but there has been no response. Even after reaching out to customer service again, I have not received any help. My bank confirmed that there has been no communication from Home Depot credit services regarding the fax. I am seeking assistance in getting my refund promptly. I have the electronic trace # and file trace # available. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, M.E.

I have an account number of [redacted][redacted] with an outstanding balance of approximately $[redacted]. I did not enroll in automatic payments. This month, I missed receiving a bill notifying me that the payment was due on September 12th. Consequently, a late fee of $27 was applied. Since I did not receive a paper bill from Home Depot, I kindly request the late fee to be waived. The account is now up to date, and I plan to keep it current moving forward, knowing that there might be gaps in billing reminders. I would appreciate clarification on why the bill was not sent on time for payment. Thank you. - Philip and Linda Walmer

I purchased an LG Dryer on April 28, [redacted] and received it on May 1, [redacted]. After only four days, the dryer started making loud noises and eventually stopped working. It was actually loud from the beginning, louder than expected. Since I've only had it for a few days, I refuse to get it repaired and would like a new replacement. I used my HD Credit Card for the purchase but haven't paid the bill yet. Currently, I am not using the faulty dryer and resorted back to my old one. When I tried to return the dryer at an HD store in Rehoboth DE, they mentioned they couldn't take it back as HD is just a middleman for LG. This was not clarified during my purchase. I want it resolved by either exchanging the defective dryer for a new one or refunding it to my credit card. I won't accept a repair. If not resolved within a week, I'll buy a different brand of dryer elsewhere. I'm a longtime customer with a reputable credit history and my business has been operating successfully for over 40 years, regularly purchasing from HD. Thank you for your time. - J.E.S., Ocean View Landscaping, LLC., 19 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE [redacted].

I received an automated call yesterday regarding my Home Depot credit card bill and promptly paid the outstanding amount. Even though I can't remember receiving a bill, it seems I was late in making the payment. I never received a physical card or know my account number; however, I completed a paper application at Home Depot. My name is Ronnie R. Pippin, with the last 4 digits of my SSN being [redacted]. My possible billing address is [redacted] Elmore Rd., Suite 4, Memphis, TN [redacted], which is my workplace. My home address is [redacted] Leafhaven Cove, Cordova, TN [redacted], but I'm uncertain which was used on the application. I made a payment for $[redacted].35. This morning, I received an email about the account being overdue, although I settled the balance entirely. I believe this may be a mistake. Can you please confirm this for me? Thank you, Ronnie

I have been trying to have a late payment removed from my bill so I can pay $[redacted].98. The charge was supposed to be adjusted before the billing cycle. I have attempted various phone numbers with no success. My chest freezer was damaged, and I had to wait for them to adjust the price or return it for a new one. This experience with my Home Depot card has been a nightmare. I refuse to pay a late fee for Home Depot's issues. Thank you. - Bill A. [redacted]

In January or February of [redacted], I applied for a Home Depot Credit Card during an in-store promotion where the cashier assisted with the application process. After forgetting about it, I was surprised to see my Credit Score drop a few months later. Upon contacting customer service, the issue was resolved, and my Credit Score was restored. Unfortunately, my score dropped again due to the same reason a month later, leading to frustrating phone calls where I was continuously put on hold. With the situation improving as Covid restrictions ease, I am eager to address and resolve this matter permanently. -Eric C. I made two payments to my Home Depot account ending in [redacted] last week. The first payment of $30 was made online. The second payment of $74 was made on 12/20. The first payment was made on time, but it's not showing up in my account. This is affecting my credit report, which I'm actively working on improving. I've called the automated phone number twice without any resolution. I urgently need this issue corrected.

In spring [redacted], I purchased a screen and storm door with installation for $[redacted].00. After two weeks of no installation, I tried to cancel just the installation and was informed to cancel the entire order. I re-ordered the door, had my contractor install it for $[redacted].00, but later received a bill for $[redacted].00 at the end of the billing period. Despite contesting the charges, I eventually paid $[redacted].00, including late fees, after several attempts to resolve the issue. Having been a loyal Home Depot customer for over 40 years and spent $50,[redacted] in various store locations, all fees were settled on 8-28-20. I have been a cardholder at H.D. since [redacted] with a perfect payment history. My son, a business owner for 18 years, recently realized the importance of establishing credit but was denied a Home Depot credit card due to insufficient credit history. I am willing to co-sign for him or his business to help him build credit. I am not looking to make him just a signatory on my account as it won't benefit his credit. I can provide any necessary documents with signatures via email to set up an account for him or his business. -JS, card ending [redacted]

I recently attempted to get a credit card but was rejected due to a missing phone number on my credit report following the Equifax data breach. Equifax confirmed the issue and updated my report after verifying my identity. I want to avoid any additional hard inquiries on my credit report as one has already been made. If there is an extra inquiry, please have it removed. Equifax verified my details and pointed out the missing phone number, so I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Thank you.

I received a call yesterday about my account being past due, which is incorrect. I made a payment in full of $82.31 on February 22, [redacted], which may have crossed in the mail. I value my credit and would appreciate an email confirming that the issue has been resolved. I am planning further home remodeling and would like clarification on what you claim to be an overdue credit balance. - AP, [redacted]

I financed a purchase and have consistently made payments. Recently, I received a notice regarding a late charge on my account, which was initially reversed. However, on this month's statement, the $28 late fee reappeared. Upon contacting the company, they insisted that my payment was late and would not reverse the charge again. This came as a surprise to me as I had submitted a $[redacted] check on Jan. 20, [redacted]. The check was deposited on Feb. 8, as confirmed by my bank. This delay in processing is unusual for me as I typically pay my bills by check without any issues. I find this situation concerning and would appreciate a thorough investigation into the matter. Despite being advised by customer service to switch to online payments, I am taken aback by the refusal to remove the late charge. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Target store credit contacted me about a credit application that was not mine. I only applied for credit at Home Depot on April 1st, [redacted], and didn't have any other credit cards. It's concerning that someone may have attempted to steal my identity. I'd like to know what actions will be taken regarding this incident and what measures will be in place to ensure the security of my information for future purchases.

On October 20th, I, James C. Kelley, made a purchase of a washing machine, a stove, and a dryer. While we received the stove and washing machine, the dryer was initially on back order and later stated as out of stock. We were offered a similar dryer at the same price, but it was then placed on back order until December 2nd. Despite our numerous calls, we have not received any concrete updates and they claim the refund for the dryer has been processed, but we have yet to see it. The total amount paid was $[redacted].00 by check and the remaining $[redacted].00 through my Lowe's account. I am seeking immediate clarification on this issue; otherwise, I may have to involve legal representation. Your prompt attention to this matter is much appreciated. Thank you, James C. Kelley [redacted].

Home Depot mistakenly did not credit my returned refrigerator order # H0[redacted]9, purchased on 9/18/22 and returned a week later. After contacting them multiple times, in-store manager Deanne resolved the issue on 11/25/22. During this time, I incurred erroneous late fees totaling $40 and interest of $26.06. Deanne mentioned that I was still responsible for payment until the credit was processed. I find this hard to believe, given the circumstances. My overall experience with Home Depot regarding the delivery, return, and crediting of the refrigerator, as well as the difficulty in reaching customer service, has been extremely frustrating.
