I booked a room in Huntsville Ontario and the person who did the booking made it for the wrong date. I was racing Ironman on Sunday July * and needed a room Sat July *. The hotel was fully booked and could not offer any solution other than to book at another hotel and was told Holiday Inn would cover the cost for their mistake. We had booked a * queen suite as we had * people in our party. Needless to say trying to find a hotel the day before a big race in a holiday town on a Sat night in July was NOT ideal. The only thing we could find was a * bedroom condo with a King bed and a pull out couch so * of us had to sleep in a king bed. *Also, I was counting on the breakfast that was included with our Holiday inn room. I was VERY disappointed that nobody was willing to help us find a room considering the mistake was not my fault. This was not the stress that I needed the day before a big race while travelling with * kids. *My case number is *********** and I was speaking with David.
