I'm contacting you on behalf of a patient. Otis Brown, who is at the Behavior Unit at St. Catherine Hospital. Member ID:*************.**According to a staff person, the patient is being over medicated. Given medication that's not needed. The family has been refused to see patient and has been informed that the patient will not be released until other medication is administered, medication that has many side effects that's not conducive to the patient's care.**The patient has not been regularly seen by the physician and is being punished because he refuses to take a shot of new meds. They will not allow him to communicate with his family to address concerns and treatment. **The medical necessity is not being met. Therefore, the insurer needs to stop payments to said provider. No due diligence is being met on the patients behalf. The provider is not only holding the patient against his and family wishes, but is in violation of laws and committing insurance fraud. **Concerned.
