I am very unhappy with my current rental. The key does not work to unlock or lock the doors or to set the alarm! This all has to be done manually and I am unsure of how to set an alarm due to this fact. Now, this may not seem like a big deal to any of you, however, I am disabled and this is something that is a bit of a necessity for me due to my disabilities. Not being able to arm the alarm is a crime risk as well! **I have always rented from Hertz because your vehicles were always top of the line and you were the best in the business. At the time of my rental, the car reflects over **,*** miles* this is not usually the case EVER with Hertz! This would be expected from a lesser company such as a Payless or Budget Rental. Normally, cars with this many miles would already be sold by Hertz in the past. **Never, at the height of my renting from Hertz as the director of travel for a major law firm who rented exclusively with your company has encountered anything of this sort, this was my primary reason for using Hertz and nobody else! If the quality of your rentals has diminished to this degree, I must honestly rethink my options when booking car rentals for not only myself, but must also rethink it as a board member of our law firm. Since this responsibility falls squarely on my shoulders. In the past, I never had to give this a second thought with Hertz.**This vehicle is rented for one week and I am already unsatisfied with the quality and the service I have received so far. Considering my contact with your Live Chat Support, who was LESS than helpful and retained a transcript of that conversation, for a company who supposedly prides itself on customer service this does not bode well. Our conversation was brief and he was absolutely the rudest person I have encountered your company. If this is what you have become, I am worried about Hertz's future! **Please note, I am not one to complain normally I am that person who will take the time to hold for a supervisor to make sure that someone is commended for his or her customer service, it saddens me that I was treated this way.***Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response with respect to my complaints.
