I arranged for two parcels to be collected from CO29RE to DH7 0PR on Saturday 21/12/[redacted]. Unfortunately, when the courier arrived, he claimed there was no room in his vehicle and declined to take them. I have since relocated from Colchester, Essex to Durham, and the parcels are now with a friend at CO2 9RB for collection on Monday 24/12/[redacted]. Despite providing accurate measurements, the courier marked the parcels as "not ready for collection," causing an inconvenience. My friend cannot wait all day for collection, adding further frustration to the situation. I would appreciate an explanation as to why this occurred and why the courier, given the precise measurements, was unable to collect the parcels. -Katherine A.

I got an email from Hermes on Thursday, December 19th, saying they are expecting my parcel, but their system still shows it as expected. These are customer orders meant to arrive before Christmas, and now my customers are very concerned because I cannot assure them it will arrive on time. I recently placed an order on Pretty Little Thing, and Hermes is handling the delivery. However, I've been receiving emails from Hermes claiming they encountered issues reaching my address since Thursday. I have CCTV and have been home, so I know this isn't true. I've tried reaching out to Hermes with no success. Pretty Little Thing is assisting me in contacting Hermes, but the parcel hasn't arrived yet. I've had problems with Hermes deliveries in the past, including a forged signature incident. I provided CCTV footage and a delivery time screenshot to resolve that matter. I'm feeling anxious about my current parcel's whereabouts due to the lack of communication from Hermes.

Hello, I had an attempted delivery on December 22nd. I received a delivery notification via text message, but no physical card was left as I have two dogs that tend to bark loudly at visitors. I have made multiple attempts to contact customer service via phone call, but I keep being directed to email or live chat options. Our delivery was missed due to illness on the 21st of December. Despite attempts to contact customer service, we were unable to reach a human representative for assistance. The automated phone service and chat bot were not helpful. We are in the dark about the whereabouts of our parcel with tracking number [redacted][redacted]. I am expecting a delivery from Hermes. Yesterday at 12:03 pm, I received an email stating that my delivery would arrive between 12 pm and 2 pm. It would have been better if they had sent a text message with more notice like other companies usually do. Unfortunately, I missed the delivery, and the courier did not leave a calling card as they were supposed to according to their website. Now I am unsure when the delivery will be attempted again today. I am wondering if I will receive another notification after the delivery window has passed. I am also unsure if the courier attempted delivery at all since no calling card was left.

The company that shipped my package provided the wrong postcode. The parcel was sent from Slovakia but is currently in the UK. It is a Christmas gift that I am eager to receive. I am fine with having it delivered to either of the following addresses: 60 Rose Avenue - LS184QE or Stratstone BMW Leeds, Gelderd Road - LS126EG. The customer service I received so far has not been helpful, and I am frustrated that the parcel might be sent back to Slovakia unnecessarily. I purchased an item on eBay a month ago, but have not received it yet despite multiple messages with the seller. I placed an order with John Lewis, which was then handed over to Hermes for delivery on December 5th. Despite several emails notifying me of delays, I have yet to receive my parcel. My parcel with code [redacted][redacted] has been in transit for a week now. Hermes was scheduled to deliver it on Sunday, the 15th. The email I received mentioned that the parcel is with them and I will be notified about the delivery. I attempted to contact the customer service number, but when I entered the 16-digit code, it indicated the parcel was dropped off at my local shop. Despite visiting all the local shops in my area, the parcel is still missing. I am eager to understand the current status of my delivery.

Hello, I am inquiring about my parcel with tracking number [redacted][redacted]. I recently made a purchase from VonShef HQ and my item was dispatched through Hermes. Unfortunately, I was unable to be present for the delivery due to an urgent errand. Upon returning, I discovered through the delivery email with a photo attached that the Hermes team had left the item outside my flat door. Regrettably, the item was nowhere to be found when I arrived. I am concerned about the security of leaving packages unattended outside my door, as it poses a safety risk. In the future, I would appreciate it if Hermes either delivered the item to a neighbor or took it back for a scheduled re-delivery. As a resolution, I am requesting a full refund of £16.99 for the item's price due to this incident. Thank you.

There was no need for a missed delivery at all. If my regular delivery person had come, they would know what to do when I'm not available. I believe a new person might be handling deliveries during the busy season. The new person almost delivered my parcel on the first attempt, just a small step away from placing it in my porch. The Hermes app is not as user-friendly as DPD's app. A small additional information box in the app could have prevented the need for a second delivery today. Contacting Hermes is incredibly difficult, as there is no email provided, only a problematic online problem solver. I am thoroughly unimpressed by this experience.

We were told the delivery would arrive on Thursday between 12-2, but it didn't show up. On Friday, while we were at work, the delivery arrived. We ordered 2 items at the same time from the same shop. When we returned home, we found the leggings in one parcel and a delivery notice with barely legible writing on it. The note only had "N" and a scribble on it. We have checked with all our neighbors, but no one has received the package. If it was left at the next-door neighbor's house, they are currently on vacation. These clothes were purchased with my daughter's birthday money, so she is quite upset about the situation.

I received an email stating my parcel was delivered, but no one signed for it, and no note was left indicating its location. The parcel contained my son's Christmas clothes totaling £[redacted]. Hello, I am frustrated because I was expecting a delivery at work today. I left a note on the door instructing the delivery person to call a specific number in case they needed help. However, they did not call, and as a result, the delivery was missed. This package held Christmas gifts for three individuals, and I am extremely disappointed that they won't be receiving them. Simply making a phone call should not be too difficult. I request that my parcel be sent to a different address due to this inconvenience. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate a contact number for the carrier.

I am currently waiting for a parcel that was due to arrive before the 20th of December. Because of its size, I had it sent to my office address. Unfortunately, the office is now closed, and I am experiencing difficulties reaching Hermes to coordinate a new delivery or collection. The office will remain closed on Christmas Eve when they will attempt delivery again. If only I knew the time of their arrival, I would make arrangements to meet them. Alternatively, if I had information on which depot to visit for collection, I would do so. Why does Hermes make it so challenging to get in touch with them?

I won't be home for Christmas and had arranged for my parcel to be delivered to my neighbor. Despite receiving email confirmation from Hermes, the delivery did not happen as agreed. My parcel is now left on top of my recycling bin, exposed to theft and weather damage. I have informed Arket, on whose behalf the delivery was made, about this issue. The tracking number for the parcel is [redacted][redacted]. I anticipate needing a refund from Arket upon my return. Unfortunately, Hermes' inconsistent delivery service has caused repeated problems with parcels being abandoned. Providing delivery instructions to Hermes seems futile as couriers either disregard them or do not receive them. I am frustrated with the substandard service Hermes has provided.
