I have received an email telling me my parcel is with the courier, but there is a ‘slight delay’. Two days later it has still not arrived . I paid £*.** for express delivery. The tracking number ls*****************

GetHuman-jandgco did not yet indicate what Hermes.com should do to make this right.

How GetHuman-jandgco fixed the problem
I contacted the retailer who instantly refunded the (express) delivery charge, and said they would contact Hermes. The customer service assistant said that Hermes maintained that they couldn’t deliver because they could not find the house. Today, Monday ** December, the order turned up with the regular courier. He said that Hermes did not have enough drivers last Friday, when I was told (by Hermes) that the parcel would arrive. Apparently this was due to absences because of illness and a known shortage of drivers.
