On June 23rd, I, Bryia K., placed an order for four barstools and one marble counter high table from your company. The barstools arrived on June 27th in perfect condition. However, the table delivered on July 2nd was severely damaged. After contacting customer service, they promptly sent me shipping labels to return the damaged table and ordered a replacement. I understand that it will take four days from the return's arrival at Hayneedle for the refund to reflect in my checking account, which is acceptable to me. An error seems to have occurred in my Hayneedle account as three tables were reordered instead of just one. Consequently, my checking account has been charged for two tables erroneously.

I am extremely disappointed in FEDEX's delivery service recently. The first package was left in the rain without any indication that it had arrived, leading it to sit out for hours getting wet. For the second delivery, I left a note for FEDEX to leave the package inside the door, but the delivery person ripped off the note and left the 35-pound, 60-inch long item lying horizontally on the steps. This lack of care is unacceptable as I am unable to lift packages left like this. Moreover, both days the delivery person drove through the part of the street marked "Private Drive Stay Out," causing unnecessary trouble for me. UPS handles deliveries with much more professionalism and care. If future orders are only using FEDEX, I will have to reconsider ordering from the company.

My experience with Hayneedle has been frustrating. After placing my first order, I didn't receive an email confirming the processing, which led me to call and inquire. The headboard I ordered for a full size bed turned out to be a full/queen size with an adjustable plate. Assembling it was a challenge as it didn't align with my bedframe, requiring me to make modifications. Trying to return it was unsuccessful as the leg extensions couldn't be removed to fit back in the packaging. The headboard's size was larger than expected and not what I wanted. To add to my disappointment, I found the same item on Wayfair for a lower price and correctly labeled. I reached out with a complaint on Hayneedle's website and filled out a survey but received no response. The directions were unclear, adding to my frustrations. Overall, this purchase has left me dissatisfied and regretful.

I recently purchased a La Crosse Digital Wall Clock with Indoor/Outdoor Temps, order #[redacted]-[redacted], which arrived yesterday via Fed Ex on September 7th. I intended for it to be a birthday gift for my husband. After setting it up following the instructions, the outdoor temperature display stopped working after just a few minutes. Despite having the clock set up for over 12 hours, the outdoor temperature remains blank. I have attempted the troubleshooting tips provided online, but none have proven successful. I am in the process of purchasing the Coaster Furniture 3-Piece Coffee Table in Warm Light Bourbon with a delivery date of Monday, September 24th. I have noticed your policy allows for returns within 30 days, giving me until October 24th to return the item if needed. However, due to travel plans from early October until October 14th and the time needed for assembly and inspection, I kindly request an extension for the return period, preferably until November 13th or 14th, [redacted]. Many businesses offer longer return windows, some up to 60 or 90 days, which I hope you could consider. I am concerned about receiving the item after the sale ends on September 23, [redacted], and my upcoming travel schedule. Could you accommodate an extended return timeframe in our contract agreement? Additionally, I would like clarification on the delivery process on September 24th - whether someone must be present to sign, the delivery window, and if a signature is required. I ordered the Coaster 3-piece coffee set in light bourbon. It was delivered earlier than expected on Oct. 4, [redacted] instead of Oct. 10th, [redacted]. Upon returning from vacation on Oct. 21, [redacted], I discovered the furniture had been left with a neighbor. Unfortunately, the coffee table has a large scratch, and one of the end tables also has a mark. I am requesting a replacement set to be sent at no additional cost for shipping due to the damage. I opened the package on Oct. 23, [redacted]. Kindly arrange for the new set to arrive at my address promptly, and please avoid delivery on Nov. 1, [redacted], as that date does not work for me. I recently made my first purchase and expected a 20% discount with the code 30%, but only noticed the error after submitting. It seems Walmart offers free shipping for orders over $35, which I prefer. I attempted to address the discount and shipping issue when I realized your office was closed. If I can't receive the 20% off and free shipping like Walmart offers, I would like to cancel my order promptly. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a cancellation option nor any assistance. In April, I purchased a bed from your company resembling a boat, which I fell in love with and ordered for my son at a cost of $[redacted].99, a substantial amount for me. Upon delivery, it arrived in multiple boxes with inadequate instructions, making assembly time-consuming. Some pieces were damaged, screws were missing, and the quality issues were evident, yet I opted not to return it due to the inconvenience. Shortly after assembly, the ladder broke, followed by other structural failures within a month, such as slats breaking and shelves not fitting correctly. Unfortunately, the bed collapsed entirely last Sunday while my son was on the top bunk after just three months of use. I recently contacted a customer service representative who couldn't address my concerns. After placing an order and being charged a pending fee of $55, I noticed today that the full amount of $[redacted] has now been deducted from my bank account. The charges are affecting my available balance. I received a discount coupon for my order being out of stock when placed, but I won't use it. Despite liking your website and being referred by a friend, I find being double-charged unacceptable. The representative said the pending charge will drop off in 4-5 days, which is inconvenient as I don't want my funds tied up before the full charge is applied. This practice doesn't sit well with me, and I intend to share this experience with my friends.

Hello, I recently purchased the Linon Anna Collection Hall Tree Bench and spent 3 hours assembling it, only to find that the last piece is missing. I was advised to disassemble and return the bench, which I find unacceptable. I am determined to obtain the missing piece without having to dismantle the entire bench. If disassembly is necessary, I request that a professional is sent to my home to handle it and reassemble the new one at no cost. I am frustrated by this situation and hope for a more reasonable resolution.

I recently purchased a Coaster 3-piece coffee table set with Order Number: [redacted][redacted]. This being my first time buying from your company, I was truly disappointed. The set I received was in unacceptable condition. Clearly, it had been used, damaged, and poorly repaired with visible glue marks. The finish was faded, and both the table and end tables showed signs of wear and tear underneath. I am left wondering if any quality checks are conducted on your products before they are sold. While I appreciate the cost of returning the set being covered and the promise of a full refund, the inconvenience of repackaging and sending it back has been frustrating. I received my order today and was disappointed with the condition it arrived in. The chrome is scratched, and the item was not properly packaged, which resulted in damage during shipping. I believe it should have been protected better, given the high price I paid. I spoke with a representative and was asked to provide pictures, which I am unsure how to do. This experience has made me hesitant to make future purchases from Hayneedle. I am requesting a refund for this order.

I am currently working out of town and had my furniture delivered to my sister’s house back in December. This past weekend was the first opportunity I had to visit and inspect the delivery. To my disappointment, there was a rectangular hole in the entertainment center box and the door of the furniture was badly broken. Moreover, I noticed that the backside of the furniture also had a matching rectangular hole. Although some time has passed since the delivery, I believe I should not be held accountable for a defective product given the circumstances were out of my hands. It is clear that the damage occurred during shipping, indicating that the shipping company is likely the liable party. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I am willing to provide photos as needed.

I ordered the Belham Living Monticello patio set with a fire pit included in both the description and the picture. However, I received a set without the fire pit or the regular table shown in the picture. This error almost caused me to cancel an important gathering. I had to buy a separate fire pit that should have been included. Customer service claimed the mistake was from Walmart.com and my only option is to return the item. I don't have the original box anymore and I believe I am a victim of false advertising. Just returning the item isn't satisfactory. I feel there should be more options since this isn't my fault, as I was promised a patio set with a fire pit. This experience has made me hesitant to order from Hayneedle again, despite other items on the website I'm interested in. Do you have a contact number for corporate?

I needed help with placing an order, but after trying the Customer Service number multiple times without any luck, I attempted to email them. Unfortunately, I discovered that emailing requires an order number, which I don't have yet due to issues with my credit card's CVV being wrongly declined. Despite the correct CVV, I couldn't reach anyone at Hayneedle's Customer Service line throughout the day. Given the recent acquisition by Walmart and reported layoffs, it seems difficult to get through for help. Without the option to email without an order number, I may have to consider ordering from another retailer.

I have not yet received my cast stone pot item. My order number is [redacted][redacted], and the tracking number is [redacted]. The freight company called to schedule delivery, but it did not arrive on the designated day. After contacting them, they claimed the item was neither on the truck nor in their warehouse, despite receiving notice that it was there. The tracking shows it has arrived in Phoenix but is missing. I purchased the Belham Living Richmond Deluxe Adirondack Chair and Ottoman with Side Table 3 Piece Set from Walmart.com. However, when my order arrived, I only received the small side table. My order number from Walmart is Order #[redacted]-[redacted]. I am disappointed as I paid for the full set and only received a fraction of it. I purchased two Hillsdale Furniture Molly Duo Panel headboards, with order number [redacted][redacted], received on June 15, [redacted]. Regrettably, they are incompatible with my bed frames.
