I believe there was an overcharge on my purchase at Hardee's in Alabaster, AL, located at [redacted] Hwy [redacted]. My total should have been $5.93, but I was charged $25.56 instead. I contacted the manager at the location, and after explaining the situation, they were unhelpful, not providing any resolution or corporate contact information. As a result, I have escalated the issue to corporate. If they do not refund me, I will seek assistance from my bank to resolve the discrepancy. This negative experience has led me to decide to no longer patronize Hardee's, similar to my decision after a similar incident at McDonald's over 9 years ago.

Subject: Disappointment with Recent Service Changes To the Corporate Complaint Department at Hardee's, I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and have always appreciated the products and services provided. However, I am deeply disappointed with the recent decision to keep the lobbies at all the locations near my house closed until lunchtime. This change has led to long and slow-moving drive-through lines, causing excessive waiting times and resulting in incorrect orders. I prefer not to use the drive-through due to these issues, and the lack of notification on the doors about the lobby closures is frustrating. Customers should be informed of the reasons for such changes. Until the matter is addressed and the lobbies are reopened for breakfast service, I have decided to boycott all Hardee's locations. Other fast-food chains like Wendy's and Burger King are facing similar problems, and I will also avoid them temporarily. I sincerely hope you can resolve this matter promptly. Coming back from a conference and feeling famished, I decided to stop at Hardee's for a quick meal. To my shock, the worker at the drive-thru window was incredibly rude to me over a price discrepancy on the cinnamon rolls. Despite my attempts to address the issue calmly, he began to curse at me and behaved unprofessionally. This incident occurred at the Hardee's in Topeka, Kansas, between 6:30 pm and 7:20 pm. The worker's behavior was beyond unacceptable, as he not only spoke disrespectfully but also mishandled my food order. The whole experience triggered my severe chronic PTSD symptoms, leading to a distressing physical reaction. I requested a full refund and left the restaurant, feeling fearful and upset. I tried to contact the complaints line without success.

Hello, I am following up for the second time regarding the Prime Rib Profit Investment I made on 10/8/20. My wife also participated, and despite not receiving anything, I previously emailed about our missing gift card without any response. Upon checking the tracking numbers provided in an earlier email, I discovered both packages were returned to the sender. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and resolution after paying for a service. I find it unacceptable that I have had to contact your company twice about this issue. During our recent visit to Hardee's in Blacksburg, SC, we ordered the new BLT burgers but were mistakenly given chicken instead. After informing the staff, they mentioned it would take 15 minutes to cook our burgers. We waited for 21 minutes and decided to inquire, to which the employee asked us to move aside and wait further. When we expressed our frustration, the manager, identified as Ka La, advised us to pull back down multiple times. We stood our ground and demanded either our food or a refund, resulting in receiving $12 before leaving without the burgers.

I ordered two value meals - chicken strips (no issues) and a Famous Star burger (#1) with bacon, both with Hi-C, and a separate small order of French fries from the Hancock, MD store. Upon opening the bag, I noticed the small fry was missing, but I couldn't go back due to time constraints. Later, at work, I was ready to eat my sandwich after removing the lettuce myself to simplify the order. To my dismay, the bottom of the bun was moldy. I also avoid drinking Sprite from this store due to unclean soda nozzles making the soda taste unpleasant. Discovering mold on my food is completely unacceptable and concerning. This oversight should not have happened.

On the evening of 9/1/21, at approximately 7:45 pm, my niece and I utilized the drive-thru service at the Hardee's restaurant on Route 46 in Jefferson, Ohio. Despite there being no other cars in line, we were rudely instructed to "HOLD ON!" We waited so long that two cars behind us became frustrated and left. When our order was eventually taken, the employee displayed extreme disrespect and rudeness. Upon receiving our order at the payment window, we were given a bag of fries and a milkshake that did not belong to us. After informing them of our actual order, we were met with further disrespectful behavior. Our order, which we received around 8:30 pm, was incorrect. Upon requesting a correction, we were handed a small box that we assumed contained the remaining chicken strips, but it did not. The employee's dismissive response and subsequent laughter from the staff were highly unprofessional. The quality of the food we did receive was poor, and I suspect it was intentionally prepared that way. I plan to report this appalling experience and the employees to the BBB and other appropriate authorities. This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope this was an isolated incident. I have documentation in the form of photos and videos if needed.

My spouse and I recently dined at Hall's restaurant and ordered roast beef sandwiches. To our disappointment, the sandwiches contained only a single thin slice of roast beef. When we mentioned this to the two young ladies working there, they insisted it was supposed to be that way. Despite their explanation, we found the portion inadequate. Following this experience, we decided to give the restaurant on Tazewell Pk a try after church last Sunday. However, our dissatisfaction persisted as my Super Cheeseburger combo arrived cold and appeared to have been left out for some time. Even the 3-piece chicken tenders were notably small. I am not reaching out for compensation; I simply wish to bring attention to the quality of service we received. It is unlikely that we will dine there again in the future.

I recently had an issue with my order at Hardee's, and their feedback page seems to be down. I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger and a small fries, specifying that I wanted the bacon and cheese only on the burger. At the drive-through, they charged me for the entire meal, even though I didn't want the drink. The cashier had me pull aside to fix it, causing inconvenience to other customers behind me. The manager eventually brought me my order, which included a burger, napkins, 2 straws, but missing the small fries. Unfortunately, the lingering smell of garbage from the drive-through added to my dissatisfaction. I attempted to reach out to Hardee's through their feedback page, but it was not working. I made an online order on 10/26/21 at store # [redacted], located at [redacted] Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA [redacted]. Upon arriving to pick up my order, I was informed by a lady that they did not have any record of my order. Despite showing my order and confirmation email to two different employees, I encountered unprofessionalism. Eventually, I received my order but sadly, my family and I fell ill after consuming the chicken. To make matters worse, I discovered I was billed twice for the order. A conversation with the supposed manager, who refused to disclose her name, ended abruptly when she promised to call back but didn't. I hope to see a prompt, professional, and fair resolution to this matter. Thank you. - C.W.

The manager at Hardee's threw my grandson's sandwich in the trash and refused to replace it. This happened because the drive-through trainee failed to enter the order correctly, causing my grandson to drive away and then return for his other sandwich. He asked for it to be comped, as Hardee's should have done, but the manager denied the request. This manager has been acting this way for at least six years. I've filed complaints about her at least six times!

I visited the drive-through the day before yesterday around 12:15 and ordered a chicken dinner meal, a chicken strip meal, and a burger meal for my coworkers. After waiting for 13 minutes, I drove back to the job site, only to find my order was completely wrong. Trying to call back, I was put on hold and then disconnected. Each time I called back, no one answered.

After cleaning all day, my husband wanted to grab a quick meal from Hardee's in Ringgold, Ga. Due to Covid-19, the dine-in area was closed, so he had to use the drive-thru. The website advertised a meal with 5 chicken fingers, fries, and a small drink for $5.99 each. He ordered 2 meals but was charged $17.90. When he questioned the price, the manager mentioned a coupon, which was not specified online. Returning to the drive-thru, the staff made a comment about him. The whole experience was disappointing, especially since my husband was only trying to help. I hope for an apology and perhaps some coupons for a chicken strip meal at a different location in the future. Such a letdown in service.

I made an online order at 6:15 p.m. My husband went to the restaurant at 6:45 p.m. to pick it up. He told them at the drive-thru, but they couldn't find the order. After some back and forth, they said they would prepare it, but later claimed they couldn't locate it. I called multiple times to resolve the issue but only got through on the last call at 7:35 p.m. I spoke to Miranda, explained the situation, and she found my order. She offered to prepare it, but my husband had already left for another restaurant. Miranda promised to address the staff's mistakes and offered help with getting a refund through the app. She even shared her cell number in case I couldn't figure it out. I texted her later, and she mentioned she works at the store occasionally and is originally from Rome, Georgia.

I visited the Hardee's located at the corner of White Horse Road and Augusta Street in Greenville, South Carolina. At 9am, I waited in line for 15 minutes. When I got to the window to place my order, I asked for a ham, egg, and cheese biscuit, a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, and a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. I also requested three medium hash browns, two cokes with no ice, and asked for the food to be freshly cooked. The lady at the window gave me a smart reply. Upon receiving my food, I challenged the speed of my order, and the lady insisted it was all fresh. When I asked for it to be cooked fresh, the lady refused. I escalated the issue to the manager who also denied my request for fresh cooking. After asking for a refund of $21.85, I had to drive out of my way to another location to get the food I wanted. The manager's attitude was unpleasant and disrespectful. As a 61-year-old disabled veteran, I have frequented Hardee's for over 40 years and have never experienced such poor service at any of their stores worldwide.

I observed two employees wearing headsets smoking something out of a pipe and cigarettes in a car parked in front of the store while it was unstaffed. Despite waiting for an hour, they didn't return to take my order. Instead, they remained in the car listening to music and smoking. I couldn't place an order for my group of 50 students, so we had to go to Wendy's. It's disheartening that Hardee's employees engaged in such behavior openly during their shift.

On March 5, [redacted], my husband and I visited Hardeeā€™s in Maynardville, TN, and tried their steak biscuits, which were delicious. The next day, we ordered 2 steak biscuits, confirmed the order at the drive-thru, but received 2 bacon and egg biscuits instead. After notifying the staff, we were informed that they were out of steak biscuits. The manager insisted we eat the bacon and egg biscuits, which were inedible due to being hard as concrete and excessively salty. We were not offered a receipt for the $8.60 purchase, which included 1 senior coffee. This experience was very disappointing as we would have ordered something else had we known they were out of steak biscuits. This level of service is unacceptable, and I felt compelled to share this feedback. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Debra Gibson, a big fan of Hardee's biscuits. I have a unique idea to share with the company. One day, while making biscuits at home without milk or buttermilk, I used my French vanilla creamer for my coffee instead. With a little extra butter, I created "FRENCH Vanilla Buttered Biscuits" that turned out delicious. Since Hardee's makes biscuits from scratch, I believe my idea could be a great addition. I would like to address an incident at the Hardee's restaurant in Blytheville, Arkansas. I ordered three number one combination meals, but unfortunately, I received two chicken sandwiches and a hot ham and cheese sandwich, one of which had curly fries but the other had nothing. I only realized this mistake when I got to work, six hours later. I have been trying to reach the restaurant for several days, but no one answers the phone. Each time I call, it rings and then goes to a loud squeal similar to a fax machine. I have attempted to resolve this issue for seven days without success. I am unable to drive the 11 miles to the restaurant without confirmation. I would like all three of my meals to be replaced promptly. It has been several weeks, and I would appreciate a resolution without further delay.

On Monday, June 6th, between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m., at Gallatin Tennessee East Main Street Harleys, I ordered a $5 meal consisting of three pieces of chicken, french fries, and a drink. Later, I added a chicken club sandwich. However, upon receiving the order, the cashier did not provide a receipt and the total came to $18 instead of $5 as expected. The subsequent interaction with the staff was frustrating as they refused to give me a receipt, insisting on the high costs due to taxes. After persisting, the manager finally threw $5 at me urging me to leave without addressing my concerns. It was an unpleasant experience dealing with unhelpful and rude employees who lacked customer service skills. Eventually, after multiple interactions, I obtained the contact information for the corporate office and left feeling mistreated and overcharged.
