I sent an email to *****@***.com, with photo of the If recalled chainsaw, showing serial number and also of injury requiring ** stitches and therapy. I learned about the recall for the chainsaw ****** while reading Consumer Reports magazine, August **** issue. I had no idea there was a recall, though I was having an issue with the power switch. Often times, the saw wouldn't come on and I had to wiggle the switch to get it to make contact. That concerned me, and I ended up cutting my thumb when it didn't start and I held it to wiggle the switch and it grabbed my work glove when it started unexpectedly. I never worried and chalked it up to my own clumsiness. Now I know. I see on your website, that the exchange was on May **, ****! Seriously? I used my account to check out, when I purchased this saw last year, and I wasn't notified that it was dangerous and that there was a recall? You have my contact information, including email address and mobile phone number. **I called the *** number on the flyer, that I found on your site, and in the recall notice in Consumer Reports, and never got to a live person. **What can be done about my chainsaw? While I am concerned about injury, I am back to **% healed. I want to know about replacing a malfunctioning and dangerous saw and why nobody seems to care.
