I purchased your Hampton Bay Alexandria motion sensor porch light in white a few years back. I assumed it would be long-lasting due to its solid construction. Unfortunately, the plastic cover over the sensor cracked, so I had to remove it, leaving the sensor exposed and unsightly. I can't comprehend why this happened since the light is in a covered porch area and not exposed to much sunlight. Is there a warranty that covers this issue? Do you have replacement plastic covers available? Buying a new light is not ideal, especially considering the cost. I've searched for the same model, priced around $50, as it matches our home's design perfectly. I'm hopeful you can provide a solution. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am in need of assistance. I have one of your ceiling fans in my bedroom. The other night at 3 am, my wife and I were sleeping when we were abruptly awoken by a loud bang. We discovered one of the ceiling fan blades had broken. The blade arm is now in two pieces, with one half still attached to the fan and the other half separated with the blade. My wife is now scared to use the fan, fearing the other blades may break. I tried to find the part online, but she insists on a full replacement. This situation is worrying, as someone could have been seriously injured by the falling blade. I have pictures available if needed. Thank you, Ray Cloonan.

I ordered the 11 ft. x 11 ft. Aluminum Full Screen Sliding Door Gazebo online with order number [redacted]35. I received sliding screen doors for all four sides but encountered an issue. Part D, which should be notched, and Part E, which should not be notched, were both notched. This has left a gap where the doors meet and two of the doors are also misaligned. To resolve this, I require three correct, straight Part E doors without notches to properly close the sliding doors. I have photos to illustrate these problems and can provide them if an email address is given. The current state of the gazebo renders it unusable until this issue is addressed. Kindly reach out to discuss this matter. Best regards, R. Catalano

I contacted Home Depot last week to purchase a transmitter for our 12-14 year old Hampton Bay 5-blade ceiling fan with light. The original control had 8 buttons including fan auto, timer, forward/reverse, light delay, temperature settings, an on/off button for the light, and a fan speed control. After being assured that Home Depot had the replacement, I had an electrician come to install it, only to discover it was incorrect. I am 71 years old, and my husband is 72. We have limited knowledge of technology and taking photos. The electrician provided me with the receiver model number UC70587. I need the correct transmitter to match this receiver in order to operate the ceiling fan correctly. The confusion has cost me $[redacted] in service expenses due to the wrong part being sold by Home Depot. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lillian H.

I recently received a damaged chair body from Hampton Bay as part of a Woodbury 4-piece patio set ordered online through Home Depot. After filing a claim for a replacement, I unexpectedly received two chair bodies. When trying to return the extra one to Hampton Bay, they said they didn't want it back. I then offered to purchase legs for the chair to make it usable, but they refused and suggested I throw away the new chair body. This wasteful suggestion and uncooperative attitude have been frustrating. We find it disappointing and will not be recommending Hampton Bay for future purchases due to this experience.

I bought a Hampton Bay glass top patio table from Home Depot. In the middle of the table, there's a hole for the umbrella. We set up the umbrella stand right under the hole in the center of the table and put the umbrella through, securing it into the stand. When the umbrella moved in the breeze, it caused the glass top to shatter. It was a calm sunny day with just a bit of wind. I am hoping Hampton Bay can offer compensation for the table breaking under the pressure of the umbrella.

I've been struggling for a few days to make my Hampton Bay ceiling fan rotate counterclockwise again. Despite my frustrating online searches, I can't locate a switch near the fan or a "REV" button on the remote. Instead, my remote features a "FAN TIMER" button in place of the "REV" button found on other remotes. The remote, which is an LCD display thermostatic remote with eight buttons, controls the fan besides the wall switch for turning it on and off. The colored center buttons adjust fan speed and light, while the remaining buttons are labeled FAN AUTO, FAN TIMER, LIGHT TIMER, LIGHT DELAY, with the last two being up and down arrows for SET TEMP./HOUR. The intact sticker indicates the model as 54CHROL with UPC#[redacted]56. Additionally, on the same sticker, other information includes CLI-1, Y40404-05, and the unique identifier [redacted]. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Subject: Broken Glass Table Top on My Hampton Bay Posada Patio Set Dear Hampton Bay Service Department, I am a proud owner of the Hampton Bay Posada Patio set in West Bend, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, during a severe storm on August 26th, the glass table top was shattered, possibly due to the wind blowing the closed umbrella against it. This incident has dampened our outdoor enjoyment. I am reaching out in the hope that Hampton Bay stands by its product and can assist in replacing the shattered glass top. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, P.J.H. [redacted]

Hello, I am Kenneth. I have been a loyal customer of your light products, ranging from wall lights to outdoor products. Recently, I purchased your LED Solar Rotating Lens Path Lights, 2 Pack at the beginning of this summer. While they were initially bright and nice, about 3 weeks ago, they started to dim significantly and eventually stopped working. Upon attempting to replace the rechargeable batteries, I discovered that the inside wires were glued together and got damaged in the process. Unfortunately, I cannot return them to the store as they have been in use. I would appreciate it if you could reach out to me to discuss this issue further. The SKU # for the product is [redacted]46. Thank you, Kenneth A. 28 Second St, Sayreville, NJ, [redacted] [redacted] kenneth00music[at]yahoo.com

I would like to report an issue with one of your light fixtures. It has two large glass "fixtures" on each side that are held up by a white ring screw bolt. About a year ago, one of the glass fixtures fell and shattered, leading me to buy a replacement. Unfortunately, this happened again over the weekend. Despite my husband tightening them as much as possible, they keep loosening up, resulting in the loss of two glass fixtures. This poses a serious risk as it could potentially cause harm if it were to fall and injure someone. I would appreciate advice on how to prevent this from reoccurring to ensure the safety of my family and pets. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial. Thank you. - D.

I am in need of a 42-inch fan for a third-floor apartment model AM212-WH, as it has a 12-inch drop from Home Depot. I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years in West Springfield, MA, and I have spent thousands of dollars there. My electrician installed the fan, but when putting the pieces together, we realized the (H) part with the pull chain was missing. Despite our efforts to find a replacement, we had to purchase another identical fan as the unit was due to be rented out soon. The fan operates, but the lights do not work. I only require the missing (H) part. Can you please send me this part so I can use it? It would be more cost-effective to return the fan to the store than to send it back to you. I find it hard to believe that I or my electrician misplaced or discarded the part. Thank you for your assistance. HB produces good products with nice packaging and great value. - Ed Porter

I purchased a solar black spot light (Item #[redacted], Model # NXT-SL-12) at Lowe's in Pittsboro, NC less than a year ago. The solar panel seal has failed, causing water to get inside and affecting its performance. The light still works but is dim due to the water. I'm unsure if it's possible to remove the water or if I need a replacement. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. David H. I bought several LED Solar lights (item number: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]) at Home Depot in Bradenton, Florida, in January [redacted]. Unfortunately, two of the lights have a faulty battery panel, leading them to not turn on automatically in the dark and flicker even when manually switched on and off. I attempted to exchange the lights at Home Depot a couple of weeks ago, but they only allow exchanges within 3 to 6 months of purchase. They advised me to reach out to Hampton Bay directly, citing the one-year warranty. I am seeking reimbursement or replacement for the two defective lights. I possess the receipt and can provide it upon request. Thank you, David G. Email: [redacted]

I bought 2 Chateau Deville light fixtures (SKU [redacted] [redacted]) for $59.99 each, but unfortunately, one arrived with a cracked glass. Home Depot contacted Hampton Bay, who can sell the replacement glass for $61.00. I find it odd that the glass costs more than the entire fixture. I just need the glass, not a whole new fixture. $61.00 seems excessive. Could you possibly assist with this pricing issue? Is it possible for Hampton Bay to provide a voucher for a discounted purchase of the glass? Your help in resolving this matter and ensuring good customer service would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, F. P.

I am in search of a replacement remote control receiver for a Windward III fan, model [redacted]-[redacted]. The details from the existing remote control are as follows: 7067kcb-62(4.5+5) Model: UC7067rk. Following a power outage, I face difficulty in getting the fan to respond to the remote control. It typically requires multiple attempts of flipping the wall switch on and off. Sometimes, waiting about 15 seconds after turning off the wall switch and then turning it back on results in a single flicker of one of the lights before eventually both the fan and lights start working again. The remote settings are for both the fan and lights to be on. However, this issue persists every time there is a power interruption, requiring the repetitive flipping of the wall switch to restore functionality. The situation almost appears as if a reset is needed, leading me to suspect there might be an issue with the receiver. Regards, Paul L.

I am looking to replace the 3-speed fan switch in my Hampton Bay ceiling fan. I took photos of the wiring colors on the current faulty switch, turned off the power, and disconnected the old switch to take to Home Depot. There, I bought a Westinghouse 3-speed switch and carefully installed it, ensuring the same colored wires were connected in the same slots as before. The fan is now working, but it won't shut off, and the middle speed isn't functioning. It only turns off when I switch off the wall power. I double-checked the wiring colors, and they are in the same positions as previously. Wondering if there is a specific Hampton Bay switch I should use instead of a generic one, or if I need to rearrange the connections. Thank you, J. A.

Hello, I recently bought a Hampton Bay Carina style pendant light, semi-flush light, and chandelier. Unfortunately, I encountered multiple issues with these lights. Firstly, the chandelier's hanging ring broke when I was assembling it. Secondly, the glass of the pendant light was cracked upon unpacking. Lastly, one of the arms holding the light bulbs in the third light was crooked after installation. These quality problems have been quite frustrating, especially since I had to return each of the lights for replacements. As a busy single mom, it has been challenging to deal with these setbacks, especially with an upcoming party where I hoped to showcase the lights. While I find the design appealing, the issues with the materials are disappointing. I am hopeful for some form of compensation and am considering buying more lights from Hampton Bay for my home if the situation is resolved satisfactorily. I value your assistance in addressing these concerns. Thank you, Melissa A.

I bought 4 Hampton Bay Flush Mount Lights from Canadian Tire and set them up in my living room, which we really liked. However, one day the center mount with the frosted glass suddenly fell down, nearly hitting my wife and sons. It shattered into tiny pieces, causing us minor injuries. Worried about the other 3 lights facing similar issues, I tightened them and added some hot glue for extra security. I am concerned if this is a common problem as we cannot afford to replace all of them. I considered buying a new one from Home Depot, but financially it's not feasible. For now, we are keeping the damaged one exposed.

I have six AC-5520D Gazebo fans on my outdoor porch ceiling. The light kit globes are stuck on all fixtures and cannot be removed to change the light bulbs. One of the globes cracked during an attempt to unscrew it, nearly causing injury if not for the safety gear. Even after removing the light kit from another fan, the globe remains firmly stuck. I request a replacement of these 6 light kits at no charge. The number inside the light kit is E75795 "FF". For a swift resolution, you can contact me via cell [redacted] or email. We have enjoyed these fans and lights and hope for a quick fix. Thank you, Phil Ledea.

I have six AC-5520D Gazebo fans installed on my outdoor porch ceiling. Unfortunately, the light kit globes are stuck and I can't remove them to change the light bulbs. One globe cracked while trying to unscrew it, even though I took precautions. I attempted the same on another fan without success. The glass globe won't budge. I'm asking for a replacement of these 6 light kits with the number E75795 "FF" at no charge. I can be reached at [redacted] or via email. We've enjoyed using these fans and lights and hope for a quick solution. Thanks, Phil Ledea.
