I recently ordered ink from HP and received ink along with photo paper that I didn't request. I was advised to refuse the parcel, which I did, but the delivery company re-delivered it to my neighbor the next day. When I contacted HP again, a lady instructed me to keep the ink and paper, assuring me that I would receive a refund. Despite confirming this multiple times with her, I am still awaiting the refund. I have exhausted my mobile credit attempting to speak to a live representative instead of an automated system. This has been frustrating for me and I hope to have the refund issue resolved promptly. - Jacquelin Mortimer

I am a proud owner of an HP [redacted] printer and encountered issues with purchasing the HP [redacted] yellow ink. Initially, Walmart provided a refund for the ink that didn't work, but later refused returns for opened cartridges. This left me with a $37.38 ink cartridge that I am unable to use. I am hoping for an HP credit as I require ink cartridges for my HP2640 as well. In the meantime, I ordered a replacement ink cartridge from Amazon. I am crossing my fingers that this one works to avoid having to replace my [redacted] printer. Your prompt assistance with this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you. Best regards, Mardi Calhoun

I recently purchased a Pavilion laptop which is only 2 weeks old. Since receiving it, I've been experiencing sound issues. Whenever I play a video or stream music, the sound starts off loud and clear, but then diminishes to an extremely low volume, making it impossible to continue watching or listening. It seems like there might be a problem with the speaker. Even after the sound fades away, I can't adjust the volume using the buttons or system settings. I've already tried updating Windows and making sure I have the latest drivers, but it didn't solve the problem. I also attempted to upgrade the sound drivers, but each time it says I have the most current one installed. I'm not sure if it's a hardware issue with the speaker, but I need assistance to resolve this promptly.

My HP Officejet Pro [redacted] printer, serial number CN47AC40K9, primarily used for business, started displaying an error message after I replaced the magenta cartridge with a new one. Despite restarting the printer, updating the firmware, and cleaning the cartridge contacts, the error persisted. Even after installing all new cartridges for every color, the issue remained. The current message says, "Until cartridges are installed, make sure the printer is turned on to avoid damage to the printer." Although I attempted troubleshooting with the HP Virtual Assistant, none of the suggestions resolved the problem. Unfortunately, the Virtual Assistant doesn't provide a case number to contact a live agent, and its repetitive solutions have left me frustrated. I am in need of assistance from a human agent.

I suspect that individuals are posing as HP technical support personnel. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a scam involving the 123hp.com download. I followed their instructions and purchased gift cards to resolve driver issues, with a promise of a refund. The person behind this identified as Clay Jensen, extension [redacted], reachable at [redacted], claiming to be located at [redacted] Hanover St, California, and texting from [redacted]. After inquiring about my refund, he attempted to extort more money by falsely stating my computer was compromised. I seek clarification on HP’s address verification and the legitimacy of this individual's employment. I share this to highlight the numerous similar complaints online. This experience makes me hesitant to engage with HP in the future, potentially damaging your reputation if customer security isn't ensured.

I am experiencing difficulties with my HP OfficeJet Pro [redacted] printer not accepting Non-HP ink cartridges. My printer, purchased in [redacted], falls outside of warranty coverage. It seems that in September [redacted], HP released a firmware update causing the rejection of certain Non-HP ink cartridges. I learned that in [redacted], the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) required HP Australia to provide a firmware update to disable the DSF (dynamic security feature) for all HP inkjet printers produced before December 1, [redacted]. This update allows users to utilize non-HP ink cartridges without issues. I am seeking guidance on how to obtain this firmware update (IOS for Mac) for my HP OfficeJet Pro [redacted] printer.

Hello, I acquired an HP laptop (Model - 15s Duo; Serial No: CND9522PJC) on May 21 from Reliance Digital. From day one, it had a display issue. After contacting Reliance Digital, they advised me to file a complaint with HP customer support. I logged my initial complaint on June 1 (Complaint No: [redacted]). HP support suggested updating the Windows version, but the problem persisted. I raised two more complaints, but the issue remained unresolved. Subsequently, I reached out to HP Care (TVS Electronics at Jayanagar 4th Block, Bangalore) on June 12. After inspection, they confirmed it was eligible for replacement. However, it's been 44 days since then, and I have not received any further updates. I am looking to resolve this matter with HP. If there is no progress in a week, I will have to seek legal assistance.

I'm Margaret McPherson - Peggy - and I want to share my recent experience trying to purchase HP #65 black and color ink cartridges for my HP DeskJet [redacted]. Despite shopping regularly at Walmart, I haven't found them in stock for a couple of months. My sister and her husband in Tampa have faced the same issue, resorting to refilling their cartridges and ordering online. My daughter managed to find a black cartridge at Costco after a long search. I was left unable to print for over a month. I wonder if this scarcity is becoming common. Are these cartridges manufactured in China? Given the current situation with Trump and China, I am concerned. I tried to research their origin but only found advertisements. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Stay well, Peg.

I have an HP3830 printer that works well on my Win7 machine as a local printer. Recently, I set up a new Win 10 machine, but I can't seem to print to the HP3830 from it. The print spooler doesn't seem to receive the files. I tried making the printer a shared printer from the Win10 machine, and it printed the test page correctly. I made it the default printer on the Win7 machine, and it also printed the test page. However, when I tried printing a document from the Win7 machine, it didn't print. The print queue on the Win10 machine showed the documents but didn't print them. I then tried printing from Notepad on the Win10 machine, but again, no success. I heard there were recent changes in Windows, and my Win 10 version is [redacted] from June [redacted]. I'm puzzled by this issue.

I am experiencing an issue with my HP Instant Ink service. Despite informing customer support about my low color ink levels, they mistakenly assured me that my printer had enough color ink. Now I am completely out of color ink and urgently need a supply. I am requesting an immediate shipment of color ink via overnight delivery to resolve this matter promptly.

I have a HP Envy laptop and encountered a problem trying to perform actions that required administrator access. Despite following online instructions to add an Administrator account to my User account, I found myself setting up a new Admin account unintentionally. Unfortunately, this new account does not have my essential applications like AOL and Microsoft [redacted]. I restarted the laptop hoping to return to my original User account, but it consistently opens in the newly created Admin account without providing me the option to switch back. My Envy is for personal use and operates on a personal Wi-Fi network. Any guidance on how to access my User account with all my applications intact would be greatly appreciated.

My dear HP PC has stopped working. The issue lies with the [redacted] GB Poket media drive. After replacing Windows Vista with Windows 10, the data recovery process did not include the photos stored in the Poket. When I connect it to Windows 10, it indicates the drive is obsolete and does not operate. How can I resolve this problem? Could you assist with data recovery? Thank you, Francesco Cipriano.

I am currently in the process of acquiring a return label for my laptop. Regrettably, my rush order HP laptop did not arrive on time even though I paid for expedited shipping. Consequently, I purchased another HP laptop for my urgent meeting and planned to return the first one ordered online. HP mandates that any order over $[redacted] requires a return shipping label to be requested. I initially completed this request a week ago but received no response. Following an hour on hold with customer service, I engaged in an online chat to request the label today. Despite some unnecessary discussion from the agent, the return labels were eventually sent. However, upon reviewing the email, I discovered I had received labels for wireless mice instead of the computer. I made it clear during the chat that I intended to return the laptop. I have yet to receive the correct label and am growing concerned about meeting HP's 30-day return policy deadline.

Hello, My name is Scott Steffen. I had a terrible experience with HP customer service regarding a new computer I purchased online. I am a professor from California and rely on my $[redacted] HP all-in-one desktop for my online teaching job. Despite purchasing the computer on 06.29.[redacted] with a 3-year warranty and receiving it before my job start date on August 15, [redacted], it constantly froze, requiring multiple restarts daily. The Premium Support line (1.[redacted]) was unhelpful, with various agents providing ineffective troubleshooting solutions over 7 days. Each call meant repeating the issue and starting from scratch. This continuous loop of unproductive support was frustrating.

I currently own an HP 27” All-In-One computer with a malfunctioning touch screen for the second time. The first time it was repaired, but the issue resurfaced post a recent Windows update. The touch screen's erratic behavior leads to a black screen/logo loop followed by auto-fix failures. While I had replaced the computer initially, I noticed it works fine with keyboard and mouse if the touch function is disabled. However, the faulty touch screen hinders my efforts to deactivate the touch function. Each attempt to resolve the problem ends in the failed auto test loop. I am seeking assistance on how to access and disable the touch function. Best, Graeme S. from Melbourne, Australia

Yesterday, I purchased an HP ink cartridge 61XL from Staples. However, upon installing it in my OfficeJet [redacted] printer, I received a message that the cartridge needs to be replaced without specifying the defect. Today, I returned the cartridge to Staples, and they directed me to contact HP directly at an [redacted] number listed on the box, which was not present. Visiting hp.com/support, the automated assistant was unhelpful, and I could not find any contact information for HP regarding returning defective cartridges. I am frustrated with the lack of assistance from both the store and HP. I paid $50 for a faulty cartridge, and now my printer is unusable until this issue is resolved. I am disappointed with the customer service experience and need guidance on how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I've had trouble receiving assistance from HP chat and Best Buy. I bought an HP [redacted] convertible on 3/4/20 at Best Buy in Soquel, CA. Unfortunately, in June [redacted], the letter "A" from the keyboard fell off and broke when I tried to reattach it. I'm looking for the best solution on how to fix this issue. I would like to know where I can take it for repairs or if HP can send me a replacement part. It's disappointing to have problems so soon after purchasing the laptop, especially considering my previous Dell laptop lasted a long time. Here are the details of the HP Pavilion Convertible: Serial # 8CG0070MBT, Product # 7UQ84UA#ABA. Thank you for your help. Claudia E. [redacted] Orchard St, SPC 16 Soquel, CA [redacted]

I bought an HP Envy X360 from Best Buy on June 6, [redacted]. The laptop worked fine until the microphone stopped working before losing all sound after 45 days. Best Buy asked for $[redacted] to fix it, but I refused, believing the laptop as new should not have these issues. Best Buy claimed I should have returned it within 30 days. They refused to contact HP for a replacement. Another computer service quoted $[redacted] to fix the defect and already charged $50 for diagnosis. Since the laptop had issues within a week of purchase, I think HP should replace it, as it seems to be a defective product. I hope for your help in resolving this matter. Thank you, Donna K.

I am inquiring about the replacement of my printer, which was originally sent two weeks ago but got lost in the mail. I made a double payment for it and was told a replacement would be sent. However, I have been waiting for almost two weeks now with no printer. I am unable to return the faulty one until I receive the replacement. When I call customer service, I keep getting transferred between different departments or hung up on by rude individuals. This has been a major inconvenience as I rely on my printer for work. I kindly request a prompt update on the status of my replacement printer. Thank you.
