I am writing to complain in regards to a laptop I purchased form you * weeks ago.**I work in freelance web design. The laptop was purchased to replace an ageing mac book. I decided to move back to windows and purchase a HP laptop given the specifications on offer and my perception of the brand.**After around * weeks I began to experience an issue with the display & a purple strip down the screen. It was intermittent and I am working to a tight deadline so I decided to continue and resolve once the work was finished at the end of April.**The issue become progressively worse so I contacted HP support. I was given various tasks to do including updating the BIOS, which not only took a fair amount of time, resulted in me having to spend extra time sorting out issues it caused with MS office. This made the problem worse, so I was then advised by the team to reset windows. I explained that I couldn't afford the time to do this so was then advised to monitor BIOS for an hour and see if the problem occurred. Again a completely unreasonable request given I am working to a very strict timeline.**Following this, I contacted HP support, who advised me its likely to be a hardware issue (as it was not occurring on external display) and I would need to send the laptop off for repair. When I explained I have only had the laptop a number of weeks they advised that had the issue been reported within * weeks (when it originally occurred), I would have had the laptop replaced, but since it was now * weeks I will have to send it off for * days to be repaired. They also advised that loan laptops are not available at the moment, so I am literally left with no option.**I cannot afford to lose the laptop for * days for repairs, as I need this to complete a piece of work to a strict deadline in April. I do not expect this level of service from HP and would appreciate it if someone could call me to discuss a resolution to this as a matter of urgency I am on *** **** ******.**Many thanks*Ryan
