Open the cover and the screws fell off and the hinge shifted. ... We purchased a laptop on******* and on ******* the hinge broke. We did not purchase the extended warranty because we expected HP to be a superior product. We have had * estimates to repair it and they were between $***-$***. The laptop has not left our home since it was purchased and only seldom left the room where it is kept. It was never dropped or damaged in any way. We would like reimbursement for the repair or replacement of the computer. It is especially frustrating because the computer is so new and so expensive to fix.
