The issue in GetHuman-hweilinn's own words
I spilled about **ml if water over my keyboard, trackpad and screen yesterday at approximately **pm. I turned it off, disconnected the charger, wiped off visable water and left it upside down. I used a piece of card to get in the groves and underneath the keys to absorb any excess moisture. After * hours, i turned it back on and ran diagnostics tests ( using f*) and all tesults for power, hardware, audio, keyboard, touchscreen, and trackpad came back positive. I turned it off again, left it over night (about *.**a.m.), and ran another set of diagnostic tests ( the ones downloaded from hp website) and again all tests came back positive. The laptop seems to work fine though it does occasionly (especially initially after start up) a light whirring and clicking noise. I can't remember if this is normal behaviour as i have not shut my mac down since i got it a few weeks ago. Due to the fact that it wasn't a lot of water and the laptop is working fine now, am i in the all clear?
