I was hoping for at least an acknowledgement of receipt of my letter but would obviously prefer a positive response to the content of my letter. ... In mid March **** I wrote to HMRC, at BX* *AS, as requested by an agent in an earlier telephone call. I wrote requesting a refund of my personal pension payment relief over the last * years. I included a letter of confirmation of the last * years Annual Allowances, issued by Dept of Education, Teachers' Pensions Branch on ** March ****. At the end of the telephone conversation with the HMRC agent I was informed that I should write to HMRC and I would receive a response within * working days. I have not, as yet, received an acknowledgement or response to my request. Can you provide an update?
It has been over * months since I forwarded a letter as requested by an HMRC officer.
At least an acknowledgment of having received my letter and consideration by HMRC of the letter contents.
